That was AWSOME ,,,,,you and I have talked before on foiling...now that product really steps things up to a new level.. DAM just think start off with a black body and start outlining a craw or the bones of a fish on the out side and foil.

I love this idea, so many possibilities. The metal leaf in my opinion is a more natural shade than most metal leaf. I can see this taking off with the mouldable glue especially with the metal plate crawfish with the edges of the steel and rivet's etc! Plus edge's of wounds.Eyelid's over the fishes eye even though they don't have any, the fish such as a pike could look angry! A brilliant product and professionally exhibited. @@lureblanks Oh great, I'm chuffed that I've been of some help for a change lol. The glue can be worked into thin layers that's what is needed. I remembered watching your videos of the wound and the steel plates and the conversation that we had, and that's what triggered the idea. So it's you that should be praised for giving me the idea in the first place. I can't wait to see you use the texture glue and metal leaf, it's a pity that the glue can't be put through an airbrush over meshing to give a 3D effect! But I'll leave that to you the professional. @@PENFOLD1962 I think the glue could be used used maybe through an airbrush when thinned down with a little water, it is waterbased afterall . I haven't tried that yet I am not sure if I dare to try it yet. Cause if that stuff dries in the brush... your done 😅 not sure if I am ready for that 😆 take care!
@@lureblanks Yeah I wouldn't try shoving it through your airbrushes. It's properties are to set in lumps and bumps. I wouldn't dare do it or I'd end up with lumps and bumps in my pants 💩💩💩😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂. Take care my friend and stay away from the lumps & bumps 👍💩👍

Has anyone tried using fabric, such as old jeans and shirts to, make lures from?
After the lure is made, using a fabric based water sealant should keep the lure from soaking up water.
Looks awesome. I did this to three baits using a different glue that is designed for metal leaf. It looked great for about two weeks. The glue eventually began separating from the body of the lure creating bubbles under the clearcoat. Have you experienced this with Penart? Thanks.
Hi Thanks for the compliment! Never encountered that problem before with the glue from pentart and these lures ( i have one in my tackle box) and After one year they still look perfect 👊

Love the foil it looks amazing but can I ask why no shipping to U.K. as you do everywhere else. Really learnt so much by watching you and all the tips you give. I even did the armoured fish but not quite as good as yours. Lately I've been using Alclad paint and they have a good range of Candy's which look great over a foiled lure. I've also made a lure turner which holds 8 lures and stops the epoxy from running. I bought a cheap microwave motor off eBay and made a wooden box with 2 wheels either side holding 4 lures each with crocodile clips and it works really well. I would like to buy the foil and glue if possible, keep up the good work, great channel and I always look forward new videos.

Candy's are the best on foils 👊 unfortunately we don't ship to UK anymore since brexit, we are working on getting all the paperwork done and registration, but when that will all be finished is uncertain right now. Hello from New Zealand. Am I right in thinking there are no issues with the glue holding even when submerged in water?
Or do I need to apply a clear coat after in order to seal it?
Hi Gary! Correct, you need to seal it afterwards with a clear coat of your choice. It will probably not hold without any kind of clear coat as protection.
