That would be a great pattern for a crawfish crankbait color winter thru spring. Making paints transparent is a great topic...,haven't tried the candy 2o . I have had good luck with using different base materials and adding tint.
If you ever get the chance, give it a try and you will be amazed how nice these paints are. But ofcourse very nice things can be achieved with other transparent paints too 👌 I really suck at craw patterns but I can imagine it would be a cool color on a craw

Please can you make video on how you add the holographic pattern
These are painted with a pearl silver first and then hotstamped, Maybe i will do a video on that in the future, but there are ton of videos on that subject on youtube already ;) search for " hot stamping fishing lures"
I tried clicking the link for the clear coat you use but it won't work, can you tell me what you spray over the candy for a clear coat please?
Sure no problem, In this video I used an epoxy. It is a Swedish brand but It will also work with other brand epoxies
Hi! some bottles of candy has written Auto, are specifically for auto, can we use for lure painting?
Hi! Yes those are the old stickers, createx used to have a line called auto-air or something and so those labels on the bottles are a little outdated. But the paint is exactly the same for most colors and all can be used for lures 👌
I can use candy over a aluminium tape or after clear coat ? Aluminium tape and clear coat and candy
Yes absolutely , you can even use candies mixed with 4050 directly on aluminium tape and it will stick 👍
Thank you dear for the video, dear I have question please, i painted lure with candy2o mixed with 4050 and kept to dry 1 day then I sprayed with top coat glossy the paint had drip and runs
Thank you for the comment! Candy20 can sometimes drip and run if you are using a waterbased clearcoat. It does not happen often and it is hard to say why it did run or drip , maybe the 4050-candy20 ratio was not good enough, you can always seal your candy with createx bleedchecker to prevent it 👌 but it should work without

Hi! You can heat set them, but not too hot or else it might cause the 4030 or 4050 you mixed with the candy to delaminate 👌 but a little heat to speed it up goes perfectly fine
I thought I had heard that even the Candys would bleed one into the other and so to prevent that you had to spray an iter-coat to prevent bleed from one to the other?
That might depend on the brand and type of candy (urethane ir waterbased) generally speaking candies only bleed through other paints but not candies. I experimented a little more and with the 4050 combined with candy2o I don't get any bleed through anymore. With 4030 I do get bleeding 👌
Do you use the 4040 bleed checker with the candies? I would like to see a video explaining the use of it.
No I do not, because with the 4050 I do not get any bleed through. 4040 is just a midcoat that you spray in-between a candy and an other paint to prevent bleeding. You can spray 4040 with just an airbrush and is simple to use 👍😊

Yes they're all dyes. so mix away.
Can i use candy over fluorescent paint ?
Yes that too is no problem, light coats of candy give cool results with fluorescent paints 👍

@@scottm2244 For beginners I recommend Vallejo, if they can get their hands on it. Just a simple basic set, some thinner and airbrush cleaner. Will get you started just fine. Vallejo is just really easy to use and can be airbrushed straight from the bottle with any airbrush. Later on after a little practice, some createx pearl paints and the wicked detail moss green and sepia are a nice addition to paint more natural patterns. Or their fluorescent colors if you want to paint some brighter lures 😀
