Just caught Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, Blondie Chaplin and Brian's band perform their Christmas concert in Cleveland. If you need a sublime, joyous experience to welcome this festive season, catch this concert!
May Brian Wilson and his talented touring band continue to share Brian's beautiful music with the world.
Peace at Christmas, everyone.
I hope they come back! I went to Cincinnati to see them about a month ago. Id love to see them in Cleveland.
My favorite Beach Boy.
Whether he forgets the chord changes or not, Al's voice is still so great. Same as in '64!
Christmas day was the best beach boy christmas song...should be performed live. Al's the best.
I agree. These are my two favorite Xmas tunes. Good to see Al again. My wife and I met Al after the BB concert at Duke University in 1982 or 83....Great guy!
Al Jardine built Red Barn studios in Big Sur California years ago for private recording as well as Beach Boys projects.
Al, you're still THE BEST !!
Al is great!
Al you've still got a fabulous voice and clearly always will have! Love it! xx
This is GREAT!
Al Jardine still all kinds of handsome
Sorry to correct you. Al Jardine sings lead on the original album cut from 1964. Brian wrote it and sings the falsetto. ; )
I believe 1964's "Christmas Day" was the first lead vocal Al was assigned; it pre-dates 1965's "Help Me Rhonda" by quite a number of months. As for the critique on Al's live version that the backing vocals are lacking, please -- almost no one can match the originals.
Oooooh, how I wish I could have been there!
Way to go Al! Thanks!
Love it! Thank you very much!
Al Jardine please bring your guys to Iowa
Was this a concert? How many people does Red Barn hold?
Al Jardine is a cute guy and i think he is a cute guy
Isn't it sung by Brian on the original album?? Brian's voice was great!
87JuliR Al sang it on the album. It was his first recorded solo as a Beach Boy.
That's right. It was sung by Al Jardine, his first lead vocal with The Beach Boys.
Yes, Alan sang it on the LP. It was his first lead vocal.
This whole comment section is just a debate wether Al or Brian is singing on the original 😂
Was referring to Little St Nick bruh.
really pretty good,,100 times better than the trash mariah tune
OUT OF TUNE!!!!!
But in the mood!
No. Al sang it...
Wrong. Al sings lead on Christmas Day... jeez. Isn't it obvious?
I would have liked to seen Al sing more lead vocals. He's a much better singer than Mike Love!
Ooh no some well dodgy notes in this performance but not by Al!
Colsoloact That's because the band can't carry a tune and they suck!
My last name is Jardine.
Mike Love sings lead on the original version. Brian of course does the falsetto parts.
Nope. On the original version, from the Christmas album of 1964, it's Al singing. In fact, his first lead vocal with the Beach Boys.
@@qasanoba i think he's referring to Little St Nick
@@Mr_Lemon4813 - I think that too.
Al's voice is still great but those backing singers leave a lot to be desired.
