I have read that Carl didn't want this released because he wasn't happy with his vocal, which obviously wasn't recorded in a studio and wasn't meant to be a "finished" vocal. However, to me he still sounds great, especially since he was starting to show the early symptoms of the cancer that would eventually take him. Really wish that they would have finished this in the studio while he was alive.

This version is not US CD version but "Japanease CD version".
(This version is same as "iTunes download version" as well as "amzon MP3 version" .)
Incidentally, Japanese CD "A POSTCARD FROM CALIFORNIA" includes another third version "Waves of Love (Alternate take)" ( not US CD saxophone version ).
