  • The Titleist TSR3 and TSR2 are HOT!!! Titleist invited me to a private driver fitting to see what driver is best for my golf swing. After the driver fitting we narrow down one of the new TSR drivers that I can take onto the golf course.

    When he pulled out the IZ I just thought YES haha that’s my shaft I’ve used for a few years I had it in my tsi2 and when I got fit I also hit my best shots with it as well I gained 16 yards and 11mph ball speed by switching the head to the tsr2. I had my new heads went out with the hzrdus g4 black cuz it was the closest stock option to my ad iz

    Great video - Looking to upgrade my 19-year old TaylorMade R510 and would love to get fit by Titleist instead of Golf Town (tried with the Stealth/Cobra, wasn't a fan). Is there a place I can get fitted by Max or another internal Titleist employee on the new TSR line, or would you recommend Modern Golf? (Calgary local here). Thanks in advance!

    • @NewNineGolf
      @NewNineGolf  Год назад +1

      Hey Tyler. I know in the summer. Titleist has fit days regularly. I'm not too sure this is late into the season tho. I think you can schedule a fitting on the site and see what they say. If not, I would def go check out Modern Golf. That way, you can try out the different options head to head again to see how they stack up. The new TSR line sounds and feels so good. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for the support and hopefully we'll run into each other in town sometime. Come say what's up if we do. Cheers. 👊

      @@NewNineGolf Haha I'm still pretending it's summer - have Kananaskis CGC and Gleneagles within the next week. Crazy good October weather in YYC.
      I ended up getting fitted at Modern Golf and went with the TSR2 9 degree, Tensei black 65g X-Stiff 45inch! Awesome to see you putting Calgary golf on the map - been trying to play Country Hills but hopefully see ya around town 🙏🏼

    That's was an excellent fitting. My only gripe and it's a BIG gripe, is that you appeared to be using range balls?
    I see a lot of fittings with range balls, and I know they say you can normalise the trackman, but its a variable that's too important for me. I'd rather get fit indoors on a quad with my gamer ball, than outdoors with range balls.

    • @NewNineGolf
      @NewNineGolf  Год назад

      Yes I’m not a fan of range balls either. The range we were on was rather short so I would have been hitting people left right and Center with a normal pro v.

    I love the look of the 3s played them for years but I’m down under 108 mph these days (foot injury) so I’m a tsi2 guy these days. I dislike the look (for sure) but did you off camera but the 2 at all? What did you notice between 2/3 if you did him them?

    I’m highly interested in the TSR3 as the TSR2 is way to elongated complete turn off. In your opinion how’s the forgiveness on the TSR3? I currently game the cobra LTDx great driver , can you compare sound,feel and looks. Cheers .

    • @NewNineGolf
      @NewNineGolf  Год назад +1

      I can do exactly that because I also play the LTDx lol. The Titleist is louder off the face. In my session with the TSR3 it was VERY forgiving. I had some misses carrying 305 only 10 yards off my line.

    well i slept on it and i am torn still between the TSR1 or TSR2.......its driving me crazy...lol...i am unable to try them out so i have to build them online...swing speed of 88-94 mph and hit a fairly straight high spinning ball....9-11 handicap so I am still thinking the MITSUBISHI TENSEI BLUE AV 55 shaft for either one...part of me thinks the TSR1 is the way to go cause i am 58 and just getting older so my swing is bound to slow down BUT the other part of me wants to still grip it and rip it for distance....lol....first world problem here...lol....ahhhhhhhhhhh

    • @NewNineGolf
      @NewNineGolf  Год назад

      The only way to know for certain is to get fit. That likely doesn’t help you. If you want to reduce spin, with that swing speed the TSR2 is likely the best bet for you. If the shaft doesn’t work you can always trade/sell it. Hope it all works out.

    That's like 3-4 mph faster club speed.
    I might get to 120 mph with TSR4 as I'm currently around 116-119.5 mph with my gamer, the off the rack Z585 that half a mile extra for me is a big ask.
    I don't ever feel comfortable swinging a 460cc post box.

    • @NewNineGolf

      Ya the TSR4 does looks nice. I just kinda hit what they gave me. You can try out the footstomp too. I use that when I wanna squeeze out a couple extra mph. Lol. Check out our lesson series video. ruclips.net/video/Hqp-RLULP8c/видео.html

    I loved how the TSR3 felt and looked but the TSR2 was like cheating. I was hitting most of the balls a bit high and a bit heely and wasn't really loosing any ball speed at my fitting. I didn''t deserve to hit it 300 but I still was.
