I PLAYED PERSONA 3 RELOAD!
ruclips.net/video/YdYuVScHQn8/видео.html
You don’t have to play normal persona 5 you can play royal it just has another character same plot and a secret route. It actually has more than the original 😊
Yeahhh I got it mixed up with persona strikers in the reaction 😭 I was wondering why the gameplay was so different
@@Tuskthere is at least one element of surprise you gain from having played Vanilla before Royal, but yeah you can just play Royal. Will say it’s only downside for me is it makes the original battle theme from vanilla play only if you’re unable to ambush an enemy. Meaning you barely hear it, and it’s better than the new battle theme they put in Royal. The original battle theme, Last Surprise, perfectly fits the Acid Jazz theme of the whole Game’s soundtrack, while the new theme Takeover is more Rock/blues inspired. But that’s literally it, and that’s subjective as hell. Royal replaces Vanilla.
@@TheShockVox I think Last Surprise is a better music, but Take Over is a better battle theme.
@@TheShockVoxIf you're playing on PC you can just mod the OG battle theme back in
...or choose from any number of others, even. I loved the Kickback (Chainsaw Man OP) mod. It works extremely well with the vibe of the game
@@Tusksame with persona 4 golden. Just persona 3 portable being really different with it changing to point and click
It’s kinda funny how persona q2s opening had so much persona 5 you didn’t even realize it was a crossover game
😭
They could of had the three guys sitting on that chair together 🤣
Also in the video I meant to say I accidentally bought Strikers instead of Royal a couple of months ago and felt like I got scammed. Since strikers came out on switch before the normal persona 5 😭😂
lmaoo start with 3 the new one the play up to 5
strikers was the first persona game i played
Strikers is a sequel to P5R, so if you grab Royal and play one day, you’ll at least got the sequel! Lol
persona royal is the same is persona 5 just with more conetnet its kinda like pokemon emereald or platinum are better version of ruby saphire diamond and pearl
@@ma.2089Persona 5 Strikers and Persona 5 Royal were being developed at the same time, and Strikers is technically a sequel to the original Persona 5 game.
Kuma is Japanese for bear so in the japanese version thats his name. Hes called teddie in the English ver because naming him bear wouldn't make sense
Additionally Futaba in japanese is Navi, where in english shes Oracle
@@Animedingono relation to the other redheaded girl in the chair named Oracle
I spent more than 200 hours with persona 4 but after finding a way to install jp voice, persona 4 still makes me excited. 😊😊
Persona 5 royal is the improved version of Persona 5. You don’t need to play the OG since Royal is the same with added content.
Yeah I got that mixed up with strikers LMAO
Strikers/scrambles is the sequel to P5/P5Royal
I bought strikers by accident thinking it was royal a couple months back 😭😂
@@Tuskpain... strikers is alright tho. gameplay isn't my fave but the music slaps and the characters are great.
@@TuskTHAT LITERALLY HAPPEND TO ME LAST YEAR,, I ended up getting p5r in the end 😭
P4&p5 have a lot of spin offs, golden, royal, and p3 fes are rereleases with added content
P3 portable is another release that don't have some things from original game and fes but adds its own new content... And then p3 reload, remake that have some things from fes and portable but not everything, and adds its own new content.......
Persona 5 Royal is just the upgraded version of Persona 5 with DLC
The only persona games that are truly “connected” are Persona 1 and the Persona 2 Duology. From that point out, the only references you see between mainline games is small references (TV mentions, dialogue, and maybe a photo on rare occasions). So you could reasonably play 5,3, and 4 in that order and not miss any story.
In Persona 4 you come to a Persona 3 town and meet with some characters of P3. It is said it was after 2+ years after events of P3.
@@dencheqI played 4 right after 3 my first time, and getting to see the character I romanced on my first playthrough was pretty freaking cool. I never had a jrpg do any form of call backs like that before. It was Chihiro btw
P3’s events occur cuz of P1’s. P4 has a lot of direct references to P3. P5 is the least directly related, but does mention the old cast from P2-4
@@ma.2089 'P3’s events occur cuz of P1’s.' Could you tell about it?
@@dencheqThe Kirijo group is a subsidiary of the corporation run by Nanjo's family. IIRC the dark hour is a byproduct of the giant reality warping machine used in P1.
There's no way this mf uploaded a Persona opening reaction video and didn't include the Reload opening when it's been out for over 2 weeks now 😭
💀 you ain’t gotta clown my like that tho
I’ll drop another video on those two 😂
Persona 2 has so much openings cause it’s split into two games and two protags, it’s only really connected to 1 though the rest of the persona games the games have new stories but have small references to eachother it’s fun lmao
Sounds pretty cool! I can’t wait to play reload 👀
“How many Persona games even are there?!” Yes.
“What is Persona even about?” I don’t think we even know anymore 😅
Amazing reaction dude, your personality really adds a lot!
Btw, you already said that you will react to Reload an tactica later, i would recomend you to react to the anime openings to, theres some really good ones.
Will do! Thank you 🔥
Non spoilers!!
Persona 3 has multiple editions that add little things. But Reload isn't a bad place to start.
Makoto - ( headphone guy MC ) he is moving to port island to go to highschool ( 2nd year ) but on his way to the dorm he enters the Dark Hour ( a hidden hour between one day and the next, only those with Persona talent or have a closeness to the ability can walk around no coffins ). He then signs a contract and . . .
That's where the intro stops.
Persona 4 - ( golden is the best edition so far ) a boy name Yu Narukami goes from the big city to the country and transfers highschools. A murder soon happens with the body hanging on an TV antenna, so Yu and his crew enter the TV world to fight Shadows and find the murder. ( Basically like Jojo Part 4 / Scooby Doo )
Persona 5 - ( Royal is the best edition) Ren saves a woman from a drunk politician and is sued then forced to move to a new place, he is hated by most everyone for his record and ends up forming a team to change society and stop evil adults.
You do not have to play them in order, also you do not have to play all the side games to get the story.
The long nosed goblin is Igor, he assists the heroes in each Persona game by fusing Personas with his attendants ( aka Elizabeth in Reload/base 3 as an example ).
the gun from p3 or better known as an evoker essentially causes the experience of death which creates the stimuli requiered to summon your persona
Just to let you know you did miss Tactica and Reload
the comp he watched came out before those were announced lmaooo
Yeaaahhhhh I’ll make another video for thiose two 😭😂
@@greencircle2063 i know i just thought id inform of the the missing 2
Thank you!
The dancing games are actually pretty good. P3 & and p5 are on ps4. The p4 one is a bit harder to get, and it released on the vita and got a ps4 digital download if you bought the special addition of p3&5 dancing all night. However, the persona 4 dancing game is actually canon, and takes place after 4
34:09 is this tactica? Yeah this is tactica
30:45 is this reload? Yeah this is reload 😂
LMAO ALSO W PFP
Even if you accidentally bought strikers trust me, after you play P5R you’ll need to play strikers and both will feel more than worth it.
5:45 funny coincidence, but there are several characters in persona 2 and 5 called Joker for completely unrelated reasons....
It is more because Persona 5 was in reality an 25th Anniversary game.
Hence it borrowed a LOT from previous games. Even first ones.
- Palaces and metaverse bleeding into reality is a throwback to Persona 1 when the WHOLE story is basically one big "Palace" heist.
- "Joker" name and power of rumours spreading creating new paths (allowing team to dive deeper into Mementos) - Persona 2
- Mementos Superdungeon - Tartarus 2.0 courtesy of Persona 3.
- A whole Palace story arc which is just one giant throwback to Persona 4 themes of "facing the truth".
Persona 5 Royal is just the rerelease of normal Persona 5 with a bunch of extra shit added and some minor changes from the original. The combat is a little too easy for a lot of players, me included, but it's still a great game.
So allow me to explain how the games link.
There is no confirmation from Atlas about this other than what is in the games.
But Persona 1 is a game connected to SMT IF which was a spin off of the original SMT timeline where the world wasn’t destroyed.
Persona 1 references IF and Persona 2 Innocent Sin has characters from 1 making it the same timeline as 1 and IF
In persona 2 Eternal Punishment you are in a new timeline from Innocent Sin, but the main villain in all of these are NYX goddess of night and calamity, in 3 the world is closer to ending than ever so you gotta deal with her for good.
In 4 it references the events, locations, and characters from 3 linking them.
In 5 royal you can access a poster of a character from 4 confirming that 3-4-5 all take place in one timeline. However, there is nothing confirming that timeline is the same as Innocent Sins or Eternal Punishment’s timelines aside from the defeat and sealing of NYX in 3.
Hope this helps to further confuse everyone.
Thank you for the lore explanation! Made me want to get into SMT to get a little bit of an understanding of the play style until Reload!
Person 5 royal is a definitive edition not a sequel so you don't have to feel scammed just play it instead of og 5
I got royal mixed up with strikers in the video 😭
Persona 1, 2 Innocent Sin and 2 Eternal Punishment ( yes there's two 2's, plot reasons) connect and play alot differently then 3, 4, and 5. 3,4 and 5 are all independent, so outside of some easter eggs, you can pick any of them to start with.
In Persona 3, its not a real gun, but as real as they can get. The idea is that the real feeling if it will momentarily trick the user into thinking they are actually about to die, thus triggering that moment of death adrenaline to summon the personas.
Lol you think the butterfly is a good thing. Well its not a bad thing, but dont worry about it.
Morgana is the cutest thing ever. No discussions allowed.
I don't know if it was said or if you figured it out through context. BUT! these openings are based on release order for the games! I think it would have made more sense if whoever made this compilation organized it by game instead of release
Also with the power ranger looking things they are actually called Feathermen! It's a reference to super sentai which is where power rangers comes from!
The gun in Persona 3 isn't actually a gun, it's called an Evoker. It creates the sensation of being shot with a gun to force an adrenaline rush that causes the Persona to be evoked. Also, Kuma and Teddie are the same person, it's just a matter of which region it's played in. Japanese versions of Persona 4 have him named as Kuma, while American and European versions have him named as Teddie.
Ohhh thank you! The name really threw me off 😂
persona 3: teens shoot themselves to release their true selves to try to fix acompany's mistake
persona 4: teens go into a tv to try to solve a murderer case
persona 5: bunch of teens change corrupted adults' hearts by riping off masks.
Atlus also has the Shin Megami Tensei, Devil Summoner, Trauma Center, and Catherine along with a number of other games
5:45 "He's reminding me of Joker a little bit. Not the Joker y'all thinking about."
Bro's got a copy of the script good lord.
There’s a lot of rereleases and spin-off in this series. Don’t worry about canon too much
Im defenitely late but still. Ive also started with Persona 5 Strikers when it was free in the xbox game pass. I understood nothing of what was going on, like who are those characters, what are they talking about. I legit just skipped dialogue and got straight into fighting and the fighting mechanics were overwhelming me. I just dropped the game, despite loving the game in terms of the art style and sound track (also a friend told me to play Royal first). This was like 2 years ago. However, recently i just finished Persona 5 Royal. My favorite game of all time, straight up. And yesterday i started playing strikers. Its a whole diferent world, you ser it with diferent eyes, you apreciate everything. The remixes of the original songs, the characters getting back together. Makes you smile across your face. The only JRPG games i played was the Pokemon series and i dont even like anime, and i loved everything about persona 5 Royal, if you like anime and JRPGS, you about to get mesmerized. Play the game :D
17:41 is the psp port of Persona 2 Innocent Sin and 21:15 Persona 2 Eternal Punishment these game are Part 1 and Part 2 of a whole story.
Ohhhh okay! Thank you!
LETS GOOOO
cant speak for 1-2 cus i havent played those but
3. you are a student at gekkogan high, with the special ability to summon personas, now you must traverse the dark hour (a hidden hour between 12-1) and find a way to get rid of it for good, before more shadows attack people within the dark hour
4. you are a student to had to move to the rural town of inaba, where mysterious killings take place and the police can't seem to solve them. now it is up to you and your friends to explore the midnight channel and find out the truth behind these serial murders before more people fall victim
5. you are a student who had to move to tokyo due to some... criminal offense. Here you awaken to your powers as a persona user while trying to change the hearts of rotten adults (i.e. corrupt/evil adults) alongside others like you, all while living the life of a regular high schooler
the 3 games tackle stuff like personas and such differently, along with the reason they come into being (dark hour VS midnight channel VS mementos)
fun fact: between the 3 games, only persona 5 didnt have the characters use real weapons, due to the way mementos works
Danggg 4’s story seems kind of WILD
Persona and Persona 2 was more known in Japan. Only realesed for psp version. Eternal punishment was realised in english but i think was a bad decision since its the second part of persona 2.
>Persona Opening Reaction
>mentions Reload
>Where is Reload Opening?
Royal is technically the better version of 5
Are you planning to react to persona 3 reload opening or when the game releases?
You wanna talk about "crossover hype" - 34:58 made folks go _nuts_
If you are gonna play Persona 5 you should play Persona 5 The Royal, it is all the content of the vanilla version but enhanced and including a whole new semester to cover, is the definitive version to enjoy Persona 5.
Sounds good!! I’ll play it after I’m done with reload when it releases!
😂When he say igor is Mr.goblin
When he says imagine they do that and they don't get back up
The end of persona 3: mc/femc
Loving Kanji cause he looks like he's bout the smoke is great, he's definitely my favourite of 4's cast
Yeah Kanji really looks like he’ll throw some HANDS
P3, P3P and P3R are just PEAK
Yessir
23:59
What is persona iven about?
*The shadow world*
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax are fighting game!
The goofiest thing abt persona 3 is that is in fact a real ass gun. Mans just got a glock on him.
Nahhhh 😭😭😭
I can’t tell if the video title means “The is FIRE” or “This is LIT”
Edit: Right after posting I hear “This is fire though” 😂
"What other games has Atlus worked on?" Uhhh... How much time do you have?
Ok, quick misconception that I feel needs to be addressed. Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal are not different games. They are the same game. Think of it like this. Persona 5 is the theatrical release, while Persona 5 Royal is the director's cut.
Yeahhhh I got persona royal and strikers mixed up in the video. What I meant to say was I bought strikers thinking it was royal because it wasn’t on switch yet 😭
Bro bought persona 5 (with extra content) and said he got scammed cuz he thought he bought persona 5 (no extra content)
yeah p5r is just you can say the definitive edition of p5 it adds a secret story at the end that the og does not have and some more so it's actually good that you bought it and you should probably play p3 reload
Yeahhh I meant to say I accidentally got persona 5 strikers 😭
why is everyone reacting to persona openings lately watching this specific complication that's missing tactica and reload or any of the anime openings
Yeahhhh I’ll watch those two in a separate video I thought they were in there at first 😭
Persona 5 royal is the definitive edition of the game. Not a spin off or something. It’s the original game with some extra content sprinkled in
Bro royal is literally persona 5 but with postgame after the main game included. Its not a sequel
I got royal mixed up with strikers in the video
@@Tusk Ahh, that makes way more sense
You should just play Royal. No real reason not to over the base game. Just more story. It still has the base game there, that you'll have to go through.
Yo you got answered at 24 min lol she told you
Bro you forgot persona 5 Tactica and persona 3 reload openings ⚰️
I was wondering why they weren’t in there 😭 I’ll react to them separately
Persona 3 portable’s op is my favorite
Persona 5 royal is the same as persona 5 with all the dlc pre installed and with more characters voiced lines and an extra dungeon
Was shin megami tensei 5 a bad game???
I was thinking of making a little side series while waiting for persona 3 reload. I know persona 5 is way too long 😂
It did get a pretty mixed reception because of its bad level scaling and rushed story but it looks amazing, has great music and is overall fun to play so I recommend it
Good gameplay and music but a mediocre story. It's not a bad game really
Depends. I love it.
One thing to keep in mind is that, it's not Persona.
Here's a little recurring meme:
*A bit spoilery:*
Persona: join your friends to kill demons.
Shin Megami Tensei: join with demons to kill your friends.
@@linustg Ah I see so I might just play SMT 3 instead
what about the anime openings
Persona 2 is a duology actually, so it's 2 games (Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment)
It's got the BEST story and writing but easily the weakest combat
When you realize how out of place P4D was after everything else 😭😂
It really threw me off 😂😭
I REACTED TO THE PERSONA 3 RELOAD TRAILER
HERE
ruclips.net/video/d6xL0TviLTc/видео.html
Persona 5 royal is the definitive way to play the game considering all the gameplay improvements they’ve made. Play Persona 5 Royale over persona 5
Gameplay is debatable. P5’s story is vastly improved by Royal at least
I gives you this to make sense for Persona timeline .
"Multiverse exist in persona and shin megami tensei universe"
Bruh how u got scammed for buying a better version of persona 5?
As a persona fan if you want to get into the series this is the order i'd play
Must Plays (in order):
Persona 4 Golden (Deluxe Version of Persona 4. why 4 before 3? Once you go modern its hard to go back to older games)
Persona 3 Reload (Deluxe Version of Persona 3, and Persona 3 FES and Portable are skippable although both have unofficial side content loved by the fandom)
Persona 5 Royal (Deluxe version of Persona 5)
If you want to play the underrated og's:
-Persona 2 Innocent Sin PSP (Playstation Portable)
-Persona 2 Eternal Punishment PSP
-Persona 1 PSP
Bonus (Extra content):
if you want to play more persona 5 content:
-Strikers (Unofficial Continuation of Persona 5)
-Tactica (Spinoff from the events of Persona 5)
If you want to play rhythm games:
-Persona 3-5 Dancing Games
If you want to play Street Fighter Esque game:
-Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (Deluxe version of Arena)
-Crossover games for fans
-Persona Q (Persona 3 and 4 crossover)
-Persona Q2 (Persona 3, 4, and 5 Crossover)
persona 5 royal is persona 5 but the better version
Persona games are always about supernatural and kinda parallel worlds. 1, 2 are really old, 3 got Reload version with Persona 5 graphics. None of Persona games are connected by story. P1 and 2 are in one universe, P3 and P4 are in one universe.
Persona 5 Royal is Persona 5 with expended content like more dialogues, more characters etc.
If you didn't like P5 you won't probably like P3 Reload but who knows.
All the persona games are in the same universe, aside from some split timeline/time travel shenanigans. The stories don't cross over much but they have a shared continuity outside of branching timelines.
@@asahinainu it means they are actually in different universes. P1/P2 and P3/P4.
P3 is in the same universe as P1 and P2. The events of P2:IS were erased from the timeline but the events of P1 and P2:EP are canon history to P3. Its mentioned in game that the Kirijo group used to be part of the Nanjo group. Also P5 has continuity to P4. Akechi got the idea for his cover story from the Naoto's career, and posters for some sort of media work starring Rise are all over the subways. Like I said the stories dont overlap much but it is roughly one continuity, barring outliers like EP and FemC. The events od 1,2,3 and 4 are all parts of 5s history.
@@asahinainu Nanjo is just a name. It can be easly viewed as just reference and easter egg. In Persona 3 MMO teacher social link, she talks about Persona 2 game with Tasuya and Maya as main characters.
Maybe in Persona 5 Royal there is smth added stuff (I haven't played) cause in Persona 5 Vanilla I don't remember anything about previous Persona games at all. Maybe only poster of Rise but I'm not sure.
Nah can't agree with that. P1/P2 is one universe. P3/4/5 is another.
@@dencheq Theres references all over the place even in base P5. Both explicit references and implied.
