  • Hi guys! In today's video, we are sharing with you our recipe for the most delicious Haitian black rice, which is a traditional dish in our culture and one of our family favorites!
    INGREDIENTS
    - One cup of Djon Djon (dried mushrooms) * must be cleaned to remove dirt
    - Four cups of jasmine rice (we used Madame Gougousse rice)
    - Four cups of water
    - One bag of frozen green peas
    - Thyme
    - Parsley
    - Canola oil (or any oil of your choice)
    - Epis
    - Tomatoes
    - Maggi cubes (we made ourselves)
    - Goya seasoning
