My grandmother had a farm, used to sell her fruits and vegetables to supermarkets in town. Her garden well couldn’t call it a garden bc flowers were everywhere but the outside of her home was like this. I miss her so much. She had 11 kids and I’ve never seen someone work as hard as she did and the only thing she ever bought from the grocery store was peanut butter and her meats and her coffee. Everything else was grown or traded with local farmers. I so miss those days. Yes it’s hard work but so rewarding.

Grandpa is having fun driving all over the places in his newly acquired van. The orange-and-white kitten likes to hide in the clay pot, which he doesn't care to share with the black-and-white rabbit. The grey kitten watches grandma prepare the mackerels for smoking until he falls asleep. I love the new smoking set of barrels that looks shiny and smart. The beautiful cows graze peacefully in the shade while grandpa's tea is boiling. The bird catches a little mouse, it'll be the bird's lunch. Grandpa and grandma sit down to enjoy delicious freshly smoked mackerels with bread and potato. What a good life!

Grandpa is having fun driving all over the places in his newly acquired van. The orange-and-white kitten likes to hide in the clay pot, which he doesn't care to share with the black-and-white rabbit. The grey kitten watches grandma prepare the mackerels for smoking until he falls asleep. I love the new smoking set of barrels that looks shiny and smart. The beautiful cows graze peacefully in the shade while grandpa's tea is boiling. The bird catches a little mouse, it'll be the bird's lunch. Grandpa and grandma sit down to enjoy delicious freshly smoked mackerels with bread and potato. What a good life!
