Tom, this is one of my favorite channels to watch. I have 40 plus years in the oil field, and I think you and your guys work harder on a daily basis. I know nothing about laying concrete, but I do about hard work! Keep up the good work and please thank your daughter for keeping the videos coming!
Wow, thank you!
Tom, I really like how you lead from the front on these jobs. With the GREAT crew you have, that leadership really shows and inspires. You’re not afraid to get in there with the guys. Love the channel. 👍
I like to watch time lapse of prep and pouring.
A lot of added value to the homeowner. Broken stone steps always my favorite. When are y'all going on vacation? It's time.
Your crew should be called POURFESSIONALS. They finish each job so well. Amazing how the stamping improves the end product👍👍👍
You know I love the rolled slate 👍💯❤️
Moin und Hallo Freunde des Betons tolles und lehrnhaltiges Video wünsche euch Gesundheit und nach getaner arbeit einen erholsamen Feierabend 👍🏻👍🏻👏👏💪🏾😎😎👋👋☀️☀️
Very nice. Way better than the paver look.
I've noticed before that you have an excellent eye for catching low spots or other issues with the grade or concrete surface. Not everyone has that talent and way too many don't even check. Great attention to detail sir
Awesome job, Haus's
I’m really liking these latest POV videos. Keep them coming Tom.
Wow what a difference on that patio, nice work as always
Thanks Mike you know I really do enjoy these types of projects
Awesome work and looking forward to the next job!!
Great job Tom, really like the broken stone edging, and rounded corners, difference between plain old slabs and elegant looking art, with the stamping - beautiful. O btw i ask you about jitterbugging the slabs, why i see no one seems to be using them today, although they still sell them; i missed your answer, the thinking back when i was contracting, was you wanted a cement paste on top to get a good finish. What is the reason you do not use them ? Thanks 💯💯🙏
Great Work 🤝👍
Good job using what was already there and making it new 👍 Beautiful work 😊
GOOOOOD
MAAAAAAAAWNIN EVERYONE FROM
BACK HOME IN VIRGINIA BEACH!!….Nice work as usual Tom & guyz….looking forward to watching this project to the end.
Keep
Up the great work 🤙🏻
Have a day 😊
Y0u are right about a rolled slate patio, it looks so good.
You even make the 'easy" jobs look easier!
Looks like the paver contractor didn't account for the foundation overdig when the house was built. Guessing the patio was constructed soon after the build and they didn't excavate the overdig and fill with compacted stone. Will always settle like that if not properly prepped.
Perfect, as usual.
Great job men! I have a two step to pour.
Great job !! ❤❤❤❤
In the window of my building the wasps had a big nest where the screen fits in. I thought I showed have walked around the building the other way but I was stupid. As soon as I stepped by the nest, which was taller than me one came off the nest and stung me right behind my left ear. For it was a perfect hit, not so much for me. I'm allergic to them but as long as the stinger is out, I'm okay. That patio looks so much better and the way it was before not the best way to go.
Attention attention clean up on presidential aisle 46
I have been pouring through your videos the last couple of months preparing to do some smaller stamp jobs on my own. Man you guys make something very difficult look so easy!! I bought the exact slate rollers you use but on my practice I find that when it's dry to the touch on my fingers and I spray on the release to the concrete and roller, it seems to make the top wet and want's to pull and leave ripples in the finish. How do you tell when it's time to put the release on and start the rolling to get that beautiful texture you get?
Try slowing the rollers down
I was a concrete contractor in Chicago back when we poured we had to pour 5 yards a day 😅 is it still the same ??? Set frame and pour and strip
So what do you do with The old concrete you rip out? Is there a dump that takes it? Can it be recycled?
I wish they were close to me I would pay good money for that kind of fill!
Love the series but the editing needs checking as the pouring was done after the broken stone was done!!!!!!! Can get a tad confusing when watching it!!!!!!
Unfortunately when you get older you will be feeling the ankles when it is a little bit dampness.
