Heck yeah you're doing borders!! Your customers are watching your videos and seeing how the border accentuates the pour. I especially like the border a bit darker than the rest. It just beautifies the entire pour. Put the broken stone on the edges and it turns into a work of art! I can only imagine the sense of pride your customers have when having friends and family over for an evening out on the patio. I remember ine pour y'all did that was on a mega million dollar estate, that had exposed aggregate borders along the driveway and parking area. Ive seen some really beautiful pours over the past 4 years on this channel. I've not seen anything like your work around here in NC. Homeowners here need to be watching your channel and start a demand for artistic pours here. I've seen magnificent homes around here w plain, i mean plain concrete. What a shame. The concrete guys here need to be watching your channel too. They're all missing out!!! Thanks Tom for sharing your awesome daily routines w us. I love this channel!!👍❤️🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲

Good afternoon, Tom. Being from western PA, your 95° is made worse by the humidity that goes along with. Now living in Southern Utah where our temps are running around 110° but with humidities in the single digits to low teens. When we built our house all the concrete pours started around 4am to beat the heat. As always, your work looks great!

I like the heat but I wish it was gradual in heating up. Going from 40 degrees in the morning to 90 by noon is hard to adapt to. I was a millwright for a few years. Coveralls, hard hat, boots and gloves and working above a boiler was the worst experience I’ve had. 😅 It can always be worse. 😊 Retired now so I can pick and choose what I do in the hot weather.

Hi Tom, keep on keeping on with the emphasis of your videos on your methods and quality of work. Granted other RUclipsrs show more of the drama of their daily operations but your calmness is your niche. Maybe you could show more interactions with the property owners, concrete truck drivers and supply yard employees to make your videos a little more interesting which may drive up your subscribers.
P.S. what type of aggregate do you use that you usually don’t need to compact.

Hello Tom. The city will be replacing the sidewalk in front of my Hause because city workers incorrectly planted an Oak tree 20 years ago and the roots have pushed the sidewalk up, breaking it and creating a trip hazard. If they add Calcium to the concrete mix, will that shorten the drying time so that it can be driven on in 24 hours or so? That is what they told me they would do. We are currently having temperatures in the mid to upper 90's now. The length is about 45 feet. I'd rather that you guys do the work, but I am in Georgia. Have good days!
