Yes you could try out different things: 1) Play around with the position of your lower arm/hand - you can either support your head with it or extend your arm all the way down to the ground and see what works best for you. 2) You could either double the mat or place something soft (a blanket or pillow) underneath your hips. 3) You could also try bending your lower leg a bit, but keeping the top leg straight, this can also help support your hip. 4) Minimize the movement of your legs - with these side walks you can just move your legs a little bit forward and back, you don't have to do the full range of motion! 5) Activate your core even more and bring your weight more into your bottom arm. 6) Move your bottom leg slightly forward towards the front corner of your mat.
