I’ve recently started having really low energy and haven’t had motivation to workout or go for walks. But the variety of workout videos that Natalie has to offer keeps me able to do some form of exercise/stretching multiple times a week. Her Pilates videos are the only true intermediate/expert level videos out there. Most other Pilates videos seem like they are for beginners or not true Pilates. The variety in her videos (length of video or focus on body parts) really gives me an option everyday to exercise depending on my mood/energy.

HI Nathalie, I join your classes a few weeks ago and I have already done about 6 different ones from 30 minute to one hour. I really enjoy them! I like the simple way you give instructions with your gentle voice, just enough not more, and I enjoy the great warm up and cool down. I hope to find new ones to challenge myself. I do pilates 7 days a week and it helps me so much to strenghten my bones and articulation. Thank you!!

I struggled a bit with the planks near the end but I followed through! This is my longest workout in months! I really enjoyed how you coupled intense moves with breath work and made into some sort of yoga flow. Thank you ❤

Love all your videos! I have a question regarding form in the side lying position. I find it uncomfortable on my hip even with some padding under my side. I can't get my legs up very high--and it feels like a pinching sensation in my pubic area. Do you have any tips? Are you supposed to be right on the hip? I'd say I'm intermediate level, flexibility is not an issue except for this posture. Thank you!!
Hello Mirsten, I'm soo happy you are enjoying my workouts, it means a lot 🙏🏼 Okay, so if the padding underneath your hips doesn't help too much I would suggest you try out one or a few of the following things depending on what works best for you: 1) Play around with the position of your lower arm/hand - you can either support your head with it or extend your arm all the way down to the ground and see what works best for you. 2) You could also try bending your lower leg a bit, but keeping the top leg straight, this can also help support your hip. 3) Minimize the movement of your legs - with side walks f.e. you can just move your legs a little bit forward and back, you don't have to do the full range of motion! 4) Activate your core even more and bring your weight more into your bottom arm. 5) Move your bottom leg slightly forward towards the front corner of your mat.
And regarding your question whether you should be right on the hip - you can play around a just a little bit with the position of your hip, but it should be in line with your shoulder for the perfect alignment. You know some poses are not for everyone, as we all have different body types and thats okay. If none of these above tips are helpful for you, you can switch the side exercises on your hip to the side kneeling exercises. These are a bit more difficult, but can take some pressure off your hip 🤗

Yes absolutely! If you do workouts like these (especially moving your body in a way that you love and that also challenges you) several times a week, combined with a healthy lifestyle, wholesome food and the right mindset, you will definitely achieve the goals you set for yourself 😊💪🏼
