Hey yogis, you guys keep asking for more 10 minute yoga classes so I'm serving up a good one today. :) Here's a brand new 10 minute morning yoga stretch, great to do when you've just gotten out of bed. I also snuck in a bit of strengthening yoga poses in here to give you the boost of energy you need most in the early hours of the day.
No props necessary for this class but if you have a block at home you can always grab it to make some poses more accessible. This is a full body morning yoga stretch that will target all the aches and pains you may have accumulated during the night. Enjoy!

Never! I feel the ten minute ones are the best. I'm at high school, so they are good to do when I get in. Could you maybe try a scoliosis specific yoga stretching 10 min video? I have scoliosis S curve and I'm trying to find good yoga for it.

I love the 10 min morning wake ups but I could definitely use some morning or night time yoga related to acid reflux, low back, or hips. Keeping up the positivity in the morning is also a struggle I have, affirmations with a 10 minute morning yoga would be awesome. I appreciate you and all that you do. ♡

My intention: “thy will be done”. If you’re implementing these in your daily routine just know you are doing GREAT for yourself. Being human is hard but being a good human and still showing up is even harder. Self compassion goes a long way. Take care out there, I’ll be praying ❤️

Today was day 12 of me doing 10 minutes Yoga in the morning with you and I love it soo much!
I really gives me a sense of accomplishment for the rest of the day. Even if I don't manage to be productive that day or do my longer Yoga session in the afternoon, I always know I did something for myself that day. Especially with my depression weighing me down at the moment this is a really big thing for me! My two words to day were "peacefull brain". Because it's often difficult for me and intrudes on the things I want to do in the day.

My word was “appreciate”. This popped into my head as I’m doing yoga, looking out the window at the snow falling in October with my daughter nearby.
We got lots of October snow here in upper Michigan too! :)
This was my first time trying yoga and it was a little challenging BUT I didn't know that I could do all that while being a beginner :000. My plan is to do this yoga every Saturday and Sunday before going on my morning walk 🙌🏻❤️

I have done this 2-3 times a week for more than 2 years now, and I love it! Couldn’t imagine not having this as a part of my routine ❤️
You do this yoga stretch 2-3 times a week but you also can't imagine it being part of your routine? What is the meaning of this exactly? What about the days where you don't do this (which is apparently 4-5 times a week)? Can you not imagine it on those days? What's going on here? Why do you decieve us in such a manner?

It was the same for me, I am used to martial arts so this was very, very different and difficult to calm my mind down and figure out what the heck I was doing. I eventually got the hang of it, keep going and you'll get it. And it will be worth it.

I revisit so many of Kassandra's videos. They are an amazing way to start the day.
Ran through it a bit quick, for someone who didn't know the poses. I found I had the strength, but really struggled with flexibility. Hopefully doing this regularly will help 😊

Usually I choose the word “productive,” but this time I chose completion. Sometimes I don’t realize until the end of my day that I was productive, just within the wrong areas! I need to have completion of all the tasks

Word that came to mind was “committed”. I have a few personal “passion” projects I’m working on and they take a big chunk of my time during the day but it’s what I love doing so I’m hoping I stay motivated to finish them.

My go to is always productive haha takes time unlearning this societal pressure to be productive, i change to accomplish so that i feel accomplished. But passion is such a perfect word to choose :)
