Love seeing how you zip through coreldraw. I’m using Inkscape which has similar features but as a novice I spend way too much time trying to figure out how to do something than actual designing. Like the look of mirrored acrylic.
Awesome reviews! Keep them coming! Because of that my husband(business partner) approved the purchase of this great piece of machinery! And we used your referral link.
Love your videos! I know you probably get this question a million times a day but I looked in the description and couldn’t find the answer. Which Glowforge are you using? The Pro? If so have you cut any very large materials with it? I would love to get a Glowforge eventually but probably wouldn’t be able to afford much more than the basic.
@@TroytheMaker hi Troy! Thanks for your quick reply! Really appreciate it. Glad to know you’re using the basic since that will be the one I will be getting once I’m able. Thanks for all the hard work you do with your videos.... you are really good at explaining things and showing things in a way everyone can understand, so THANK YOU!😊
Bro great video again. I've watched all your videos and learn so much each time. What version did f Coreldraw are you using. I'm using inkscape but really don't like it. Looking at getting Coreldraw. Again great video
Awesome videos brother!! I love your videos, very informative. I’m waiting for my Plus to arrive next Tuesday so I’m trying to learn as much as possible and your videos help a lot!! Would you entertain the idea of doing lessons via FaceTime or anything for a price? I feel I would really benefit from that. Thanks and be safe!
Hi Troy! thank you for your awesome videos. One question for you. I bought the mirrored acrylic from the Inventables, it comes with a clear mask, is that ok to put in the Glowforge or it has to be covered with a matte mask? Also, do you put the mirrored part facing up or down? Thank you!
@@TroytheMaker you are the best! thank you so much. Keep creating cool stuff. I love it all. I'm new on the Glowforge world and you are super helpful. Take care!
Thanks for stating the size of the material used here 1/8 for example .. I’m binge watching your videos and I just asked in another video about acrylic sizes and etc. you’re always 6 Step’s ahead thanks!!

I need some jewelry made bro
Shoot me a email to troythemaker@gmail.com
Can you use this machine with silver? I’m trying to get some custom silver pendants done 🤔
You can engrave on silver, but not cut sliver.
So in illustrator isn’t that offset paths?
I don’t know to be honest. I don’t know to much about illustrator.
Can glowforge cut 1/4 inch piece of acrylic ?
Yes. It can cut up to 1/2” thick.
Can you make a video on how to use software
I know just enough. Search Doug Green he makes a lot of video tutorials using Corel draw.
Yessss
Thanks.

Thanks a Million! I have a Glowforge Basic. With the Pro you can work with larger pieces, but not with the basic or plus. Hope this helps.

I use Coreldraw 2020 subscription base. It's like $200 a year.
@@TroytheMaker Great that's what I was looking at. Thanks for the reply. Have a great day!
Hi love you videos do it cuts jewelry and engrave jewelry
Depends on the material. It will not cut metals like gold, silver, or stainless steel.
Hello, I am thinking to buy glowforge but I want to know if you can make sandal?
I pretty sure you could if it is designed right. That is an incredible project idea. Mine if I borrow it? Haha
Hi what software are you using to edit the design? It looks different from the gf app. Also I purchase a Fr 3 weeks ago using your code 😃
I use coreldraw.
Love this! What Glowforge do you have and how long did it take to print these?
Thanks a Million! I have a basic. It took less than five minutes to cut out.
