    Without a doubt, the RAM Rebel is my truck of choice for what I call "war road heritage." But I would never pay that price; it's freakishly expensive!

    I just ordered an AT4 GMC 3500. Less than 79k. Yes mine is a gas. But I could upgrade to a diesel for less than 10k, I prefer gas since I live in N. MN and fuel gelling up here is not uncommon. I also don't tow over mountains so I'll stick with gas. It seems as if Dodge is stepping away from gas being an option with their HD's????
    Also the ride of my 3500 GMC is second to none. Gives me everything I want. I'll stick with GM. Loving the AT4!!!

    Congratulations Ram you knocked it out of the park! I never would have thought they could make a 3/4 ton diesel with lower payload than the Megacab. Buuuuut they did🤣 on the positive side umm at least it stopped snowing!🇺🇸💪

    Most people I follow including dealers say don’t buy a vehicle til at least Q3 or Q4. Prices will come down.

    Build a Rebel with the Hemi. On the Canadian website it still shows a 10,000lb GVWR, but diesel it shows the 9680.

    Less than 2000 lbs payload, that’s maybe a 6000 lbs - 8000 lbs 5th wheel. Bumper pull looks like the way to go with the 2500 Cummins

    I could hear the frustration in your voice when you seen the 9680 GVWR 🤣.
    I don’t understand Ram at all. Ford to my knowledge doesn’t limit the diesel Tremor in anyway. We will see what Chevy does with the ZR2, although it’s a clear step up in off road capability from this. This to me is pretty much an appearance package like the AT4, all but limited due to the diesel. That’s crazy.

    Winch, front locker, sway bar disconnect, articulink front suspension are standard on the power wagon.

      I can't quite figure out why they made the 2500 Cummins Rebel... the spec with the highest tow/payload capacity (2500 Rebel) is the Hemi... Power Wagon all day, every day!

    Just crazy pricing I love ram trucks but I got my 2022 gmc 2500 quad cab for 51000 it’s not diesel but has more then enough towing for 97% of people unless your driving/towing 30000 miles plus a year it does not make sense to buy the diesel. I have a 2017 ram 2500 with for when we tow our camper across the country on trips but I wouldn’t be afraid to use the gmc as it is more then capable truck to do the job. With all emissions things on people really need to go back to the gas trucks cheaper everything with almost same towing capabilities who works

    I do love the look of that truck for some reason. Things I do like- Color, mirrors, hood, wheels & tires, Cummins in an off-road/overlander type set up., and the overall interior is great.
    Things I don’t like- GVWR is ridiculous, I prefer the analog gauge cluster from Ram but I haven’t seen the new gauge cluster in person, and 91k for this truck??? Someone at Ram started smoking crack. This shouldn’t be over 75k IMO.

    Need the rear locker in my 2023 longhorn edition. Will figure this out. I Have installed an ARB locker for the front.
    This Rebel is competition with the Ford Tremor Diesel

    If you need a car, $300,000 for a Ferrari or a Lamborghini is ridiculous compared to a Prius or Altima, or anything else in that category, but it doesn’t seem that those automakers are going out of business. If you need a work truck, $90,000 is ridiculous, but Ram, Ford, or GM would not build these vehicles if they couldn’t sell them. There is a huge demand. There are customers for every price range of car or truck. The perfect vehicle for anyone is the one they can afford and does everything they need it to. So buy a Ram Tradesmen or Ford XL, get the diesel, and it can do anything the Rebel can do, and the people who can afford $100,000 for a truck will buy the Rebel, Denali, and the King Ranch. This is called the free market economy.

    To me It feel like the lower towing rate is to keep the total gvw under 26k for CDL requirements. Truck a little heavier. so towing is lowered to compensate....to stay under 26k... Which Reminds me why there's not very many 16k trailers and more 14k trailers and also why I never will buy a dually to tow with. Sense the gross of truck is a couple grand higher which mean the trailer now has to be a ton lighter to stay under a combined total of 26k. I'm wa state I wouldn't be able to tow my mini. With a dually because of the added gvw of the truck compared to a normal truck would make a 14k gvw trailer plus the truck greater then 26k... Couldn't even haul the trailer empty. I feel like a lot of gvw and max towing takes that into consideration.....but who know I could be way off in left field also

    It's a nice looking truck, but inflation or not; it's way too much money for what it is. I paid a lot less than what they want for that Rebel in 2018 for a new 2500 Laramie with a Cummins. I was comfortable paying what I paid too. That price... not so much.

    Man Ram is going to be offering STEEP discounts in the future to move trucks. With the economy cooling and interest rates rising that 90k truck is going to sit.

      100%. They are going to struggle tremendously this year with major refreshes from the competition. And here they are soldiering on with basically the 2010 model year HD design.
      Being the cheapest option has been why Ram has been popular. I think now they are the most expensive with the oldest truck.

    Why, Why, I mean really, why would anyone buy a diesel 2500 that has payload less than some 1/2 tons. It makes no sense, unless you just want to drive around in your high dollar Diesel truck looking cool, kind of. And I thought the Ram TRX and Ford Raptor were the ultimate poser trucks, maybe this one has grabbed the crown. Not really hating on the Truck, but really more on RAM for not rating their 2500 trucks to have acceptable payload, because there are buyers who dont look at these things, all they see is 2500, Diesel and figure it will pull their 40ft fifth wheel. Great video BTW showing facts.

    5000 more for more power, is worth it to me. But I'm happy with my 2017 cummins. You need to, also think. A truck that is more then 55,000 dollars is way to much. And truth be told, if your going to spend 90 k on a truck. It better be bad ass as hell just FYI

    I don't understand why you would get this truck with the diesel can't get the tow hook, no payload, can't tow what a Cummins is capable of, I don't get it, maybe longevity. If I were to get this out would be the 6.4 hemi more payload and a ridiculous statement of being able to tow more

      How is a game changer? All it has is a rear diff locker with a Cummins. You can get a Super Duty with rear locker and a Powerstroke on pretty much any trim. I don’t think this truck will fly off the shelves the way RAM thinks it will.

      You know what’s a game changer? Electric. Which is why Stellantis plays around with stickers and doodads, raises prices, and uses their record profits to develop EVs. The others do it, but to not near Ram’s degree.

      @@RAM-KINGOFTRUCKS That’s not a game changer, it’s just catching up with Ford. Like I said, I can get a Power Stroke Diesel with a Rear Locker on any trim Ford Super Duty. The problem with RAM is that they wanted to charge a premium for the Rebel trim and place it in the luxury category. You’re paying a $20K premium for the Rebel trim when like I said, you can get a diesel and rear locker on a Ford XL or XLT trim.

    Not a better buy. Allison's transmission ain't any better. Just the rear axle lock, WTF? 14.6 MPG. Nice, it gets .6 MPG more than the 14 MPG 6.4 Hemi. Joking but damn.

    RAMs 2500 are worthless in my opinion. The payload on them is pathetic. Some 1500 can do what a Ram 2500 can. Expensive worthless trucks!!!!
