- Another echos weapon review. Timeworn Wayfarer is unique and powerful. Even if you have similar combinations it is worth getting. In this review I talk about what I recommend crafting and I didn't craft Heal Clip + Incandescent. I feel there is a better option. PvP wise, it's SO fun to play with and I have some tips to give you more success with it.

Hey you say at 9:58 that small bore, accurized, and handling masterwork give it 76, 43, 43, 51. When I craft that it gives me 74, 33, 51, 44
The stats he mentioned were if you had a Stability MW instead. Not sure which one he meant though.

I mean, the hip fire on this thing is not that great tbh
The threadling was tankier than an actual Guardian
Enhanced dual loader is pretty nice on it as well. Loads 4 bullets at a time
I'm surprised double loader isn't talked about more, I run double loader highground and it feels awesome

This gun is a great example of why I want crafted guns with double perks.
Like I really don’t want to have two versions of this gun for a shoot to loot or heal clip. It would be so nice to have both on this gun
They should allow the double perks if we either get 10 red borders or instead we hit weapons rank 60 for example.
Would mean you either grind for the drops or grind by using the weapon to achieve the extra perk slots.
Sounds high as well bit bungie won't give you double/triple perks on craftable weapons unless it's hard or "grindy".
Would be really cool if we could use exotic cyphers or something to add extra perks
At the very least, reshaping a weapon to add a perk you've added onto it before shouldn't cost materials.
@@DPMAN206 This is a good idea. Its expensive enough to mean something but still relatively accessible.
I believe the devs have said before that although they would like to have this functionality, the game’s engine unfortunately can’t support it. While we do see double enhanced perks on things like shiny BRAVE weapons and master dungeon/raid content, those are static and that’s why they can exist.
I never paid attention to high ground lasting 7 seconds. These little bits of information are why I love your videos so much. ❤

I really think this is the first legendary 120 scout done right. The scope w/high ground makes all the difference. Vex Mechanica ftw!

Long arm with dragonfly subsistence is really fun, been using it since spire dropped.
@@jpmorgan6146 That's a good question. Maybe it's just sour grapes from a guy who can't hang in Trials, but I sincerely think the Wayfarer is better. I've wanted an Immortal, a Shayura's, a Summoner, or an Igneous for a while. Never wanted a Prophet. My Wayfarer tears it up in quick play and IB.
@@iponce2 I loved the idea of that. I have a Wolftone Draw with Impulse and Dragonfly and a Glissando with reconstruct/hatchling, both of which basically fulfill the same roll. You know, I really think it's the iron sights on the cowboy rifles that I can't get past.
The only weapon I’ve gotten Promethium Spur to work with….Strategist + Incandescent. Use if bored.
Does prometheum spur have any interaction with phoenix dive? I want warlock exotic legs that let you burst upward into the air if you use dive while grounded. Gives you radiant, cure 1, and short song of flame timer. It’s been my dream solar warlock exotic since forever.

I love this gun. The aesthetics, frame, and ability to pair with conditional finality
Heal clip incandescent is so much better on this that most of the other guns with it. Keep away high ground is my pvp roll too which melts in multiplex and most of the new maps
Best feeling and sounding legendary 120 scout hands down. Tex got beat at their own game by the Vex lol

I personally like to use it with the Strategist Incandescent paired with Promethium Spurs. It's the one Solar weapon that completes it and makes it useful. It makes you a form of support with a healing and empowering your allies from a distance. Only wish Bungie lets you trigger its effect without being in a healing rift but what can you do.
I know that exotic is completely bad but it's fun with the right weapon and this weapon makes it shine*
Enhanced dual loader incandescent is in the running for my favourite gun in the game rn
since Shoot to Loot can pick up orbs and this gun makes the radiolaria pools on double kills in pvp, Shoot to Loot refreshes your radiant every time you get a double kill if you have Radiant Orbs from the artifact. plus with Recuperation and Better Already on the legs, that makes up for not having heal clip a little. so i think there's play to running Shoot to Loot/High Ground for pvp on any Solar or Prismatic class

Hey, I really appreciate highlighting which perk combo you're currently talking about. Helps look for specific parts on repeats (or if I just missed something) a lot.
Something that you can do and this is a legitimate playstyle: glacier grenade on stasis and prismatic titan with this gun and high ground. Throw the grenade on a wall high on any map. Congrats you have the high ground. Very fun and different way to play.
Couple of other things:
1. Enhance dual loader on this frame reload 4 shots from 2. Very cool basically negates the long reload of this frame.
2. It is so sad that there will be people who dont try this gun out just because it is a scout rifle.
Can't wait to craft this, looks super fun.

This is why I wait to craft until I hear from coolguy. I would never have put high ground on it, but now it seems like the obvious choice. GG man!

i appreciate how CG always tests every perk potential. i dont like scouts but it was cool to see the shoot to loot and high ground perks being used on this
I have like 5 of these crafted because it does a lot of things well and has very unique perks.
Dual loader is extremely underrated, and yes. It does work how you expect it would, and the enhanced works too. You gain so much reload speed, it unbelievable. 4 rounds per reload

This has become one of my favorite pvp guns. I don't even know what perks the gun has because I'm new, but this has been the perfect follow up to my auto rifle for that high damage shot after the enemy takes cover and re-peeks.
I was on your team yesterday with you using it on path of burning steps. We both dropped 33 leading our team to the dub on altar of flame. Was curious what your thoughts were with that exotic? Seemed nice

Fav moment from this last banner. I got a nice flank on 3 ppl while the hunt was on, was able to lay all 3 down before I was even at half health. Pure dopamine drip! (I’m not very good at PvP :) ) so that moment felt like I was a god also known as cammy c 😅 thank you for all your work cool guy! One of the only content creators that I take there opinion as law. ❤
I've been doing really well in Iron Banner this week using the new Stasis AR Veiled Threat. There is something about that weapon that makes it feel so good to use. Not much recoil, fires straight as an arrow, sticky head shots.
Currently using a keep away/opening shot roll and really enjoying it
When the pattern unlocked for this weapon, I started with a Keep Away/Precision Instrument MW handling roll for PVP. I'm going to try the High Ground roll with heal clip, Strategist, or To the Pain.
Anything can be high ground if you want hahahahaha classic cool guy.
Just respeced mine to the shoot to loot incandescent build, and my god.. This is so good. Only thing is it will make me cry when it's not solar surge.

I brought this into an expert season activity with Dual Loader + Incandescent, on average it took maybe 5 shots to kill a goblin. ~3 with solar surge x3 and radiant.
I love this gun in both pve and pvp
I like the idea of bunny hopping to random spots of uneven ground to get the bonus going lol
These types of scouts have been my favorites in pvp. This doesn’t feel as powerful but is way more stable compared to the tex mechanica weapons

I honestly thought Luna's howl would remain glued to my side as my go to hard content weapon. But once I got ahold of this? Luna now unfortunately sits in my vault as i yeehaw to victory.

Khvostov has Shoot to Loot pilled me, and Adhortative has made me love heal clip too, and incan is amazing, it's just a little disappointing with its performance in PvE without a kill perk
Not sure if you watched the act 2 stream but they said they buffed 120 scouts by 30% so with any luck these weapons will be great next week

If I'm not mistaken, if an enemy falls to the Radiolaria pool it triggers an incandescent explosion. I've noticed it while patrolling the Pale Heart

I run this thing with speedloader slacks just because those pants with the Ancient Wisdom shader make perfect cowboy drip
Plus synergy with acrobat dodge and heal clip
Nice to know that this can sorta work like a Shoot to Loot/Kinetic Tremors weapon in the energy slot and craftable. That is a pretty big deal.
Also tried a roll of this with Dual Loader. Not super flashy but will say there is something about loading 3 rounds into the mag at a time.
Path of burning steps probably pairs well with this.

I love this gun, it makes me think of Boba Fetts rifle, its my favorite scout.
I hate how just about everyone I talk to about heal clip is sleeping on the perk. It is by far one of my favorite perks in pve if no damage perk is available in the column.

Unrelated, but at some point, can you do a video on the Attrition Orbs trait? I feel like there's a lot of underutilized power there, especially in pve, but I want your opinion.

Great gun but I get tired of walking sideways so I can see where I'm going because it takes up half the screen and blocks everything on the right.
Heal Clip and Shoot to Loot are both S tier on this gun. I don't know how to choose
I mean, not yet; this season is Void focussed and Scout doesn't have a champion mod. Maybe in Act 3.

ive been looking for a longer range solar primary for radiant frostees that isnt exotic (red death or polaris lance) so i can use conditional finality in the kinetic slot to deal with supers

High Ground was one good weapon away from being an overpowered damage perk. Timeworn is the good weapon.
Speaking of the scope, how do you feel about the entire weapon and scope shifting when you shoot it but the reticle stays put?

I like scopes as well, never liked DMT and the iron sites.
I used one of these for the first 3 weeks and then I got a nullify (raid pulse) and I just can't go back to timeworn, I love perks and feels and look but it just kinda sucks, damage feels like shit compared to two burst pulses. I don't know if two bursts are stronger than they should be or if agg scouts just suck but I really want a reason to use this gun
