Study in NUS/NTU/SMU then go for a year long overseas exchange programme. It's cheaper, you get a decent degree, not from those subpar universities and you get to experience studying abroad.
Unless you're offered a place in oxbridge, mit, stanford, ivy, icl etc., then it's worth it to go study there for the full bachelor's programme.
I mean unless your RP or GPA sucks and have to choice, then study in subpar overseas uni lo.

The most answer for studying abroad but not studying in Singapore is Singapore only have NUS and NTU can move to QS ranking top 100 in the world university.Sometimes the Big company HR only consider world top 100 university fresh graduated students because they are very competitive.
By studying abroad, the first thing is you can easily upgrade your university degree certificate to be more recognized widely when first working in company. Then, you can also become more mature and independent person because you need to settle the difficulties by your own and cannot count on anyone when you study abroad.
Besides, you can increase the knowledge of matters in foreign countries. You may share the life to your beloved friends or parents and don't become a toad at the bottom of a well. Then, you will explore your eyesight and become open-minded person when you interact with other people.Lastly, you must working hard and earn more money to your parents because they give you the chance to study abroad in university.

i just want to debunk what hafiz said on you don't have to study as hard in the uk or overseas in general to pass. There are many university in the world and only a handful of them are competitive. Simply google the acceptance rate for each university to see. The ones with low acceptance rates are the ones everybody is applying for because of it's recognition. The recognition stems from the fact that studies and research in that specific universities are more in-depth as compared to the rest of the universities which also means you have to have real good grades to enter because the syllabus will be very difficult which also means you have to study really hard during your time in school.

Yea there are international students (including westerners) in NUS, NTU and even SMU, but NUS is like the more common choice for international students compared to the other two

Of course using Parents money ..

    • @starcrystaltiara

      I mean
If the parents’ didn’t mind, and even recommended them to study overseas, then it shouldn’t be a problem.
But of course, let’s not take advantage of our parents’ and their hard earned money.
But I’m pretty sure they had to get their decision of studying abroad approved by their parents before they could do their application,,

What do you mean why? There’re usually only 2 reasons why ppl study overseas: either they can’t get into local/private Us or they’re the smarter ones who got accepted into Ivy League schools 😂

It seems crazy wasting time to go oversea studies. In this era with internet online & IT subject in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing even IT software programming basically all theoretical subjects except for hands on engineering degree can be attain the knowledge online & u don’t need a degree nowadays except for some specific trade like Medical & Engineering that needs board institution-approval b4 u work. It seems the group here is focusing more on parties than really acquiring the essential knowledge & skills for career purpose. So this is really throwing $ down the drain & wasting 4 yrs of ones life time…for uni they laugh all the way to the bank! Really Con-cum in singlish. Rationally, I feel is stupid & rather intellectually challenging in the 1st place not to find the most fastest, simplest & cheapest way to acquire a knowledge or skills. So this is really an intellectual & logical issue in one person fundamentally whereby if u are a boss of a company, will u engage such staff in your company?

It’s a video that is supposed to be informational, so of course all 4 of them would want to share all of their experiences and give as much advice as they can to the viewers.
Don’t think it’s very nice for you to criticise, especially if it doesn’t help someone or build their character up, on this platform.
