As a teacher, you are supposed to instill confidence in your students to motivate them to do better but it was not the case for me

I mean like i just needed some confidence. But the teachers in cjc kept telling me i was lazing around not doing well eg. In chemistry practicals. So what was i supposed to do if i was believed to be unfit for jc even if i was doing well?

It seems crazy wasting time to go oversea studies. In this era with internet online & IT subject in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing even IT software programming basically all theoretical subjects except for hands on engineering degree can be attain the knowledge online & u don’t need a degree nowadays except for some specific trade like Medical & Engineering that needs board institution-approval b4 u work. It seems the group here is focusing more on parties than really acquiring the essential knowledge & skills for career purpose. So this is really throwing $ down the drain & wasting 4 yrs of ones life time…for uni they laugh all the way to the bank! Really Con-cum in singlish. Rationally, I feel is stupid & rather intellectually challenging in the 1st place not to find the most fastest, simplest & cheapest way to acquire a knowledge or skills. So this is really an intellectual & logical issue in one person fundamentally whereby if u are a boss of a company, will u engage such staff in your company?

If you had the chance to remove all the content that directly/indirectly promotes OF, would you do it for the sake of the safety of society in Singapore?

Hi, i am a student who has received an offer for the Bachelor of Business course in SIM-RMIT. I too come from a similar background as Petrina since i have obtained a diploma in Aviation Management in RP. After watching this video, i have some questions to Petrina regarding the course load and syllabus in SIM-RMIT 1. What is the course load and syllabus like in RMIT? 2. What do the local professors usually go through with you after the RMIT professors have flown back to Melbourne? 3. Were there any cultural shocks you faced during your first semester in SIM-RMIT from your local poly background ( like in the grading system/rubrics and in the way lessons are taught) and if so, how did you manage to overcome them? 4. What made you choose SIM-RMIT over other unis? 5. Will a general degree be more disadvantageous in the long run than compared to say a specific skill-based degree (eg: marketing, computer science, engineering, etc)

I fly SQ J class at least once a year flying SFO usa-KNO indonesia roundtrip. The most I've ever given was 100 usd to each of the FA, not the purser or in flight manager / super. Seen enough companies and managements whom intentionally gave poor appraisals during bonus time to working parents simply because they have to take paid or unpaid parental leaves to tend to urgent family matters. Applause to the young couple is doing their part to contribute to the growth of Singapore babies population. Actually housing is becoming more expensive. 400k for a 4 room resale has become a norm, not extravaganza at all. And it more economical to owns a 4 rooms instead of 3 rooms if the couple intend to have at least 2 kids in future.
