i think adding subtitles would help cover the bad audio, sometimes they speak too soft or overlapping or way too loud, especially with the terminologies the average joe is not used to.
Talking about SQ 26 as an Ex Apron officer same sentiments the loading and unloading for that flight always have issue as that flight has a lots of transit pax and have to wait for their luggages. Back in those days SQ26 is using the 747. Man those air intake valve sound got my ears ringing whole time. Not forgetting the off loading of the bags when the pax is missing but show up at the last second before door close. Damn...

SilkAir was a full service airlines. Just that it did regional route instead of intl routes.
The quality of cabin crew here like quite different from SIA
budget airlines have less strict requirements! SIA is super strict with their selection.

Agree with you. Low cost only pick low cost look. Only full service airline pick the looks which can make it. Low cost.... Really only pick..well you see the video it's speaks everything. Lol that is why full service airline look down or doesn't look upon to low cost. Anyone ask which airline are you fromm.. when you mentioned you are some low cost airline... The person will judge you already from the look. I would say if want to join, only join the full service not low cost.

With many cabin crews leaving the airlines during the last 2 years, there are many such interviews going around. It’s no longer a very fresh and interesting topic. Nevertheless, thank you for adding to the list.

I fly SQ J class at least once a year flying SFO usa-KNO indonesia roundtrip. The most I've ever given was 100 usd to each of the FA, not the purser or in flight manager / super. Well this is an interesting video. Interesting for the very wrong reasons.
I come from an angle of a former crew and interviewer for major airlines in Asia and Middle East including EK and EY.
Not sure of the intention of the interview but it seems to want to glorify the whole zapping culture. Yes it may exist even more so in the past. But if YOU KNOW YOUR JOB, you have nothing to dread about. (Refer opening line in first 3 seconds) She wouldn’t dread if you
- know your job
- engage in people (pax and crew)
- less over dramatic
Focus next on the disposition of the 6. They don’t portray the maturity required of the profession.
You may wanna consider asking about their records ie discipline and performance? Likely questionable
If you're a former crew, you should know better what it's like to get zapped. Who the hell wants to "glorify" zapping? (Unless you're one of those crew who loves to zap other crew on board.)
1. We should "know our job" before we go on our flight. Well, even if we know our job well and we know all the b&w, there are still SOME people who will find faults just because they are plain mean and bitchy. (Like you)
2. When you are a cabin crew, like it or not we still need to engage with pax and crew and if we are lucky we get to fly with nice and nurturing crews. But if you're not so lucky, well, you get to fly with people who will have everything and anything to say (Like you).
3. You can't avoid dramas on flights if the crew is zappy or mean to you just because you're junior or you have RBF. (Just like your comment.) Is it because someone pissed you off for not offering you a drink onboard?
Lastly, instead of judging the crew by the video why don't you upload a video of yourself to show that you're better than any of them in the video. Disposition? How well mannered are you? It's questionable too. 🤔 Being a keyboard warrior is not looking good for you honey. If you're so butthurt, maybe you're just one of the zappy crews defending your ego and guilt.
