Not necessarily in general, but Asia does have some of the nicest airlines out there. Although the Middle Eastern carriers among others aren't too far behind in terms of quality. For instance, I flew to Vietnam from Auckland, Malaysia Airlines from Auckland to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Kuala Lumpur to Ho Chi Minh, and then Vietnam Airlines from Ho Chi Minh to Hue. The first flight was... okay. My seat didn't recline, the other passengers were rude and loud, the flight attendants were nice but you could never get their attention. The second flight was awful, the plane was dirty, I couldn't see out my window because it was covered in schmutz, as was my tray table, and the flight attendants were pleasant but completely absent except for one drinks and meals round. That experience means I will never fly Malaysian again. Then, we flew Vietnam Airlines... and it was amazing. Granted we did have to take a bus to get to the plane on the tarmac, but once we were on it, it was cool and the air had a bit of mist in it, the flight attendants were amazing and attentive, and they were always looking to be helpful. I ruptured my eardrum on the previous flight and we couldn't get any help at all, and then on the Vietnam flight, the flight attendants were regularly checking in to see if we needed anything or if there was anything they could do. If I ever get the chance to fly Vietnam Airlines again, I will jump at that chance. So there is a variety, but there is certainly some star players.
My experience with Singapore airlines last year was outstanding considering it was long haul with 2 toddlers. Just the way they interact with us was worth every penny and made us realize how terrible us domestic flights to compare. We will fly with them again.
Some of my earliest and best memories of being little was the treatment by flight attendants on Singapore Airlines. I bet your kids will remember the trip fondly in some way even if they are just toddlers.
Well done. The American based carriers have a lot to learn. Singapore Airlines is a leader but what is impressive is the business class. My own parents (when they were still alive) would travel on Korean Air Lines on business class and enjoyed the service on KAL. I have no doubt if my parents were still alive and traveling SAL, they would enjoy the amenities. My dad (God rest his soul) always wanted to be pampered.
What American based carriers have learned is that Americans would rather pay less and get less and it is more profitable for them to do so due to the competition offering cheaper fares. So yes, they could offer better quality (and they used to several decades ago), but the money has been in offering less.
I've flown Singapore in both economy and business. It's basically the only airline I fly to Asia. Even their economy seats are great, and I have no qualms about flying with them. Always checking their passengers. While British Airways, Flight Attendants are not helpful at all. During meal time, if you’re not going to ask for water they’ll not give you water, if you missed your meal, they will not get back to you. The worst in-flight service I experienced. I told to the ground attendant, by the way I’m a Scientist and pay me per hour if you’re going to put me in the next flight. Then the ground attendant right away told me, see me at the boarding gate sir. And I responded, “…ok thank you!” Then I got her name. Then she gave me at the end a seat for the flight to San Francisco (by the way, I booked this three months ago). Awful service, I should say!
Singapore air is great among other airlines in economy class service. I remember my first overseas travel that happened to be on Singapore airlines that offered me postcard to mail home, a news paper, free day trip of Singapore (my layover was 15 hours. ) & offered a locker for my carry-on luggage so that I can enjoy day trip hand free.
I once traveled in Singapore Air and the day was my boyfriend's (now my husband) birthday and I requested a birthday special when I booked the flight and they prepared a birthday cake for him after they served us first meal, of course without candles but they sang Happy birthday for him. we have a great experience with Singapore Air!
cool video! To measure a TV screen, in England at least we measure from top left to bottom right of the screen, rather from left to right. I've forgotten my maths though so it might not make a difference in size.
Not just in England. I think that’s globally how it’s done. From cellphones to laptops etc. when manufacturers mention the size, it’s the diagonal measurement.
@FD&BJ I didn't want to say but I did think this was probably a universal thing, since my apple phone screen is measured diagonally, however there's always some 13 year old kid who knows everything claiming that she lady in the interview was measuring correctly as that's how people in the U.S measure screen size.
Can't afford the business and first class but i would get the premium econ when the flight is more than 6 to 8 hours. It's really worthwhile to get that extra space during long flights.
Sooo after crispy rendang few years ago, now we have crispy satay in 17:48 7:59 how to measure any screen is to measure it without the bezzel xD only the parts that emmits light/picture 23:20 i like how he provided his crew with same class as him
I flew Singapore Airlines economy class in 1995. Absolutely outstanding service, huge fan. Our stewardesses were as kind and attentive as they were beautiful. If I go back to Asia I will be booking Singapore. Real dedication. ❤
Oh gosh, it's all about THE BED!! Anything extra is just like a special treat that makes you feel like a coddled 12 year old at Christmas. To be able to sleep on a proper bed on a SERIOUS long haul flight is heaven and worth every penny. I'd love to try Singapore's first class suites in particular. Thanks for showing us each option here-- and good for you blagging all these cool free luxury flights!!!
You know what, if you're nice enough to the flight attendant, you could ask for the extra Haagen Dasz, even in Economy. The good thing with SQ is they are generous with amenities and food for passengers, availability permits.
I feel like this comparison is a bit unfair just in that SA has some of the best service of any airline, even in base economy. (I remember them having a snack area where one could take anything even in economy...including Hagen Daas!)
Even without this Video, I know this airline is very good. I have heard glowing reviews from friends who have traveled with Singapore Airlines. They say the comfort and hospitality is really good. And none of them flew first class or even business class. I guess a lot of airlines in the industry can learn a thing or two from Singapore Airlines.
What an amazing video presented excellently by an amazing person. This video clearly contained the different distinctions of the various flight class, with clear details of the features each class had contained. This is the first time I've seen you and I must say I was taken back how bubbly your personality is and it didn't take long into the video to get a feel of your warmth personality. The difference between US and Asian carriers is night and day. While the hard product for AA or Delta is fine for Business Class, their service can't be compared. I don't know if this is true or not, but it seems the FAs for US carriers who service Business Class are based on seniority, while Asian ones seem to choose the best fit for the job (friendliest, prettiest).
US carriers used to have friendly, pretty flight attendants back in the 60s and 70s. But just like Asian carriers today, FAs would be fired after a certain age. So the US courts ruled that it was age discrimination, so now the US carriers have to keep old flight attendants while foreign carriers don't have to.
I always fly sia when visiting my family in Singapore.. hands down one of the best airlines.. not that I used to work with SIA 😉especially the food and ice cream!!
I have tried business class SQ; LH, and Qatar airways, to me the most money worth spending is the Qatar Airways Q-suite, the privacy of the seat is unbeatable by any other business class that I am aware of
That’s cool. Now please do an economy review. That’s what most can afford. Also. there have been cutbacks in Singapore, so service and food is significantly worse on Singapore. Yes. I recently took a return trip from LAX to Singapore in economy. It’s either overhyped, significant cutbacks, or both. Yes, the service was better than your usual US airline, but I wouldn’t rave about it at all.
Singapore Airlines now is overrated. The better airlines like Emirates (to Europe or UAE), Qatar (to Europe via UAE) or Cathay (Asia) should get your money if flying economy. Still, premium products from business up is still top on SQ, maybe honorable mention emirates first class. They're neck and neck but in different ways. But for economy just fly Cathay or EVA if you guys don't want to give the rich oil nation money.

Haha! An enormous contrast from standard economy which I just flew a month ago 😊 $12K for business class or $26K for suites maybe for the super blessed for now!
I know this was posted a year ago, but, when measuring screens you don’t measure straight right to left. You measure top corner to opposite bottom corner (from bottom left to top right corner for instance)

Wow, I'm flying this airline next month in premium economy. Also from NYC to Singapore lol. This was super helpful and came at the right time!
@Israel Selvam Thank you so much!!
cool video! To measure a TV screen, in England at least we measure from top left to bottom right of the screen, rather from left to right. I've forgotten my maths though so it might not make a difference in size.
Was gonna mention this!
That’s the proper method
Not just in England. I think that’s globally how it’s done. From cellphones to laptops etc. when manufacturers mention the size, it’s the diagonal measurement.
Then again, she said it's supposed to be 15,4" *wide*
@FD&BJ I didn't want to say but I did think this was probably a universal thing, since my apple phone screen is measured diagonally, however there's always some 13 year old kid who knows everything claiming that she lady in the interview was measuring correctly as that's how people in the U.S measure screen size.
Can't afford the business and first class but i would get the premium econ when the flight is more than 6 to 8 hours. It's really worthwhile to get that extra space during long flights.
5:51 Some say the other passenger is still trying to flag down the flight attendant to this day.
lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣 i can't
Nooo dont gooo😂
lol was that the guy with his hand up like in class?
Her enthusiasm is so refreshing to see vs pro reviewers/RUclipsrs lol
Sooo after crispy rendang few years ago, now we have crispy satay in 17:48
7:59 how to measure any screen is to measure it without the bezzel xD only the parts that emmits light/picture
23:20 i like how he provided his crew with same class as him
This is amazing at the same time sad to see, one person's flight ticket price is another person's yearly income
Tru dat
Proud Singaporean right here! 🙋🏻♂️🇸🇬
Majulah Singapura ❤🤍❤️🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬
Business Class in Singapore Airlines is fantastic. Went from UK to Australia return on it, cant fault the experience at all.
That's not how you measure the size of a screen, it's meant to be done diagonally - like from bottom left corner to top right corner
I flew Singapore Airlines economy class in 1995. Absolutely outstanding service, huge fan. Our stewardesses were as kind and attentive as they were beautiful. If I go back to Asia I will be booking Singapore. Real dedication. ❤
As a dork you should know to measure the screen diagonally…
Thought I was the only one who noticed…
Oh gosh, it's all about THE BED!! Anything extra is just like a special treat that makes you feel like a coddled 12 year old at Christmas. To be able to sleep on a proper bed on a SERIOUS long haul flight is heaven and worth every penny. I'd love to try Singapore's first class suites in particular. Thanks for showing us each option here-- and good for you blagging all these cool free luxury flights!!!
Gotta respect the fact they didn’t have a clickbait thumb nail considering who was on the plane
at what point in the video was that again?
im asking for a timestamp
@@theplayer4664around 23:00
You know what, if you're nice enough to the flight attendant, you could ask for the extra Haagen Dasz, even in Economy. The good thing with SQ is they are generous with amenities and food for passengers, availability permits.
"Business class honestly wasn't that bad at all" do you *realize* it's in a completely different league from any first-class section in the US??
Let it go… Delta airlines has amazing service!
I feel like this comparison is a bit unfair just in that SA has some of the best service of any airline, even in base economy. (I remember them having a snack area where one could take anything even in economy...including Hagen Daas!)
17:45 i don't know what "crispy" satay you had but satays are NOT supposed to be crispy 😂
What a fun trip, thanks for taking us along!............. FYI tv screen size is measured diagonally not horizontally
Great work what a honor to be able to experience something like that.
I've never even tried the premium economy seat, which was the cheapest shown
SQ is such a treat, in any class. They treat you like you are the most important passenger in the world, always!
All economy seats has adjustable headrests, just adjust it with your hands. The two flexible flaps will hold your head in place.
You are a very likable person, what's more, the fact that you don't need to spend hours in front of the mirror, slapping on layers upon layers of cosmetic wear to feature on videos/pictures.
And you definitely do not need any make up at all, because naturally you are simply beautiful.
I am so glad to be able to see you for the first time, even though it may be in digital form, but it's been an amazing time watching you present in this video. ❤️👏👏👏😀
Never flown Singapore but Air Canada business class is the worst product on the market.
gotta agree they got horrible service
Agreed but you just buy premium economy and then bid it on it for cheap. It's a decent value.
@@johnseng9636 I was flying during COVID. The waits, delays, canceled flight, rudeness, like Jesus Christ I paid $4,000 for this ticket and I have to remind you two times for a water? I was clearly dehydrated and coughing and she was rolling her eyes.
Air Canada is by far the worse airline I’ve flown on.. terrible service
Whatever people say nothing beats Singapore Airlines food! It is that amazing! Like really amaaaaaaazing!
Ahh maybe Quater airlines
Jimmy showing up was so random LMFAO that was so unexpected
No one cares about economy, it wouldn't be fun to watch because it's typically a lackluster experience
@@kalebasphalt Qatar doesnt need to get anyones money, they sponsor terrorism
holy hell i was just watching this video so randomly never in a million years would I have expected mr beast to just suddenly pop out
Thank you for sharing your trip with us🌷
On most US internal trips 1st Class is about the equivalent of international Premium Economy.
And worse service. Loud flight attendants, etc.
Investing appropriately today can save you a whole lot of stress in the nearest future
Quite impressive but HOW!!? 😊 I know it's possible my colleague at work got her first investment return of 50k, I would really appreciate if you show me how to go about it
I got Charlotte Junko Walsh recommendation on ABC News in August 2022 and started following her lead and made $25,650 in two weeks. I lost my job in March 2022 and right now I'm back on top again and always win with her guidance.
Life was hard for me until i started trading bitcoin with Mrs Charlotte and now i earn $ 19,450 per week
Mrs Charlotte is the strategic trader that manager my account. She's really a professional i earn my first investing profit of €50k and she does not fail.
Same here, I earn $17,000 a week. God bless Mrs Charlotte, she has been a blessing to my family.
You should measure the screen diagonally! Or did I miss something?
My fault 🙂, you did say inches wide...
It felt unlike being on a plane at all. A new experience of flying but there was still a bit of rooms for improvement as well 😊
Impress with the airline video good content really!! I had watch more😮😊😊😊
I’m jealous of you. What an incredible experience to get to have.
Haha! An enormous contrast from standard economy which I just flew a month ago 😊 $12K for business class or $26K for suites maybe for the super blessed for now!
Yoongi loved Singapore airlines so much hahaha they flew in it for Bon Voyage 4 💜
Really hope the camera man was also relaxing in first class- props to them
Just an FYI… all tv or monitor screens are measured diagonally.
I know this was posted a year ago, but, when measuring screens you don’t measure straight right to left. You measure top corner to opposite bottom corner (from bottom left to top right corner for instance)
So, they made a documentary about the elite world of first class and business class travel? I guess us economy flyers will have to make our own documentary - it'll be called 'Surviving the Middle Seat: Tales of Turbulence, Cramped Quarters, and Making Friends with Strangers
Sleep and rest first thing after take off is a great choice in business class. I always enjoy food in the lounge way more than I should and can hardly take anything else for a few hours later.
If I would pay 23,000 for a 1st class Suite, I would be so pissed off to have a bunch of YTbers and journalists speaking loud all the time and thinking they are in a guesthouse...
I think them being on the same flight as Mr. Beast wasn't a coincidence. Singapore Airlines probably knew both had put in requests to have film crew onboard, and decided to put both of them on the same flight with no other regular revenue passengers. That way not only would there be no other first class passengers getting disturbed by business insider and mr. beast, but the airline could also pre-plan a special crew that was more flexible and adaptive with filming since the videos are probably sponsored.
Plus dressed like a college student
What's really cool is the table is sparkling clean.
Oho now we know what Mr. Beast next upcoming video is going to be 😂😂😂
Qatar Airways, Etihad Airlines, Emirates, Singapore Airlines , Korea Air, are some of the top airlines in terms of service & quality (even for economy) although most especially for business & first class
I was lucky enough to book a round-trip flight from LAX to Kyiv, Ukraine, in May 2021 via Delta business class flight(s). The total cost for round-trip airfare was only 2,800 USD. I had filet mignon and chocolate ice cream for my first meal. I will return to Ukraine again soon but must cross the land border by bus ($22) this time instead of flying. Sigh.
I knew it!! I knew he was making a video about 1 vs 500000 dollar plane tickets...lets goo!!
To measure tv length you measure it diagonally. Like from top right corner to bottom left corner
To measure the size of the TV, it's the top left side of the screen to the bottom right side of the screen. Vice-versa. FYI. Love your video btw. As a Singaporean, I never knew what's like to travel with Singapore Airlines coz I couldn't afford even for the economy seats😅
I came on to say that too 😊, definitely always measure diagonally!
I'M so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever, hoping to retire next year... Investment should always be on any creative man's heart for success in life.
@tanjakovacic9188哇你也认识她?我什至认为我是她唯一帮助我度过外汇交易的恐惧和失败的人。
I've never heard or seen any of her clients complain of lost I think she is just too perfect.
it was a testimony like this that introduced me to her and although at first I thought she was not real but I can now boldly testify...her strategies were awesome and her trading last week was boooom!!!
,Trading with an expert is the best strategy for newbies and busy investors who have little or no time to monitor trade.. I will advice anyone to stop trading on your own it's very risky. Seek advice of a professional trader
I checked out Mrs Jeffrey_kathryn trading service going ahead and I registered with her company , that was four months ago and now I never regret trusting her. First started small but with the outcome I got, I decided to put more and it's been amazing
SA and JAL are my favorites for their incredible consistent level of service 🎉
Mean while: the film crew slept in the cargo hold.
They get paid though.
🤣
that was good showing from economy to first class. very informative video about singapore airlines
I tried business class 2 years ago and haven't gone back to economy 😂. If I had to make the choice between business & economy I'll always choose first 😉
Am I the only person thinking this was a huge PR hit...but when MrBeast uploads whatever video he's done...these guys are gonna get NAILED with bookings!
So I assume that Insider Business paid for this trip or otherwise, which is the most obvious option, is that it is a marketing trip provided by Singapore airlines. I like her voice and presentation style. However, making this investment, you expect she did at least SOME research before. Apart from some easy google or wikipedia searches on facts about the Airbus A380. She measures the screen horizontally...
😂😂 😂 gotta give her credit for at least trying to measure it but absolutely that was funny
It's such a pity that you didn't get to experience the newer business class. It's even better than this one!
Singapore/Eva Air do great business class
A lot of the East and Southeast Asian carriers are head and shoulders above American and European ones. Like, on Lufthansa, even business class sucks. But on Korean Air, Thai, Malaysian and Singapore, I’ve had great experiences in Economy.
my 2 years salary is that ticket price 😂
Hope it’s okay to ask- when you do blogging for first/business class, is your ticket free? Just curious
