My son and I flew economy Singapore from Asheville, NC to Frankfurt, Germany and we ended up being 2 of 6 people in the entire economy cabin. The FA's were so amazing. They ended up bring us 1st class meals, drinks, pillows, etc...
Unusual tbh, flew back virgin JFK - LDN Heathrow and me an don't other half were the only passengers on board the entire plane. Yet we got nothing extra and wouldn't let us even look in first class. The crew just enjoyed all the first class treats whilst we sat in economy for 8 hours. Was a bit mean really if I'm honest

It's been a while since I flew and I have not travelled First Class but I can say the best experience I have ever had is with Singapore Airlines. They know what good service is.
I love how much effort you put into your videos, including changing the price to a couple countries currencies. I live in Canada and it is very helpful. And although I will probably never be able to go to even Europe, I can experience it through you. Keep doing what you're doing.
Despite having ridden some luxurious trains, the Caledonian Highlander is my favorite because, as on your flight, the beds are not seats. They are proper beds. It does make a difference.

A lot of food. I remember flying Singapore from Mumbai to Singapore in 1991. At midnight, boarding began. The flight attendants walked through the airport in their uniforms with a high cut slit. Everything happening in the airport stopped and everyone was speechless. It looked like a Miss Universe parade.
I experienced exactly the same thing in Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok around 10 years ago, but with Korean Air. everyone in the airport just stopped and looked at them parading through the airport. true Asian beauties!
Im not flying Business or First class yet, but we enjoy watching your videos during dinner time, especially trains, please do more of them! Your videos saved us during first month of having our baby 👶 💕
My friend, I saw your many videos and I just want to tell you that it's very informative and nice videos you made. My best wishes to you. Love from Mumbai India 💐💐💐
The regular first class looks just as incredible as when I last flew it many years back! Never flew the Suites though, but having seen your videos and those by Nonstop Dan it is definitely something I plan to do when I go for my next holiday to Japan in 2027/2028. As for the caviar question, I'm neutral to it. It does have a nice taste, but I wouldn't ever go out of my way to get it because of the price and the environmental issues that more often than not come with it. I believe Singapore Airlines sources theirs from sustainable farms, but it can sometimes be hard to tell with many other companies that offer it. If you're interested in trying something a little bit different in the future (and to perhaps take a break from the streak of luxury travel options), perhaps you can consider Vietnam Airlines. They're not a 5 star airline, but they're still a respectable 4 stars and have a very competitive business and economy class offering in my opinion. Just like Singapore Airlines, they have a big emphasis on food offerings which I really love and I think you might like as well seeing your videos. ^^
@@niksapaypal2077 Yeah! I only go on holidays once every 5 - 10 years, so what I usually do is plan out something in advance and have an escalation factor for expected costs so that I have a rough idea of the amount I need to budget when the time comes to actually start paying for stuff like hotels, flights, etc.. Then once its about 1 year away, I start locking everything in and update my budget with the updated prices at that point in time. I also check to see how much I've managed to set aside for my holiday fund to see if I can really afford to go for everything I wanted to do or if I need to cut some stuff back because the financial pot isn't big enough.
That's crazy.. and seems unreal! Man just go on holiday every year two times if you can't afford expensive holiday go cheap. You crazy! Can't belive someone plan think 6year for holiday.
@@niksapaypal2077 I prefer to go on a small number of very, very nice holidays rather than go for a large number of decently nice holidays. My philosophy on this is that when I go for a holiday, I just want to enjoy myself and not have to worry about costs because I have such a big pot of cash to use for this. This typically entails a lot of nice, but expensive things such as not travelling on economy, staying in 5 star hotels (Mandarin Oriental is my preferred chain), and some sprinkling of fine dining experiences in the countries I visit. As someone who isn't fortunate enough to call himself a part of the high flying "senior management" with the accompanying lucrative compensation, this does mean that I have to save for a much longer period of time before I can afford to go on the holidays I want. Like there's no way I can afford to fly First Class even once a year without putting a substantial strain on my finances XD To each their own I guess :)
My wife and I went on the QE2 from South Hampton to Baltimore in October 1987. I methion this because you asked about caviar. We went first class, Princess Restaurant (lowest of the first class rooms). Basically, in first class you can ask for anything. If Tomahawk steaks and Australian lobsters are your thing you just tell them and they'll prepare it for you. In our case we had Baked Alaska British style. Anyway as to the caviar, it was non-stop for the enitre 6 days. I got spoiled by the quality they served. I forget the name. BTW, you should look at doing select cruises, such as trans-Altantic (which can before business). The QM2 is still sailing.

It's a shame you didn't do more videos in Australia while you were here, unless they are to come, it always makes my day when I see you have a new video out. Just one point, as you were coming into land at Singapore you mentioned the rain forest, it is actually a palm oil plantations & these plantations have stirred up a bit of controversy as they totally replace the native vegetation, but for once I can say I have done an almost identical trip to you, it was on Singapore airlines, economy class, from Brisbane, Australia, via Singapore to the UK, love your work.
From chef point of view, I always avoid “Grilled” meat dish on board because it’s just not very suitable for cook - chilli - reheat process and it will never be as good as when it’s freshly cooked coz they lose all the juice and moisture during chilling and reheating process. On the other hand, slow cook meat dish like this short ribs and other braising meat dish are much more suitable and easy to maintain the quality during cook-chill-reheat process.
I am horribly addicted to these videos! I work night shifts and find them helping me out to chill out and stay awake when it gets difficult, So thank you :D However being a fellow brit I prefer the train videos but I love these plane reviews too
I loved the old Private Room, it is great to see the updated version. Btw, the chicken satay was served on my trip from Sydney to Singapore in April, but it was not listed on the menu. The crew just brought it around.
Ooh, the SIA flight attendant of your European leg was a chief air stewardess (red kebaya Balmain designer uniform) - the second highest rank. I have only seen one in all my years of flying with SIA. (Blue -regular FAs, Green - leading FAs, Red - chief FAs and purple -inflight supervisors)
Omg, so jelly over your experience on Singepore Airlines. The caviar looked fabulous but you must try Beluga Caviar,so rich and creamy with each pearly egg bursting on your tongue. Delicious! We hope to fly to Singepore next year and fingers crossed we can go first to Sydney from Honolulu. Anyways, enough chatter from me. Thank you for sharing your flight with us all. Aloha!
I love the B777 Singapore Airline. Even Business Class is amazing and one of best in class! In business class, you have 4 seats per row as well and if you are in the first row, you enjoy almost the same seating space as in first! Thanks for the first-class insights!
Seldom do I miss watching any of the videos that you upload. Albeit I've hitherto not have had the means to fly first class or business class but through your videos I have seen it. I would want to congratulate you for the good work.
Looks really nice, but I still prefer the Emirates experience with a shower on board and being able to shower before landing. I do love the book the cook on Singapore though. I had the same dish, the Lobster, and it was amazing. For $5K that's a great deal. I love Caviar so much I usually get it before every meal service, which can be up to 3 helpings per flight :). I guess I'm addicted. I do like the Paradis and Dom on Emirates as well, but my fav is Krug Rose for sure. Haven't found that on board yet.
Unless a miracle occurs and Etihad brings back the Residence, these Singapore Airlines first class suites are probably the single best airplane seat in the world at this point (at least on any commercial jet)
Love your content and have been a fan for a while now. Your presentation style is the winning formula here and although you must be exhausted most of the time it is evident you are having an absolute blast.

Thanks Will, this terrific. I used the Singapore lounges in March this year prior to the completion of the re fit and the experience was to say the least a bit average. It's great to see the new product is back up there with the best. Chuckled at your lobster choice, it's my guilty pleasure on book the cook too. I'm taking the Frankfurt/Singapore leg in suites early next year so this video hits the spot. By the by, DC bingo moment did I miss it. As ever great work Sir 👏

Yeah, that was great. I have not flown with Singapore Airlines in Years, would love to do this flight. I always love your videos, thanks... happy flying.
still 12 hours is long haul Almost all flights in this world are less than 7 hours long Also 20-30 hours are divided into multiple planes so idk if u could call that 20-30 hour period a long haul flight if u have layovers and breaks of being in a plane. If u had taken a/some plane/s longer than 10 hours in that 20-30 hour period than I’d consider that/those plane/s long haul.

The first, and only time I had caviar, was on a United Airlines flight from London to Melbourne, via Los Angeles, on what was then called "connoisseur class" It was way back in 1992, I think before flatbed seats, but it was an experience I shall never forget, for all the good reasons.
Wow.. This is absolutely incredible flight journey 24 hrs flying ufff.. 👍
Once again thank you for taking us on this awesome adventures I would never otherwise have seen
Oh HAILS yeah! Always a good day when there’s a new Trek Trendy video! Thanks as always for this epic content.
I absolutely love your videos and miss travelling very much. With regards to caviar - I love it and champagne as well. Thank you.
You make my day 100 times better! I love ur vids and u make me love flying! Have a good day 😁
I love watching your videos I've never tried caviar before but I've always wanted to thank you for taking us all along with you on your journeys
Singapore is undoubtedly the leader in long haul F class with that amazing product. Cheers Will 🥂
Seldom do I miss watching any of the videos that you upload.
Thank you for the video Will, this was lush. Definitely trying caviar one day, but definately more jealous of the satay. Stay awesome 🌞
Unless a miracle occurs and Etihad brings back the Residence, these Singapore Airlines first class suites are probably the single best airplane seat in the world at this point (at least on any commercial jet)
you guy my guy,, amazing work done
Love your content and have been a fan for a while now. Your presentation style is the winning formula here and although you must be exhausted most of the time it is evident you are having an absolute blast.
I always love your video n review travelling in plane, ships, trains.. Thanks for the good info n enjoys travelling..Kipidap the good job trek trendy, loves from Msia, june24..
I believe the mango was packaged for those who have a severe allergic reaction to it. Well done you! I really enjoyed this review and hope to, one day travel on SA in this manner!
Finally!!! was looking forward to this one!!!
Same
the toasted sandwich looks 1st class
This looks much better and nicer than Emirates and much more classy 🍾🥂✈️
Tnx for taking us around the world and showing all the options, even though I don't think I could,or would ever travel First, but Business definitely on a long flight ✈️ 👍💯
Watching your lavish lifestyle inspires me. Keep Grinding Bro!
Where does one begin... what an epic journey! Great to see both aircraft types and suffice to say the A380 Suite looks beyond incredible, as did the service and your meal selection. Please try the 380 back to JFK soon! Safe travels Will and thanks for sharing this unique journey. 🥂👏
Yeah, that was great. I have not flown with Singapore Airlines in Years, would love to do this flight. I always love your videos, thanks... happy flying.
A great video, thanks. As an Australian, I was pleased to see you do an actual long haul flight, not just a 12 hour flight and call that long haul :-)
It is long haul tho what??
@@sybrninja long haul to anyone in eastern Australia is 20-30 hours.
still 12 hours is long haul
Almost all flights in this world are less than 7 hours long
Also 20-30 hours are divided into multiple planes so idk if u could call that 20-30 hour period a long haul flight if u have layovers and breaks of being in a plane. If u had taken a/some plane/s longer than 10 hours in that 20-30 hour period than I’d consider that/those plane/s long haul.
@@sybrninja the 30 hours divvied up between flying and stopovers is what makes it horrendous, not the actual flying.
@@angelicasmodel Kattt is right about long haul flights. Why don't you leave her alone?!!!
I know this comment will never get seen by anyone, but i literally play trek trendy bingo, and this was the very first video to get a full house! That being: 'utilizing the term "hurtling down the runway" ', 'Kicking the Tims off', 'Eating a Steak/beef', 'Eating Caviar', 'Loo review', 'Bed setup by F/A', 'NASA shirt/jumper', 'Champagne/Cappachino at lounge', 'Diet Coke', 'Lounge review', 'Sponsored Segment', 'Spongebob transition'.
Absolutely delighted, love the vids m8
I really need to make up some official bingo cards - thanks so much for watching and so glad you enjoy the video :)
This is the best video. Enjoyed every second of it. ❤
commented 2 minutes after the video went live hahah
@@oldxavier_ 😀😀😀 I know right? I never thought it was possible.
Absolutely fantastic channel! Only recently started actively watching, great content!
I often wonder when you know you are able to get down for a kip in business/first. With the constant food and drinks, or do they knock it out in the first and last few hours?
I love your channel, welcome in Europe
"But thankfully there's a separate first and business class que jump", oh good, you don't have to mix with the commoners.
Glad to finally see Trek Trendy on a flight again!! Seeing SIA being reviewed (as a Singaporean) is just the cherry on top!
Beef Rendang is not "Singaporean" It's Indonesian bruh 😂
😂😂😂😂 😂I 😂😂
Honestly speaking, if you compare with other first class airlines and the time duration, this flight was a steal for 10k, wonderful review btw
Many-many thanks for a lovely trip report, and your knowledgeable comments
Always waiting for the funny air mist spray portion at the loo for a chukle. Having lobster thermidor inflight is really crazy, everything is so luxurious. Truly 1st class.
The first, and only time I had caviar, was on a United Airlines flight from London to Melbourne, via Los Angeles, on what was then called "connoisseur class" It was way back in 1992, I think before flatbed seats, but it was an experience I shall never forget, for all the good reasons. I hated the caviar though and haven't touched it since! I enjoyed your video, thanks for sharing.
Your videos are far beyond amazing ,the best videos l have ever seen
