Great bike! I understand your remark regarding the quickshifter and neutral, It took me a while to cope with it, but once you’re there it works perfect! I even dare to say this is the best gearboxe I’ve ever had... I wasn’t expecting that from Moto Guzzi, but it is what it is. I fully recommend it 👍👍 Thank you for your great review.
I love my s model. 12000klm in 3months. Only use it on long trips which is its natural habitat. My first Guzzi and After 30 new bikes I think this one is the keeper.
They do look the goods. I can see a lot of Moto Guzzi fans putting in an order. Shame the red version does not come in the S model. But that silver and green one would be my pick.
Hello from Colorado. Have 1,500 km on my green one. Neutral is no problem at all. Surprised to hear you think it puts out heat; compared to my Ducatis, I feel next to nothing. I use a tank bag for commuting or short trips, panniers are generous and easily go on and off the bike for touring. Wings are a bit useful in rain to keep it off your lap and have functioned flawlessly. Quick shifter is fine for upper gear changes. Handles beautifully and fun to ride. Power and torque are perfect for a sport/touring bike; plenty there. Is it Ducati or Aprilia RSV 4 impressive? Of course not. I’m looking forward to years of riding enjoyment on this bike. Been riding for decades. Great bike. Cheers.
Probably should have clarified with the heat, it was when commuting in Sydney traffic pretty much in the middle of summer so about 30-35 degrees Celsius. On cooler days and on country roads, no issue. Awesome bike, would love to own one. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment
Awesome bike, let us know which model you get. Yes aware of the new Moto II, we sell them and have just placed an order. Hoping the shipment comes in soon, will be listing them in the website next week
A lot of these manufacturers are now finally starting to install factory cruise control which has taken them far too long. I might now consider this bike for around travel and 200 mile or so trips. Wind comfort is also a great change.
Been looking forward to this review. That guzzi looks amazing to me. Solid and tough but also clean. I love the way it has the feel of a Naked with the style of a faired bike. My question is how is it to ride compared to a BMW R1250r or rs?
The Beemers are much more refined, even though the Guzzi has better electronics. The Guzzi is way more stylish and chic. Really hard to split between the R and the V100 but I reckon the V100 just nudges ahead.
Hi! I have a BMW R1250R. I am totally happy with the bike. But being familiar with Moto Guzzi and loving them- out of curiosity -If you had to choose between owning the R or the V100/Stelvio. Which one would you go for?
That’s a really tough choice to make, I’d probably go with the R1250R but would secretly yearn for the Guzzi. I think the Guzzi has more style, but the R is such a practical bike.
@@BikerTorque ha ha! Exactly how I feel! Just judging from my V7 and having ridden TT85 I know and like the way a Guzzi engine feels and sounds. But the BMW is way out there with its torque and the whole package. Anyway, I told myself I'll keep my R, but if it ever gets stolen or totalled I'd splash for the V100 or Stelvio😄 Those are the only two bikes that compete with the Beamer in my mind. Thank you for your reply!
A run up the Putty would be telling on the suspension, riding position and the protection of the fairing at higher speeds….Some description of the effectiveness of the suspension would be worthwhile. Cheers.
Suspension was excellent on Jamberoo Mountain Road and Saddleback Mountain Rd. Riding position was comfortable has mentioned, didn’t really feel the fairing being raised made any difference, a little bit of wind on, but not turbulent from memory
@@BikerTorque I’m seriously thinking of one but would like to see if someone has fitted lower handlebars. I’ve a Le Mans 1000 Mk 5 and would like to emulate its riding position which is perfect for me.
@@jamesroseby3823 take one for a test ride. As mentioned I wouldn’t be surprised if they release a new LeMans, or certainly something with clip ons, as the engine is an absolute joy. If I was in the market for a Sports Tourer it would be at the top of the list
I suspect you could be right. In fact I don’t know anyone who’s ridden a Guzzi that hasn’t fallen in love with the charm and character, especially the V7 models
It would be a tough choice, I’m on an R1250RT at the moment and that bike would be hard to beat as a fit for purpose tourer…but the Guzzi was just so much fun
"I don't mind the looks of this bike." "It's pretty decent." What?! 🤣What?!🤣 Talk about damning with faint praise. This bike is incredible-looking. I've never heard such lukewarm comments about the looks of this bike. 🤣
1) Hate the headlight. I didn't like it on the 850's, and I like it less here. 2) I think the Aero kit is uuugglly. I'm hoping (fingers crossed) after the Stelvio they drop a V100 Griso. Drop the Aero, Put on a round headlight.
Love my Guzzi v7 special.. mandellos are lovely to 😊 Pete
Yes they are!

Thanks for watching, glad to hear you love you bike
That ride through the National Park looked really fun!
Always is
I will definitely have to ride one. Love the look, I'm with you Ross, the red in the S model would be great.
Yes that red is awesome
Looked like a lot of fun. Love the look, I wonder how that style will age
I reckon it will age well, definitely better than me,lol

Definitely a keeper. Enjoy
Feels like 130hp✊🔥🔥faster then Bmw 1200R🤙Great review🤩
It does!
It is in the manual that quick-shifter is not to be used in 1st and 2nd gear!
There you go, that now makes sense. They don’t supply a user manual with the press bikes we get unfortunately
They do look the goods. I can see a lot of Moto Guzzi fans putting in an order.
Shame the red version does not come in the S model. But that silver and green one would be my pick.
100%
One of the best looking bikes there is.
Agree, thanks for watching

Hey Tazy, great to meet you mate. Will be back. The guzzi is an awesome bike
Another great bike for the stable Ross 😎🤙🏻
Love the Pearl white with gold rims🤩
honestly, they all look good
@@BikerTorque yes, but something about the Pearl white, and love the gold wheel😍
Glad you liked this bike. It’s probably my next one. Also spotted the Beeline Moto on the bars. Did you see the Moto 2 has just been launched? 😊

After just racking up nearly 5000kms in 10 days on tour I can now say I will never tour on a bike again that doesn’t have cruise control, brilliant
this struck me as direct competition to bikes like the Triumph Speed Twin.
Yes probably another worthy competitor
Wow motorcycle prices are high in Oz! Here in Canada my Mandello S came in at just under $20,000 CAD (about $22,600 AUD).
That a hell of a bike for the price. Yes, cost of everything is high in Australia. Thanks for watching, hope you found the video interesting
Bom dia amigo. Estou em Portugal.
Quando andou na moto alterou a precarga do amortecedor traseiro?
Ou manteve original?
Obrigado
Kept it stock. Thanks for watching

The neutral indicator is actually a small mechanical problem your mechanic will solve at the first service!
thanks for clarifying.
That neutral issue sounds like a fault. It has a positive neutral finder so it should be super easy to pop into neutral.
I’ve heard it’s something sorted at the bikes running in service
@@BikerTorque there is a clutch recall too so maybe it’s that.
How old is that engine?
When we filmed this the bike had done a couple of 1000 kms
