I bought one, and I LOVE it, I wanted a shaft drive adventure style bike, not because I wanted to go off road, but the seating position suits me, it's not the fastest, most powerful, or best handling bike I've had in 36 years of riding, but it does everything I want, and is plenty powerful for normal riding, dealers are offering big discounts, I think brand snobbery is putting some people off, new Stelvio's have a bit of a clunky gearbox that improves once they are run in. and almost every where I go I get people looking round the bike, nice to be different, if they introduce an active suspension version, I might be tempted to trade up.
I love the way it looks and the engine sounds great. The big plus is the driveshaft. I don't need 150hp. Hell I have a 50 hp Honda and I love it. I think people are to hung up on power when they should be better trained to ride.
Just shy of 7k miles on my Stelvio. Fantastic bike. The radar following software was pulled at the last minute, apparently it will be available early next year as a software upgrade. Personally I went for a bike without the radar and opted for the heated seat instead.
I’ve ridden 6,000 miles on mine, here and abroad, and I love it. BUT: The rear shock is harsh when riding solo. No amount of adjustment is able to make it perfect. The Active Cruise still does not exist, 9 months after its press launch. The heated grips are pathetic and even level 3 is insufficient for a cold day in England. Accessories can only be fitted by a Guzzi dealer so expect the cost to be doubled by the labour charges. The V100 engine is fabulous.
Purchased my Stelvio in March of this year, and I absolutely love the bike. I am coming off a 22 Ducati V4S travel and radar and I don't miss it in the least. Much prefer the Stelvio. Out of the 41 bikes I have owned this one rates in the top 3. Great machine!

This is the ONLY company that is developing it’s own Active Cruise Control (ACC) without relying on the Bosh like Ducati, BMW and the other manufacturers. That says a lot on the commitment of the company in its products. It just was not ready in time for the 2024 launch but will be retro-fit when ready. That’s what one of the factory employee told me at 2024 Montreal Motorcycle Show.
Chose the Stelvio over the Mandello S for road touring comfort, range, and occasional forest roads. Didn’t care about the radar and blind spot detection but glad it came with it. Dealer had no idea how to get adaptive cruise control, apparently a software option but nothing mentioned on their website. Regardless I won’t be needing it. Love my first Guzzi
The Stelvio is a great looking bike, it's a bit left field but it's well equipped and good value for money especially with the discounts being offered by dealers, the only negative is the dull colour options which are just boring, it's an Italian bike and therefore it really needs to be red, bright yellow, green or blue, other than that it's definitely a bike I would consider buying.
I'm another long-term and continuous BMW owner (8 BMWs, including 5 GS/GSAs, over 40 years) who will NOT be buying the new 1300GS (or even uglier, the 1300GSA) and am assessing my options. The Stelvio is currently at the top of my list.

Just want to highlight bend tire stem valves are standard on Moto Guzzis. It's such a convenient feature, I don't understand why other manufacturers don't adapt this practice!
I’ve ridden both the Stelvio and V100 Mandello, nearly 2000 miles on the V100, and near 500 on the Stelvio. It seemed to me perfection could be realized in a machine marrying the Stelvio’s rider ergonomics and protection to the Mandello chassis. Each has strong points that taken alone cover the weaker aspects of both configurations.
I have the Stelvio now. I came from a Breva 1100. Positive points: Very nice touring friendly and torque engine, Good handling, Good brakes, Good windprotection, very good light, nice looks but lots of plastic. Bad points: On start up revs to 2500, very high idle - 1500, Noisy exhaust when cruising - drone into helmet, No centre stand as standard, even low seat feels high and comfort seat is not comfort, gesr box is set up short - I am forever fishing for a seventh gear.
If Piaggio Group developed a distribution model that expanded authorized service locations without increasing dealerships I’d consider buying a Guzzi. Then again, maybe manufacturing scarcity is their goal?
I have one with the heated grips and seat. The heated grips are quite weak, but the seat-oh my god, even on 2/3 setting, it'll cook your eggs. I wouldn't use the max setting unless it's less than 30°F.
You get a fully equipped V850TT for the price of a standard Stelvio and when you tried both, you may not miss the extra power and/or features of the Stelvio. So, I guess the Stelvio will not be very successful.
Rode a V85 the other week and while it’s a great bike the power left something to be desired for me, especially if I would load it up with the mrs and luggage. Apart from that the service intervals on the air-cooled engines is, well, let’s call it ‘vintage’. And my legs got quite warm dispite it being a fairly cold day. I really wanted to love the V85. Price on this example was more than fair. But I couldn’t. So I stay on my current Tracer until I save up for the Stelvio/Africa Twin/Tiger 900/whatever I want when I find it.

I don't know, I owned a V85TT and other comment is right - it was a tad small/lacking if you want to load it up and with a passenger. Perfectly fine on your own, though - one of my favorite all time bikes! And especially a steal at the entry price. I found a new/old stock and paid nothing and loved every minute!
I bought the Stelvio ARAS in summer, the ACC was not available then and is still not available. It should come in a form of software update, so I hope that MG will keep their promise, but it is really a shady marketing to advertise feature that does not exists.
I quite liked the V85 when I had a test ride. I'd be open to a Guzzi with a more modern engine but IMO the styling on this one is bland compared with the V85! If they do a smaller liquid cooled engine in future and stick it in a lighter and more retro looking bike maybe that would be the one for me.
😅 I really like the 19/17 wheel combinations on ADVs for the most part, They are street bikes that you can bring off highway.. They're not their bikes that you can ride on the street❤
In general, really beautiful, BUT I can't get past the engine sticking out. Not as bad as BMWs boxer with cinder blocks sticking out, but still don't like stuff sticking out of the side of a bike.
I will not own a chain driven bike. The Guzzi appears to be plenty of bike without having to pay the BMW GS price. By the time you option it out, the higher cost of the BMW just isn’t worth it.
No electronic suspension, big miss and since they have the tech in the Mandello S... doesn't make any sense not to offer it. Go figure the idiots of marketing at MG.
The Africa Twin, the Stelvio, Desert X and Triumph Scrambler are the most beautiful bikes you can buy with a 21 inch front. Every other adventure bike is fugly
Gotta disagree on that. I traded in my 950s Multi for the Stelvio. The v is better across the frame (lovely vibes compared to the higher frequency noise and vibes from every Ducati Twin I’ve ridden in the last 40 years), and the Stelvio although heavier, feels less top-heavy.

Once you have owned a shaft driven bike, there’s no going back to chains.
I rode one of these during the summer, and I really loved it. It's a little bit too small for me to own, but it's still a very lovely bike

From an Italian folk a comment on color schemes: it’s a Guzzi, so it’s more subdued, sort of classy old money. Not posh high end sporty bike. :)

Test rode one in the Spring, thought it was great. Just let down by lack of ample dealer support in the UK

It has regular cruise control, just not active following cruise control (yet).

Moto Guzzi/Piaggio group dealer back up and customer service definitely needs improvement.

I test rode one and thought the gearbox was nasty and had a very fast idle and noisy engine, maybe it was faulty! But gone for the tiger 900 now.
I tested 2 before I committed to buying one, the gearbox improves very quickly, and was a lot better by the first service.
