Personally I think they nailed the styling on the Panigale V2, I think the front is a great modern interpretation of the old 916. And those two exhaust pipes look awesome, I'm sure they will make it sound good too!
I’m torn between “120HP is more than enough for most riders” and “downsizing the V2 doesn’t make sense”; the old V2 was a legitimate track option as a SuperSport that wasn’t as crazy/ridiculous to ride as the litre bikes but the new V2 just makes sense for general road use.
Most people will convince themselves they NEED +200HP when they don’t even go on track; people are free to spend their money how they want but a lot of these machines end up being under-utilized
Love the new under seat cans on the V2 streetfighter but still not convinced that the slightly reduced weight will make up for less power, what’s wrong with giving it more power and selling shit loads? Hope they offer you one for a test soon Bob
I think they were targeting the MT-09, Z900 etc. with that one. I get the idea that making two separate V-twin engines (one for more mid-range torque and less peak power, and the other vice versa) is probably not a great financial plan in times like these, so they went with the option that seemed more sensible and more competitive. After all, 120hp is plenty of power on a 176kg bike and that should serve the vast majority of riders well. But if you do want more power you can still get the V4.
Every couple of decades Ducati messes up, this is one of those times. I grabbed a 'final edition' hopefully it will last me till we get past this period.
Overall, Ducati seem to be moving in the wrong direction regarding my tastes. The "pant job" on the Desert X looks to be stickers over orange peel, the downgrade in HP on the V2 models and the loss of a single sided swingarm. Im sure folks are tired of hearing it but I want my Italian (expensive) bike to perform and be beautiful. Ducati is full of excuses these days. Those of us that loved the brand and the unique design elements such as the swing arm, trellis framed Monster etc, we can shift our dollars to the used market, not sure that favors Ducati's bottom line however.
These Bikes are just stupidly priced!... I bought a Hyabusa in 1999 when they came out cos me £8600... £18500 now I saw one at! Just mental! Not to mention how much insurance would be for anyone under 25!......
If you’re poor, just say it if you don’t wanna buy it then don’t buy it, but I don’t wanna hear about how you’re gonna complain about a brand when you probably don’t even own one
Meh. Not the ideal response for a new Ducati lineup... But really, the the V4 is uglier with possible marginal gains for a TT level rider. The V2 has been cheapened and down-specced; the Multistrada getting very long in the tooth with looks only a mother could love. Pricing across the range is huge, although the Panigales are relatively cheaper than they were (when people wanted them). This is a range hanging on, with only the Desert X and Monsters offering much progress. But the parents are in dire trouble, so no surprise.
I laughed when I saw the word best used to describe anything about Ducati. Ducatis are worse than Chinese bikes. They are absolute rubbish. Nothing mechanical made in Italy is reliable. Why on earth motorcycle channels go on about Ducatis tells me they get well compensated to talk about the rubbish they make.
Streetfighter V2 only $13,999! You forgot to mention the Honda Hornet with 150 hp for $9,999 as an option, but then again, you wouldn't dare. You also forgot to mention the Scrambler is made in Thailand...not Italy! Did Ducati fix the overheating problems with the Scrambler rear cylinder? Owners were burning their legs while stopped in traffic, when they complained, Ducati told them to get off and push it! All these bikes mentioned and not one word about Euro 5 emissions like you did with all the Japanese bikes you covered! You've become a corporate shill for European bikes!

OOOOOOOH YEH! Been waiting for this one!
Happy Holidays, MB Community!

no diavel?
120HP is more than enough for 90% of the riders out there.

V2 S is beautiful. Desert X loaded is a good one more practical and a bargain with all the options. The flat black scramble too. simple.

Does the new version of the desert X have different tires compared to the standard since it’s more touring focused?
When will we see the panigale and sfv2 being tested? Looking forward to hearing the new engine
Was really hoping that Ducati will bring out this year new Ducati Scrambler 1100 or Scrambler Desert Sled 😊❤.
Great video keep it up 🤟🤟
The 916, best looking Ducati ever

Cylinder deactivation, big bad idea. Some cars have this and their engines don't last.
The Ducati version is only operable at idle which is a tiny portion of operating where the car systems do it at higher operating speeds.
What about the Ducati Street Fighter V4 and V4S ?
The Scrambler exhaust still looks like an afterthought
120 CV, buen par motor, peso ligero, suspensión de calidad, frenos brillantes, ese nombre y pintura roja, suena como una moto absolutamente perfecta.
As a V2s owner I love the styling of the new bike, but it’s a bit minty & lost the classic demo engine. Will see after a test ride in the new year
Girl at 10:10 is a 10
😍🔥
And the new V4R is coming when???. . . .☮️ 🤙
Is there anything new for the supersport for 2025?
Yes please! i am waiting to see how the new supersport comes. if not. used supersport from 2020 (10k here in Sweden in Mint conditions)
Wonder when the Monster with the new engine will land??
Nice paint job on the desert X? All that orange peel. Shocking
V2 lost the desmo distribution and 30 ponies. But it is dearer than the previous version
Monster
120 horses. I’m sure loads won’t buy it for that alone. I wouldn’t.
Especially since that won't even be at the wheel.
The street fighter v2 just seems to expensive, especially with Hondas new offering.
RE Panigale: The dual sided swing arm is a red herring. The true problem is it is now ugly.
Hate the winglets
Hmmmm Looks similar with the 450MT….😊
Half the bike of a V4S for half (60%) of the money, no thanks. What’s next an incredible looking moped for £8K.

Desert x
Ducati----lets make our bikes unservicable by owners making things extra complicated and costly to maintain....Rather get Z900RS
Come on ? No body buys a Ferrari or Lamborghini because it’s reliable or easy to work on .. don’t complain just don’t buy ..
@rlpatton1970 there is a difference 500k to million dollar car and a motorcycle
Not comparable

@@rubo1964why doesn’t the whole world just buy Honda and Toyota cars ? Then your logic works ..
This is why I didn’t buy the X. I have my own shop with a lift and I like to work on all my own bikes. I also ride 20k miles a year.

Street fighter
No single sided swing arm means no buy.
I don’t like the new panigale

@ BLA BLA BLA who is being childish here is you, it’s just my opinion about a bike.

Ducati are just over priced, lets stick a paint job on and charge you £10k joke.
Paint Job lol…… “Decals”
228 bhp & £30k … for rich posers
