jdmnsxr 6, you should take your I own advice. Acura is another brand. It was created by Honda to sell upmarket products to North America. So while I could purchase a NSX in the states it would be badged as Acura not Honda. Unless you are a mechanic I am fairly certain that I know more about Hondas than you do. I own five. S2000, Civic, Ridgeline, CBR, and Trail Winder. That last one is a mountain, bike if you where wondering. So give give your fingers a rest and get back to guarding your bridge.

A Honda Prelude history vid would be cool!! I owned a 1989, white prelude SI, with 4ws, from 1994-2003, and currently own a pearl white, 2001prelude base model, 5 speed, since 2002, with 69k. Super reliable, overlooked cars!!
Had two friends. One with a 93 and the other with a 97. They are nice cars. I'll keep that one in mind.

S2k is my dream car period at any price range people may not understand but I'd take the s2k over any exotic car I'm obsessed with the s2000 saving for one pass 3 years can't wait to have the keys in my hand.. Awesome info video keep em coming specific to Honda content but I respect all cara something that's rare in the car world too many people sooking over this brand is better then this we should all respect another person's build we all love the sane thing CARS..

sales went down bc people wanted the f20 motor in it and didnt like the ealier redline. Everybody wanted 9k red line even tho they got more torque. Moral of the story is people are never happy

I miss the S2000, but I think that it was necessary for it to go away. It was a halo car that Honda didn't really need and was basically its 50th birthday present to their customers. Its absence makes the fanbase want a new one even more. Want proof? Look at the response of people interested in a new Supra over a new 370Z.

The S2000 didn't get it's name from having 2.0 liter engine my friend, it was named S2000 because Honda wanted to give it a special name to celebrate Honda's 50th ANNIVERSARY in the Automobile industry in the year 2000. At least that's what the guy that designed it and the NSX said.
Think about it and you'll see why they don't call the AP2 S2200 mmm.
I dont think it wouldve changed much. Maybe it would get a hardtop of some sort because thats something miatas didnt have (i dont think they offered it anyways)

I love the s2k, but for almost the same price can get a used 370z which revs almost just as high, but more power, better sounding exhaust and audio, and nicer interior..so I think the z will be my next purchase over the cars you listed in description
That is the debate with the S2k and 370Z. It's really only a decision you can personally make.

Revs Alot the s2000 is 10+ years old.. Coplmpare it to a 350z.. Doesn't come close. The 370z is newer. Pretty biased I'd say..
B. Son I'm not hating on the s2k I'm a Honda fanboy lol...just for what they go for now and the km id personally choose the 370z, but yah 350z would be more comparable and it's cheaper..id pick the s2k over a 350 though
Revs Alot all good man. No problems here. Before I got my s2k I was looking at 370z myself. But I found one in great condition. 2004 with 27k miles and 1 owner. I still own it, been 3 years and now I track it.

If they're going to launch a new S car (wich I don't think they will) i'd like for it to be like this:
Name: S3500
Engine: Same 3.5L V6 used in the NSX but without all that hybrid stuff
Power: Around 350 to 400 hp should suffice
Competitors: Maybe the Porsche 718 Boxster since it's also a roadster
I'd like to know what you think about this idea, I don't think that is going to happen any time soon but I can still dream
Starfire Storm in that event, it's unlikely. Honda has bailed out of sport cars and just recently came back with the civic type r. With a successor to the s2000, I think Honda should not make one without enough engineering finesse.

If they made a 3rd gen it probably just would've been a boring rwd turbo 4 banger like every other car. Fast and economical, but you lose the excitement of the high revving nature and the NA intake sounds.

It would have died eventually anyway, unfortunately. Ten years later, here we are, and the legendary VTEC is dying. An S2000 without VTEC is basically a...Miata.
