Pickle-Os are shipped to the store frozen. Like the cheddar peppers and moz sticks. The only thing they make in store is onion rings. Don’t try to order pickle-Os if they’re not on the menu lmao
I've asked a various Sonics for the pick-o-los and they never have them. To bad because they were really good.

Our sonic has a timer in the fryer for pickle-o's, we just don't sell them

Some secret menus items you can really just act as a special order to a regular item. Most are just annoy bs though.

I just order the mcdouble with a mchicken amd make it myself but I put the mcchicken between the two patties bread and all :)

My man worked at sonic when he was a teen and he orders the extreme tots as long as I have known him. He has me hooked on them 😋 he also has them add ketchup to his.

If there isn’t a button for it then they won’t make it bc the manager can account for it on the inventory. Or if they allow it the kitchen will go nuts wondering what the +- stands for.
Nahh at our sonic we welcome custom orders. It gives us a chance to try other peoples ideas.
With some acceptions. Especially if you word it properly. Don't ask for a slap your mama slush. Ask for a lemonaid slush with sprite and blue raspberry.

If you ever want a really good off menu drink, ask for a Jimmy Connor or a Sonic Sunrise. Jimmy Connors are cherry limeades with raspberry, vanilla and cranberry flavoring and Sonic Sunrises are cherry limeades with orange juice.
In The early 90's I found Sonic while Statoned in Oklahoma. 💯👏
When I worked at sonic in 2007 I would make grilled cheese with bacon on the regular. Never made one with ham that I could recall.
Our Sonic now doesn’t even have ham

i work at sonic and my personal secret menu consists of a bunger, which is a burger but i squirt ketchup all over the burger after i finish it
I hope this gets enough likes, but I gotta make these corrections. These are really outdated.
1. We don't hand make our onion rings anymore. They're frozen. And we don't ever carry pickle os anymore. We have pickle fries sometimes.
2. We don't do extreme tots all the time because we don't have a squeeze bottle with ranch. Food safety reason.
3. Pretty accurate. However, my Sonic won't sell one. But you can order two jr. Frito chilli cheese burrito without the tortilla. If they're available.
4. We do not have extreme popcorn chicken. I wish. We won't tell you no if you want to order it with chilli and cheese though.
5. I have never heard of the heart attack. But again, you can order this. You'll have to add your own ranch and it'll probably cost a pretty penny. Chili cheese tots with bacon and jalapenos with a five piece strip and sides of ranch.
6. Frankly, just get the Bacon Cheeseburger Toaster. It's not a secret.
7. This is not available. I don't know what this is. Nor do they seem to. We also don't have any banana pieces anymore.
8. Bet. We can do this for sure. Limeade slush with lemonaid and raspberry. I suggest blue raspberry. It's more sour.
Also Sonic does not offer ham and cheese sandwiches. Because there is nothing on menu that requires it, most Sonics do not carry ham on hand.
This makes me hungry 😳
Don't forget three of best drinks not on the menu anymore. And haven't for a very long time. Mainly because of their names. One was called The Blue Boy, I can't remember the names for the other two. The Blue Boy and another are basically the same thing with one difference. They are a Sprite with half and half cream. The Blue Boy has blue coconut syrup and the other has cherry syrup. Both good but I like the Blue Boy. The last is Dr Pepper with vanilla and half and half cream. This is my favorite.
I find it scary that im old enough to remember fritos corn chips in those bags and the commercial. Which according to doctors I should'nt be eating the stuff at sonic. Good thing I dont go to doctors! I like bliss!
They NEVER make Frito Chili Pies anymore. They will tell you they dont carry fritos anymore.
Fritos are back for December. I am from texas, Rowlett. At least they are back here for this month
We only have them a couple of months out of the year, put not as pies only wraps
All of the Sonics have dissapeared from my region...but the commercials are on daily,which is strange.

if you ask for any of these at any sonic you will be able to feel the confused and angry look through the drive in order speaker.
Ask for the secret menu at a particular south-side OKC location and you won't get any food-based items. But don't leave BC you'll have the munchies. 🍔🍟🌭

No one is going to make you pickle 'O's, ham isn't on the menu in most markets, so NO, you won't get that either. Also, the bread is not buttered, the cheese for the frito pies is cheddar, not nacho and no one has ever asked for Popcorn chicken with chili and cheese in my 23 years. The "Heart attack" is another that I've never seen in 23 years with Sonic. The Hickory burger used to be a menu item but is no longer, at least in parts of the country. Sonic does not sell smoothies either. Order it for yourself and just see what happens.....You'll be picking a different drink! We don't have frozen yogurt either. No way anyone will make a "Slap your Mama" slush. Granted Sonic does not sell a consistant menu across the country as some items are regional so you may get some of this in certain parts of the country.
We can't even make pickle O's if we wanted to anymore. No more batter. There is butter on the bread for grilled cheeses... They even updated the way we made them recently to nitpick the shape we made with the butter.
(Also you ask for the slap your mama properly they will. Just don't try calling it that.)
Only good thing at Sonic is the ice.

As a sonic owner operator I can tell you that this list is a completely false, I have been with sonic for over 11 years, extreme tots where taken off the menu in 2007, we only had pickleos for a short time and they came frozen, we did not make them ourselves, we did away with smoothies about 9 years ago, we don’t even carry the stuff to make them any more, as for the hickory burger we have what is called the bacon cheeseburger toaster that has the hickory sauce and onion rings on it and it comes in a combo, as for the chili cheese tots with chicken strips or popcorn chicken with chili cheese never heard or seen them, and the grilled cheese is available on our value menu, I don’t know where you got your info from! And we only have Fritos available a couple of months out of the year and they come on wraps.
They can get some of these with some fanagling. But we do have extreme tots.
