@@TenshinhanIsKing Most fast food is not unhealthy in itself, so eaten as an occasional meal it is fine.
The problem is that most of it is eaten between meals, totally disrupting the sequence of the bodies digestive system. The odd sticky bun between meals digests fairly fast, but digesting meat is a different matter.
With todays automation, we all do less physical work than in the past. While our body therefore requires less food, most of us eat more, therefore producing excess blood sugars that our bodies convert into fat.

You won't really notice it because it's a slow process that can take years or even decades but once your body reached the tolerance limit it will show it with funny things like diabetes, cardiac arrhythmias, high blood pressure, articular gout, ... and a lot of other 'fun' stuff.

McDonald's Burgers for me taste oddly wholesome. It's familiar and comforting. Reminds me of when I was 9 and my parents and I would always stop by a McDonald's on Sundays due to how busy we were.
I think it's the same feeling for a lot of people. It might not be amazing or a profoundly changing food experience, but it's reliable and almost nostalgic, something we can always rely on.

I stopped eating fast food for a year and my digestion really improved. One day, I was in a hurry so, I bought a quarter pounder with cheese and a filet-o-fish. The quarter pounder tasted a little too salty but that filet-o-fish is still da-bomb! The prices, however, are ridiculous. Better and less expensive burgers are at Carl's JR(Jalapeno Double is only $3.49) and the spicy chicken at Wendy's is the best when you really need something great, in a hurry.

My grandfather used to own a couple McDonald's franchises after starting on the line and working his way up to manager, then promoted to corporate (back when that was actually a thing unlike today). He once went on an inspection of a ketchup producer for McDonalds while he was working for Corporate in the early 1980s. He caught a worker taking a number 2 in one of the ketchup vats. The producer was failed and they no longer produce ketchup for McDonalds, and my grandfather never ate ketchup again as the memory still haunted him till the day he died.
It is good idea at 9:37 that they now make the producers cook and eat their own product before the batch goes out. Probably helps a lot to prevent incidents like what my grandfather saw.

So people who grew up with that still get weird childish feelings every time they go to McDs in adulthood. When they taste the awful food, it's like a comfort blanket that speaks to a part of your brain from long ago, back when you were a kid and things were simple.

Recently I was completely taken aback when I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese as I was on a cross country road trip. I rarely order a double quarter pounder with cheese, it usually is a quarter pounder with cheese and even then that’s maybe ten times in a year. This was by far the best double quarter pounder with cheese I had eaten in a long time. I ordered inside and ate it on their exterior distanced seating given COVID19 regulations. It was freshly made, the two patties were huge, juicy hot, larger than the bun which as large as the box container it came in. It was so good that five minutes later I went back in and ordered another just to see whether this was a fluke. Well, it was not. The second one was as piping hot, two large patties, etc.., I kept thinking that I was eating a burger made in a diner and made just right. Definitely this particular location had a very high quality and consistently pumped out that standard of food. I will have to see the next time I can make it there, as it’s a small city or town halfway across the country. I am reluctant to order one here in my my hometown as I doubt that it will be as good.

@Luecis Turner, I really like McDonald’s but I really don’t think chicken sandwich or nuggets , are very tasty and I’ve totally gone off McDonald’s fries. Regardless if I buy in store or via UberEats delivery, the fries are either really hard or really pale and undercooked. I personally love quarter pounder / double quarter pounder with cheese and I really like double and triple cheese burger with bacon. I also really love the caramel galaxy McFlurry and sugar donuts are great, when they are not stale and totally soft. I absolutely love McDonald’s coke and I love McDonald’s breakfast. Breakfast roll is amazing in the cold morning. I get it with extra sausage and 2 hash browns. I’m in U.K. and our menu isn’t very adventurous. It would be nice to have more items on the menu but oh well. I find some items to be pretty good value and others a bit expensive. For example, my local McDonald’s sells 1 hash brown for 99p and they also sell a cheeseburger for the same price at 99p. With that in mind, the hash brown is way overpriced. Hash brown should be around 49p. Then you have the breakfast roll with bacon egg sausage, cheese for £3.59p and a plain bacon roll coats £3.50p. Bacon roll should be around £1.59 considering it only has few rashers of bacon and nothing else. Then you have 6 nuggets at around £3.59 and 20 nuggets only cost £5.19. It’s great if you buy the better value option but not so on the more expensive things. I just can’t understand how a bacon roll cost practically the same as bacon cheese egg and sausage.

They remedied that briefly a couple decades ago with the McDLT, but it was pretty crappy since the whole thing was always cold (and they put the cheese on the cold side so it didn't melt). However, recently, they started making a burger for adults - the Quarter Pounder Deluxe! That is precisely why the founders of Mcdonalds were against complicating the simple burger. They wanted something that was hot and fresh and not weighed down by items that would soggy up the bun or chill down the burger. I have said for years tomatoes have no place on a burger and I am sticking to it

So I worked at McDonald's for 7 months years ago, like 2017. I can tell you guys that their beef is killer. Its just fatty enough to not be gross and give it plenty of really good flavor. I used to love making a quarter pounder or mc double for myself. Idk i love how simple their burgers are. When you really think about it, the signature McDonald's taste comes from their cheese and their buns - period.
