Microphone fixed & operational - more content coming very soon ! Stay tuned for a comprehensive emperor DLC video ahead of it's June 9th release date, hype is real!
When are we getting the horse empire in ck2 part 2?
When are we getting Appalachia as a colonial region
A QUESTION YOU SHOULD NEVER ASK
As a Appalachian Ohioan myself I must say this much
HOPEFULLY NEVER APPALACHIA IS THE LAST THING WE NEED IN MAP GAMES
Also how long before rush Berlin gets replaced with rush Athens
Athens Ohio
Rush B nah Rush A yah
you got a modlist for your visual mods?
Spiffing!
If spiffing Brit played England again he’d probably form the Yuan dynasty after conquering Persia with free mercenaries
He played England recently
idk why people act like he's some god exploiter when he barely knows how to play the games he touches
Richard Vlášek why not? Lol
While being ultra annoying with his terrible accent
@@richardvlasek2445 people tell him almost every single exploit, and he makes videos on it
Boyars: We need a new capital!
Peter The Great: Let's move to Texas!
Texas the greatest time fot Russians, no need any Crimeas!
Смешно... смешно...
Alzabo shouting out to Spiffing Brit is hilarious.
Its funny just how bad his English accent was :P
@@ScreamingManiac that sheep bleet made me jump
it sounded a little like a chinese accent lol
perfectly balanced as always
Just yesterday I was thinking: "Damn I really wanna play a colonial game, don't really know which one" then this pops up. Perfect timing
The same
Same wtf! :D Every nation that I want to play when Emperor dlc goes live, isn't a colonial nation/empire, perfect timing indeed!
Colonial games are always my most boring games
@@lcis7995 for me its the opposite blobbing games are boring once you get powerful
Japan: +20 settlers increase: “respectable bonus”
Ternate: +20 settlers increase: “modest bonus”
🤔
Respectable = modest is the same
what is the thinking for they're not opposites at all.
@@mori5481 probably not equating the two. Probably treating respect higher up on the list than modest
Maybe Japaners are more respectable people, because they respect you back if you respectem
@@Milanin8 tho they're upto the word's user to inteprit them as higher or lower than each other, modesty and respect go hand in hand universally as in meaning the same in concept
#1: Prussia. Just conquer everyone’s colonies!!
If you haven't a navy power How u can take
@@batuhanyayla7214 you are prussia you don't need boats your highly trained +69 discipline space marines just walk there water is no issue water doesn't exist for Prussian space Marines
@@batuhanyayla7214 first conquer half of france
Then conquer half their colonies
Succes, you have a foothold in the new world, now you can show them the art of stackwipe
@@MrDwarfpitcher Or better;
Start by conquering half of France, then conqueror the other half of France. You now control all their colonies.
I did,I was at was with Netherlands and Rather than taking land,I took Brazil and Africa, the Rest in History.
Alright, I’m totally going play Russia, move my capital to north america, then crave a US shaped Russia...
you gonna win the cold war before the US even exist, great
how to move the capital? you cannot with new rules..you need to move to 1 land
@@Orland89 You can take land in NA, form Russia and then lose your land on purpose (selling territory, giving to vassal, losing wars). Feels super counter intuitive but it turns out to be worth it in the end once you absorb NA and SA and can retake your cores in Eurasia
Commissar,this Guy here.
Please commence Exterminatus.
@@AlzaboHD i know that you can, but you need to have only one land in europe
Siberian Frontiers are actually insanely good, it costs barely anything and you don't even need to pay for them or have a colonist, plus there's the Ekaterinburg event
What is the Ekaterinburg event?
Allan Gregory that is a state secret
When I get bored I just play Portugal and I play my fav game: Don't let France,England,Spain,Holland in America
Same ahaha once I made impossible for their colonial range to colonize until I forgot a tiny island. France took it, I was massive and stronger, declared war against the blue blob so I would be the only one to colonize.. To summarize, I lost
i dont like to go to new world its just boring and not worth it asia and africa are so op for portugal especially because u can reach it in about 1480
@@naze2659 If you play spain, the new world is very important. Tons of gold that outweighs inflation, use that money to undermine france
Yankee: Postcolonial Nation
Me, a European: *EX*-_Colonial Nation_
Wow this is pretty obvious
Number 1 is clearly dithmarchen
and dont forget the obvious number 2: Theodoro.
Dithmarchen for world revolution vs Russia for socialism in one country WHO WILL WIN?
@@AlzaboHD smh trot

@@AlzaboHD have you not learn from the lesson of hemmongstedt?
That "Советский Союз" was especially good. I love how you always pay attention to pronunciation.
Also great video as always.
Spasibo - I've been listening to a bit of Ансамбль Александрова recently and felt the need to do it justice!
Yeah, this was spot on. However as a Russian I do find it odd that 16th century Russia is still associated with the USSR. But in eu4 that seems to be a general thing. Turkey is always kebab, France is baguette, then OK, Russia can be commie.
G E K O L O N I S E E R D
I was honestly surprised that the Dutch wasn't on this list also
@@tmas-yv1nr compared to these 10 it's actually pretty hard (just in comparison) to form the Netherlands and colonize anything. There are a lot of nations in a better position as them, such as Bretagne, Morroco or even Irish minors.
@@Lancor84 The Netherlands is probably better than Irish minors, but you're somewhat right
Actually I just did the Luck of Irish achievement and had colonized canada, thirteen colonies and caribbean before even forming Ireland as Desmond. İt was really fun.
COLONIZADO, HOLANDÊS DUM CARALHO
Why were the netherlands not included though? Their mission tree is way better with colonization then norway
It was a tough choice but at the end I felt the temorary modifiers via dutch missions were still not as great as Norway's permanent national idea modifiers
@@AlzaboHD i guess emperor will switch things up a little bit...
It's also pretty hard to colonize as the netherlands (or holland, or whoever you plan to form them as) until the mid 1500's since you're so far away from colonizable provinces and you start off tiny. I feel like Norway can get off to a much faster start after a quick independence war
I geuss its more about the ducats when you play as the netherlands though I have to say that I had no difficulty colonizing the entirity of north america starting of as Gelre.
RaidsEpicly while it does take longer than other powers, never taken me THAT long. I’d say by like 1495, 1500 at the latest I can have a colony starting in Paramaribo
I’m very happy that Portugal is #2, amazing video as always, nice work!
I would watch a "top ten carpets I like" if it was made by AlazoHD
He must do it on April Fools
Dear God that Spiff impression
Damn, I was going into this video fully expecting to complain that Ternate wasn’t on the list.
you nailed the spiffing brit impersonation :D Good video mate, youre the only one who makes the "top ten" formula intresting. Keep up the good work! :)
Thanks I really appreciate it!
Maybe make a list on sort of 'sleeper' or secretly powerful nations? There are some picks that are unassuming on the face of it but can be beastial if built up right.
Great video! Ternate used to be my favorite country, too bad that they replaced the +1 colonist with +20 colonial growth
Thanks! I know right - I remember the good days. That happened ages ago, what a shame!
That Spiffing Brit cameo @ 7:22 was truly majestic!
All hail Lord Sir Reverend Spiff!
That Spiffing Brit impression is on point, I think Yorkshire Tea has helped out a lot. But then again, ladys & gentlemen, was that all?
It’s funny, I was just in the mood to play another Colonial campaign, such perfect timing Alzabo. Fantastic video as always.
the same for me bro
Interesting how Russia seems to be at the top of quite a few of your lists... what kind of name is Alzabo anyway
Lol Alzabo isn't Russian, it's an extra-dimensional entity that absorbs the life force of its victims in Gene Wolfe's "The Book of the New Sun"
@@AlzaboHD The only difference is that you're in HD and play EU4
More like Alzabeu4HD am i right?
Alzabski or Alzabov for a Russian version of the name. More or less. Hell, Comrade Alzabov does sound cool.
so the story here is that this guy doesn't like Russia irl, maybe hates them, and gets triggered how they have God tier potential in a video game... Xdd
Not being biased here, I'm a Byzantine enthusiast yet I don't feel a thing about how ottomans have overpowered potential over a map painting simulator...
yea this is the first video ive seen from you in over a year! in my feed anyway
I was wondering if you could do an update to the 3 mountains achievement, your old vid gets the basics down but the hosogawa ai has changed since then and it’s borderline impossible to get the enforce peace in time
Ahhh I guess it was only a matter of time before the strategy stopped working. Once Emperor is out I'll see if I can get another strategy out - the game is about to change a whole lot with the new update in June so it's best to wait then until trying one out. Thanks for letting me know!
You can take the shogun title in a regular fight after few decades of thourough expansion. The good thing about the daimyos is that they can't attack you after you can take their land with enforce peace.
I know, this is not what people look for, I'm just bragging :)
I really hope that your UK overview was a nod to The SpiffingBrit because it was spot on if that what you were going for. love your videos.
Indeed it was! Thanks for watching
There’s been no Attestation Derogatoire for a week now and your still inside making videos. Fair play.
Ha most stuff here in Paris is still closed. Not really worth risking life if only clothing stores / hair salons are re opened lol
Btw, are you considering doing a top 10 new tags for the Emperor Expansion?
There could also be a top 10 European OPMs since now there will be much more of them.
Finally some good eu4 content.
I've been thinking. You should make a video about the best CK2 ported cultures into EUIV. As far as i recall, the Norse and some other minor cultures get some small bonuses in EUIV when ported from CK2.
#5 was just spiffy, well done
Dutch viewers are sobbing
Netherlands is really great but unfortunately don't offer any national ideas that benefit colonization or exploration. I really wanted to add them!
Very nice, AlzaboHD
Thanks!
thanks for ur high quality content....keep it up
Thanks, will do!
Yay! You are back! :)
That spiffing Brit reference was the best part of this video
Love your videos keep the great work up!
Thanks for watching!
@@AlzaboHD No problem!
After the Emperor patch the Dutch also look like they might make a case to get on this list, depending on the actual rewards for the colonization missions added.
Top 10 underrated/surprising colonial nations
Keep up the eu4 content!
Stable video 👍
Oddly enough I wasn't subscribed until just now but RUclips actually likes to give me notifications of your uploads from time to time... A day later but 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for the support!
You were losing me with that British impression, then you played the trump card of "Yorkshire Tea" it stirred this Yorkshireman's soul.
I’ve found Aragon to be good too as well as Germany and Italy. It takes longer to get started as Germany or Italy because early game you’re typically more focused on unification, but as those two nations you can still easily start it and will certainly wind up at war with a lot of colonizers at some point and thus be able to conquer their colonies as well. I’ve also always found Aragon to be an underrated nation; I feel Castille and Portugal are far more popular.
by the time you form either Germany or Italy Spain would have colonized the world
I give that spiff impression 69/80 tea bags from a box of fresh Yorkshire tea.
You are very underrated
I had my greatest Colonial game as Ireland surprisingly.
Me 2
Hey guys i have question. Im currently in a campaign playing as tuscany and i can form Italy. Are the tuscan ir the italian ideas better?
Spain not top 1.
The Spanish Inquisition will remember that.
*Pedro Menendez did not like that*
None had expected us...
The 10 strongest unusual colonial powers would be a nice touch
Idea: top best/worst events in EU4
the Dutch deserve an honorable mention... they just make so much money and with the next expansion and I going to get a lot of cologne you ideas and ambitions
I like how he just gave up on the British accent like halfway through doing it
Whoa, how did you get the Spiffing Brit on as a guest?
If you do a video on Belgium/nation in that area, do an impression of ISP.
NEW ALZBOOOOOOOO
Great video. How do you modify the camera angles in game like you do in your nation presentations?
Thanks! You can open the console "~" and type "enable_game_controller" and zoom / pan / rotate the map with an Xbox 360 or other USB compatible game controller. Hope that helps!
What map graphic mod do you use?
I've had fun playing Brittany several times. It has great potential for early colonization, if not for the poor national ideas. I never failed to form a huge empire every single time...well, except for the times France turned into a rival.
Well I am finishing my last final today so this came just in time
can you do a video on the cossacks, ruthenia and zapohzie
You missed the advantage in the English Parliament - +1 colonist and +20 settlers per year.
Since parliamentary issues change every month, you can run this issue almost permanently. A few less cliches might have been nice too.
7:41 a surprise "spiffing brit" you never excepted in the middle of a video
Somehow I miss the Mamluks in this list, they always get to Australia XD.
Ironside intro plays
ISP: shakes in anger
Can you do a Stellaris top 10 like top 10 best civics
It could be cool because Stellaris is free on steam this weekend
How do you go about giving the vassal all your land without them rebelling and without the hundreds or thousands of diplomatic power to reannex it all?
I love how you called killing indigenous people’s a war crime. Thank you for acknowledging that.
I already knew Portugal was gonna be one of these even though i don't play nor have a computer or laptop to play it on. (Sadly)
Honorable mention to the mamluks, who as AI, will almost always take colonization and expand into the Indian + Pacific.
Carib also can move to Cuba or Haiti from the start of the game (4th migration). High production area, where will be running into hundrends of ducats per month.
Only need to sell 1 province (un-developed) to a colonial nation, and off goes one of the strongest countries in game with the development of Spain if not France on just Cuba.
Oh no, don't poke the Spiff, he'll send Reanu Keves after you
I feel like Chukchi should be mentioned if you take carib and ternate. With exploration ideas first chuckchi can get in america first, in fact in my only game as them I had entire mexico before europeans even had a colonial nation. Also you can grow pretty good in your home region as I had half of japan and parts of manchuria at this time. but then portugal declared war on me and the new patch came out so I can't contineu anymore.
Would Mali be a honorary pick or be like #11 since they are very close to Brazil? Along with the Abu Bakr II’s Ambition achievement to go for
Now make "Top 10 Greatest Betrayals in EU4"
Спасибо за то что мы на 1 месте , товарищ )
god I love this channel. only eu4 channel that's not fucking insufferable
Thanks for watching!
Spain not in the number one?
*'cough' 'cough', Inquisitor, yeah, this video right here.*
Top ten underrated nations for multiplayer maybe?
Top 10 features that comming in Emperor expansion?
i think another strong colonial pick is morocco. their missions give them claims all over west africa, pirate the north sea and potentially the english channel, and colonize the caribbean. another strong aspect of them is that they can also form andalusia which gives them an extra colonist and their capital moves to cordoba in europe for free. and to top it all off being sunni means that trade company regions they control will inevitably be slowly converted with the propagate religion mechanic greatly reducing unrest in anti-missionary trade company territories.
Make a top 10 easiest Achievements video plz.
When will we get a collab with Spiff?
No one ever talks how actualy easy it is for Portugal to subdue Castille in the first few years. This start is not as relaxing as just colonizing, but it wont slow down exploration that much if any, and will allow you to conquer castille. Most of the times castille gets in a war whith aragon in the first few yeras. A war they usualy loose or win by the skin of their teeth. If you can get some allies to help great, but even whith no allies, if you time your declaration just after the war ends or even during the war, you can catch castille completely off guard and defeat them in a war which would usualy be almost impossible at earl game. Take seville and other surround provinced to get even more control of the iberia trade node, and after that castille wont realy ever recover. You are now stronger then castille and unless they get an early iberian wedding, the following wars will allow you to conquer them
Good god, you actually found that shitpost USA culture sound mod I made ages ago, idk how I feel about this...
Is the horse only campaign gone
>when you forcibly merge Yorkshire pudding and tea for memes
I actually played as ternate it's pretty challenging but when you get thr hang of you will kill everyone
LMFAO at the Great Britain section... yeah right, the weather here may well explain the Empire IRL! Pretty good accent too
What mod are you using for turning the map 360º?
Unmodded, actually. You can open the console "~" and type "enable_game_controller" and zoom / pan / rotate the map with an Xbox 360 or other USB compatible game controller. Hope that helps!
@@AlzaboHD wow, didn't know that. Cool, thanks a lot!
Honorable mention to Canada. I'd say their idea set is actually better than the US, as it provides an additional colonist. A Canada that has filled out the Exploration and Expansion idea sets will thus have four colonists - five, if Parliament passes the Colonial Expansion act. The major downside is that Canada's territory is a lot less attractive, being mostly 3 and 4 development provinces.
I thought this was a ISP vid when I saw that intro
Could Dutch and Mamluk gets honorable mention? Mamlukian Australia is very often seen in campaigns.
Nice video
Can someone please help
I dont have some functions and interface things
you should do a romania guide
Please, make a new video on 1.4.2 patch of Imperator, the game seems to be much better.
I feel like the Netherlands should be on this list. They don't have any ideas that increase colony growth, but their national ideas are really good for playing tall and building up a massive economy, and colonial nations fit that really well
