It would be cool if they made the Thirteen Colonies a sort of federation of separate playable nations, kind of like the HRE. Maybe in order to declare independence from Britain you have to complete a series of missions/reforms establishing yourself as leader of the federation.
I kind of just wish we got EU5... Like combine some 'building high' elements, give us characters like the other games. Just allow is to go ballz deep into creating out nations.

I mean, if they're going this far in creating fictional content, they might as well just give us a New Zealand tag, even though its independence and modern NZ identity happened after the end of the game.

@@frostyguy1989 eu4 has mechanics for choosing a different name depending on what culture or country settles the region. For example, if Scotland settles the easternmost part of Canada, its Nova Scotia, if France, its Quebec, if England, its Labrador, etc. Also, Zealandia isnt generic. Its anglicized Dutch. I just dont understand why most the other colonies can get historical tags, but they basically make a joke tag for New Zealand (the color is pretty gross as well)
@@lxi9648 I completely agree with you. Lotharinigia is totally anachronistic and stupid. At the start of the game Lotharingia already exists. Lorraine aka Lothringen. This nation is the legal succesor of it. United Upper and Lower Lorraine only existed from 840-870 anyways. Maybe they will bring the Etruscans and Visigothic Spain back into CK4.. I mean EU2.
@@sualtam9509 Sure, a lot of the low-and middle countries should have the possibility to form a new Lotharingia. But forming it isn't that unrealistic. We have a lot of formable nations that reclaim ancient history.
He can also say Orleans, Herzegovina, and many other names that people often pronounce horribly or not at all. And for what it's worth, the wiki page for Epirus gives 'A Pie Rus' as the English pronunciation. Overall, he's really done quite well and any errors were relatively minor. Except ducky and Lubbec; those were an abomination.
It's such a breathtakingly big update, isn't it? I'm glad that EU4 still gets so much love. I have no idea who to play first - oh who am I kidding, of course it will be Austria.
My favourite addition is the province and nation of Bregenz! I live there and we take big pride in the Monfort rule we had before the Habsburgs took over. Its such a small detail but having the province properly represented and ruled by the correct people is really awesome to see.

The first point you make about Orleans possibly being the only nation with female generals made me chuckle. The first nation i decided to play on the emperor patch is Bregenz and this nation can also have female generals :)
Two Sicily formed in my Austria game, making two Sicily removes it from the empire and they were to big to rejoin so I made sure there were two sicilies both of them in the empire.
It would be cool to update your old top 10 lists, since in some cases so much has changed. Like strongest starting nations, strongest formables, and the like. Also I'd really like an updated version of the caddo strategy, or just something about playing a native nation in the Americas. I recently tried the caddo thing for the first time, but all of the guides are out of date and it didn't go well.
