Hi Sorin,good to see you back.The reason the VENT is there is to ALLOW incoming air to flow exactly over the I>O>chip.IT appears they put a vent right over COMPONENTS that would get hot in use in order NOT to have to use a cooling pad or heat-sink.Keeping the cost down and designing easier.It's good that you show JUST how little corrosion it takes to keep a component from working,thank you.

Hi. What happen if the blue color from the connector come off? It is fine to put glue or fine to insert without the blue thing from the flat connector from keyboard panel or motherboard. Thanks

Thank you for the video sir! Is it possible that unplugging the batteries, both main and BIOS, resolved the issue? I have acer SWIFT 3, and had the power-on issue as shown in your video. I watched your video, and tried the unplug approach, of both batteries; IT WORKED!!!
After plugging in both batteries, I pressed the power button. The power light came on, and the laptop started launching. The power light and the laptop monitor intermittently came on, as did in your video; and for that reason, I patiently waited until the laptop fully launched.

Hi, i have a problem on acer m3 581 tg laptop. Motherboard loses voltages after 5 seconds after connecting power supply. Laptop is dead. Also when i connect power jack motherboard have blue led. Have you any idea what could be a problem?

I think i also got same problem. Acer predator Helios 300 2020.when I was away Ants get inside laptop. When I found it , I get rid of them, but laptop isn't working properly sometimes it power off Sunddenly... sometimes after few minutes sometimes lines comes over the screen and power off, don't know what to do , I got no good technicians arround my area. Hi there, .. i dont know if u are reading old videos msges but, i wanted to write.. i have similar issue like that with my laptop also, but only difference, i am not so sure about it but, it is heating too much and after that it is doing this.. u cant turn it on again when u power on.. when u do, it is starting and shutting down in a few seconds.. fans starting to work then off. Black screen.. not turning on. so i am pulling all wires and waiting for it to cool down.. and i dont know whtever the problem is, but after a while it is working again.. can u advice me what should i check to fix this issue.. thanks..

the problem is exactly the same as my laptop, I bought a new laptop and I took care of it properly and correctly, I just used it for a few months, suddenly a problem appeared as discussed in the video, I lost money and time, I brought my laptop to service official but the problem is growing.

Hi, I have a question, I have an Acer Swift SF514-51 and the orange light is flashing, I opened it up, unplugged everything and cleaned it, it then looked blue and orange when charging. Later after a few minutes only Orange was looking. Why I opened it was because Windows showed me hieroglyphs when I logged in. Can you please help further. Thanks

Same issue has happened to my Dell 7567 laptop and I have taken it to 3-4 repair centers but no solution. Some says microprocessor is dead and ram is also dead and i need to buy new motherboard. But what happened was I opened my laptop in the morning and it was working fine before that day and i played a game and then i shutdown my laptop and after that my laptop got that problem in the morning. I don't know what to do and I don't think that I would really need to buy a new motherboard for that. PS - my laptop battery was so bad that when I unplug the charger it would turn off.

Local laptop repairing shop said its motherboard problem, and whole motherboard needs to be replaced. Apparently there was power outrage that caused shot in motherboard. I didn't replace motherboard yet.

Hi I have an HP 15 n037se laptop no power fan is not working I got for free from a friend but when I bring it to the repair shop they say its motherboard problem. Since i can't afford the price for the whole motherboard I took it back but the technician is trying to buy the laptop for cheap price. Ive tried fixing it my self watching your videos but I lost hope. Is there anyway I can send you the computer for you to try to fix it? I'm from the Philippines.
