Just traded my in 2019 RAM limited for a 2024 GMC Sierra Denali, loved my RAM. Loaded and really I don’t see much different on this one for the price increase. Loved my RAM V8 5.7L this new twin turbo looks tough. New to me, passenger screen, auto tailgate, new front grill which is real nice, two tone leather option, maybe some more digital options on driver side but it was there already. Sick truck still but not enough for me to buy it again. I’ll go back after this gmc for 4-6 years.
The Hurricane is one of the best engines I have driven. I have a Wagoneer and the engine is the one and only thing stellantis do well. Nice review. Thanks Joe

My only complaint is how the 3.6 went from being the smallest displacement available to the biggest. If the new 3.0 is reliable then ok but I’m a bit concerned.

The new Ram hood has a double bulge. I am glad I am over 60 because I am allowed to drive a truck with this much chrome. Joe first to debut my next truck. The bed divider doubles as a bed extender also. All the chrome is so the competition can see themselves as the SST leaves them in the dust.
Price are out of control any more. Just bought a base 2024 BMW X3 and did everything I could to get that below $50k, It only had like one or two extra options on it. But on camera, this truck looks very quick. Really nice on the inside. Just had a Jeep Wrangler for 4 years and about 52k miles. No mechanical issues with anything. I know it’s a cousin of Ram, but thought I would mention it.
WOW....the color, the trim, the wheels, the features, if I was in the market this new RAM would be at the top of the list. I currently drive a 1997 Dodge Intrepid, the most reliable car I have ever owned. The 3.3 V6 has almost 250,000 miles on it and never been touched. So Joe, I will say this, I think RAM did it again, with nailing the style, interior finishes, and technology just like they did back in 2019. I believe they will be getting more Motortrend Awards in the future for that interior. My concern was the engine, and based on your acceleration, it seems like it has plenty of pep. Hopefully, they can at least get that engine in the 2025 Dodge Charger. The only thing that people seem to be concerned about is the 💰💰. If you think about it, with the new 2025 HDs coming later this year, who knows the price of those bad boys 😬

Very nice truck.... but for $90k, did they finally get the ambient temp settings to warm the vehicle when it's under 62 degrees, or will it only heat the cabin when it's under 40 degrees? One of the reasons I sold my TRX. Also, what's the scoop on lane-centering (not lane keep), and potential for hands free driving. GMC and Ford offer those two options, plus better cabin temp settings for less than $80k. In the battle amongst the top trim trucks, these seemingly unimportant things matter. 2/23 edit: To be fair, and as a pro to RAM, I think RAM paid attention to the survey responses. When I got them during my TRX ownership, I reiterated that I was interested in a luxury sport truck. The reason I had purchased the TRX was due to the supercharged engine and closest thing to luxury vehicle in one. Tungsten hits the mark with the Hurricane engine and ultimate overall lux trim. $90K for any pickup seems a bit ridiculous ...as my wifey told me (in no uncertain terms) "you're not a craftsman you don't need a pickup" ... oh boy this is trouble
To all the haters out there, I’m totally with you all in regards to the Hemi and I really wish that they had kept it, even if it meant limiting production to keep up with fuel economy standards. That being said, there always comes a time when changes need to be made. The Hemi engine that’s currently available hasn’t had a major change in over 15 years and it was costing FCA billions of dollars in fines because it couldn’t keep up with current EPA regulations. FCA/Stelantis would need to design and build a new v8 engine from the ground up and that alone could take years to accomplish. Let’s also not forget that the Hemi, although very reliable over all, is plagued with its own set of issues (broken exhaust manifold bolts, lifter issues, mds problems, etc.) However, what I loved about it is that it still used a lot of tried and true technology like variable valve timing and multiport fuel injection. This new Hurricane engine, in theory, seems like it’s going to be a very strong engine given how it’s built but only time will tell. I’m sure there’s going to be some issues in the next couple of years with a new engine and all, but over time, I think people will learn to love it. Ford has had a lot of success with their ecoboost so perhaps the same can be said for Ram. I’ll also say that in today’s world, most truck buyers are going to prefer overall power and towing numbers over sound alone. The hemi was the more popular choice because it was the best choice in regards to towing capacity over the other engines.
Love everything inside and out except the vertical infotainment sceen Would be great if it was horizontal or like my favourite screen like ford f series 12 inch screen

One critique I do have with you zonking the lack of a separate rear AC control is the extra cost in terms of both money and internal space, because that feature would surely require a second AC/heating unit just for the rear. On a Wagoneer, sure, the sheer size of the rear justifies having a whole extra unit. But on a two-row pickup truck, I just don't see it being worth the trouble.

Great video, but you left out the most important part-how do the self-driving features such as adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and automatic emergency braking work? I need to know that to justify giving up the blue cruise and higher tow capacity of the F150…

Another great review! Thanks!
Ram trucks are a blast to drive..
Stellantis/Ram, I would like a Tradesman trim with the ability to choose more standalone options like: the 540hp SST HO engine, Vinyl seats, Projector LED headlights and taillights. 20-inch wheels, 5'7" bed, digital screen delete.
I fking love this truck! Loved your review. Sorry for my French but damn. This is revolutionary, as you said!
Screw the EPA. BRING BACK THE V8.
90k for a V6 is crazy😂
That’s your opinion.
@@DeepDishPizzait’s not. It’s a fact. It’s pathetic for a V6
@@LorenzoC2314 You’re wrong.
540 hp v6. Sounds good to me
Inline 6 not v6 folks, I love the style but I agree it is too much on cost.
I am sold on this vehicle! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Beautiful vehicle ridiculous price .But that's just the way it is these days .Always enjoy your reviews .
Ridiculous price? Sorry that you can’t afford it.
Thanks for being so supportive
@@DeepDishPizza Didn't say I can't afford it I Said it's a ridiculous price .I'll wait a year and pu a used one .
@@charlesrestivo870 You go ahead and buy someone else’s problems. If you can’t buy new, then don’t buy anything at all.
@@DeepDishPizza I ve been buying year old cars for over 50 years Have warranty balance never a issue But you do what you like Haveca great day
Great video, but you left out the most important part-how do the self-driving features such as adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and automatic emergency braking work? I need to know that to justify giving up the blue cruise and higher tow capacity of the F150…
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video real true 👍 I love new ram look good 👍 💯
What a great review- I wonder, does this truck have under seat storage in the back? That’s what I love most about the interior of my Ram
Can you get it without the tool box?
Lovely video
Thank you so much Sonal
