My favorite thing about Fall is all the color! Colored leaves are so beautiful! I take lots of photos, and sometimes use them for Fall cards. The same tree can be a totally different blend from year to year, so I have tons of photos of the same trees. My hubby even takes me to a local park (complete with water running over rocks and a dam) and I take lots of photos there each year, and they turn out differently each time. Absolutely my favorite time of year!
Gina...I want to thank for taking time to instruct us with this technique. You make these projects very approachable and your work is top notch. A VERY pretty wedding card. It is beautiful.
Your card is absolutely stunning Gina! And my Royal Sovereign just arrived in the mail today, so guess what I'm going to be doing right away?! Love that you carry the foilable elements paper in your store ... hope you keep carrying it now! : -) Thank you for an amazing and gorgeous card tutorial! Love how you always make everything look so simple! You're a natural teacher too ... love you!
This card is absolutely gorgeous... stunning... beautiful... the perfect card. Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us... and for doing it in real time. I am going to gather up my kit and foil supplies to play with. Have a great day! :)
It is interesting that the foil sticks through the colored ink and does not interfere with the black toner holding the foil. I always thought you had to do the toner last.
I was on the fence about getting this stamp kit, but this card convinced me I need it and I just ordered it. I can't wait for it to arrive. Thank you Gina. Your projects are lovely and you are a great teacher.
Wow.. what a gorgeous card!! Thank you so much for sharing this!! My brother gave me some gold foil and just didn't have time to watch videos about how to use it... What a great card to learn it on!!!!
Gina - This a really a lovely card! I like it very much. The filming was done very well as the shine showed up beautifully. Thank you for sharing it. I appreciate watching your videos & techniques.
I had to say I love this technique and thank you so much for all of your videos. I love the easy way you teach us to make different cards. They're all simple and accessible to anyone and I really appreciate all the wonderful and unique techniques! Thank you! You are incredibly talented and creative. :)
Gina, truly a very elegant looking card. I love the Mini Minc. You can do so much with it. Really do love your card. Thanks so much for the tutorial. TFS :-)
That card was beautiful Gina!!!!!!!!! This stamp kit was the first one I bought and I am soooooooooooo glad I did. I love it !!! Thanks for the video and awesome idea !!
What am awesome choice with that ribbon. At the end when you show us the shine, the foil looks so pretty through that transparent black ribbon. Gorgeous card. I just love watching your videos. PS...You are the queen of straight layers. I hope one day to be able to add layers on my card as straight and crisp as you.
I soooooo love this card you made!! I love everything that glitters and foil!! Beautiful work!! Thank you for showing us how to do it!! Hugs Cheryl Kaye Diaz~
Thank you kindly for this inspiring and informative video. I came across this side by coincidence but got intrigued, so. I ended up watching all of it. And I loved it. So you now have a new subscriber. 😬
I just started watching your videos and I love what you do your cards are stunning! I am a new beginner in card making and your videos are so informative thank u for the inspiration!!
Love this technique. I wonder if you used the negative on the foil on a round peace how it would look. Would like to see that. Love watching you and your videos.
Wow factor to the maxmillion!! Love, love, love it. Thanks for sharing this technique. I'm gonna try it for sure. As a suggestion, sometime could you give some ideas on how to decorate the inside to coordinate with the outside? Sometimes I get stumped on that one. Don't want it to open to bland, but still have simplicity and beauty while having room to write. Thanks for all you do, Gina! You're the best!! xoxo
I know I'm not Gina, but I have decorated the insides of some of my cards. Sometimes I'll stamp something from the outside, a flower or butterfly, etc, on the bottom corner of the inside of my card, usually in a lighter shade than what's outside. Also I like to make a panel for the inside & sponge lightly around the edges, then maybe still stamp something on the edge or corner. Hopefully this gives you at least an idea of something you might try. Good luck.
Hi Gina TFS its a beautiful card and a great idea , I have watched a few video,s in a row for foiling with out a foiling machine you can also do it with 2way glue stick on to a stamp and use double sided tape as well with your big shot machine if you want to watched it its on Stamping Made Easy channel thanks again Tina I am going to try this with my Christmas cards this yr have a nice day sweetie hugs Crafty Katie xxx
Hi, beautiful card as alway. Could you do a quick video on what to do inside all your beautiful cards? When I've made the cards and they look magical, I never knew what to do inside the card, any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
Absolutely beautiful card, unfortunately I have never made one yet. I do have a bigshot plus, and several dies and tons of stock paper, but the few times I tried, I just got frustrated. I have been jewelry making and sometimes make my own beads and pendants out of polymer clay and mica powders and inka gold. You have really inspired me to keep on trying. Now I wonder, how hot does this laminator get, and could I use this foil on a very thin piece of raw or baked polymer clay, or would it ruin the machine? Thank you so much!
Theresa, I don't know if you can put polymer clay inside the laminator or not. You should probably call the company that makes the lamintor prior to doing that, just in case. :)
Oh...?. If I were to save all my printing projects and bring all to a copy center for toner printing can I file away the toner print projects and apply deco-foil at a later time (perhaps months later)? In other words, the toner does not need to be moist or fresh, correct? I do not live close to a copy center so I would bring as many print projects as possible. TIA.
I noticed that Dollar Tree have a kind of craft foul, but I was not sure if it works. Does it have to be an specific brand? and does any laminating machine would work with this technique? thanks for helping
I know this is an older video, but I'm wondering if the 'inverted circle' and 'beaded circle' are available to purchase somewhere. I love the 'beaded edge' look that Gina refers to.
This is a beautiful card. I went out and bought the laminator that you used And tried to make this card. However the foil did not transfer. Apparently you need a laser printer to. I wish I had this info before buying the laminator.
Hi, Ive had a lot of trouble with foil snagging on the plastic sleeves i place my cards in for selling. I use the jones Tones sheets. Have you had experience of foil snagging from the outside? Can't find anything on the web to tell me why or how to avoid this problem. Great video by the way, your cards are lovely.
What size Royal Sovereign Laminator are you using? I just have started watching your videos on foiling. They are amazing!! Can you use the Minc with your products also? I am trying to decide which to get.
Buenas Noches, tengo una consulta, soy de Honduras y estoy conociendo la técnica del Foil, puedo usar cualquier laminadora, o tiene que ser específicamente para Foil?

I know this is an older video, but I'm wondering if the 'inverted circle' and 'beaded circle' are available to purchase somewhere. I love the 'beaded edge' look that Gina refers to.
