I told myself, I will never make that card until you added the black & now can't wait to try it out, because it is very simple, but then very stunning. I buy all your kits & love your videos the most.
Hi Gina. At first I wasn't sure how this would turn out. Then MAGIC appeared. I was so shocked I started laughing. You blew me away. You've inspired me. TY
Wow this really came into full glory when you put on that black........ I had no idea that was going to happen.and it was stunning the change that happened.......great technique.............pat
Gina, I am back, couldn't remember all the steps to this great technique. Thanks for sharing this with us. I simply Love it! I had never before seen this . So glad to have heard it from my daughter Cherri. She thinks you are great too.
Gina, as with so many other viewers, I was mesmerized by the beauty of this technique. I'm a very inexperienced stamper and until I tried this technique - had not used heat embossing, though I had the materials. My 'experiment' was no successful, and I take full responsibility for that. It would have been very helpful to me to have know two things going in. One, that the stamp needs to be a solid one, correct? The ones I tried were what I'd call ordinary outline stamps. In retrospect, this should have been obvious to me, but in my haste to try this beautiful technique, I didn't think about that. So it would have been helpful to have a reminder that the stamp should be a solid image. Second, I didn't scribble enough marker around. It's probably my frugal nature, feeling as though I ws going to waste that ink that wasn't under the flower stamps. Consequently, my leaves were too large for the colored area. Though the attempts weren't successful for me, I did learn from the experience. You are an amazingly good instructor and so creative - I love almost every card and technique you demonstarte. As you plan your presentations, please keep in mind that very inexperienced stampers may not know or consider those details that experienced stampers do without a second thought.
I think this is one of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen. Stunning! I am so going to enjoy using this technique. Having watched a few of your tutorials now, I always appreciate how you explain everything so clearly and we get to see every step of the process without it being speeded up. Thank you
