What impressed me is that you used your stamps and clear embossed them. No special dies. If anything would prevent me from using foil it was having to have special dies. I also love the way you always use your scraps.Thank you!

Thank you so very much for this latest foiling tutorial! Because of this information from you and from a comment from Debrah Warner, I was able to finally add foil correctly to several cards today. I received my Royal Sovereign laminator a few days ago and have been struggling with it. I wasted nearly an entire tube of Deco Art foil in my attempts, with toner, a special type of thick adhesive sheets to be used with a laminator, with heat embossed lines, and with running it through the laminator several times, all with no success. Today I added an extra sheet of 110 lb card stock to the sandwich and found that it worked a little better. My sandwich now has 2 pieces of 110 lb and 1 piece of 65 lb card stock below the card to be foiled, and I have complete foiling all over the card. Thank you for all of your wonderful tutorials and ideas. I’ve made many great cards using your ideas!

This is a great technique!!!! And sooooo pretty. The key is testing your laminator to determine the best setting, sandwich and number of times to put the piece through. I taught this technique in a foil class. We had mixed results due to using 4 identical laminators. Even laminator has a personality of it's own. :)

These cards are so beautiful. Love this technique. Another use for my laminator with the addition of stamps. I made foiled Christmas tree cards this past year using a printer and the laminator. They were beautiful as well but I had issues. I jammed my laminator (had to quick buy another) and messed up my printer so it squeals. My techie son says I am a disaster when it comes to using electronics. Thank you for making my cards amazing through your caring and sharing.
