The broil setting should go up to 500 degrees. Perhaps that could boil the water faster. I'm setting mine up now so I'm not sure. Great tip to clean the top after each use after seeing how cruddy it can get. Another RUclipsr suggested cleaning the top occasionally. I think I'll be sure to follow your suggestion. Thanks!
Oh no dad! 😂 Never use oven cleaner on the unit, the interior of the lid is aluminum and it dissolves when oven cleaner is applied!!!

Ninja says to only use a damp cloth 🤣. Some less invasive ways are barkeepers friend with a non scratch sponge or use a baking soda/water paste, leave to dry then spray vinegar and gently scrub off. Theres really not a full proof method unfortunately…

next time use Easy off degreaser! Never use Easy off over cleaner.
