Please have them add ea sports ufc 5 as a specific game with ai based on it. I know tons of streamers who would make way more clips if an ai understood what it was needing to clip for them.
They basically just support Multiplayer Shooter. For your problem when Chat or any window top is out of reach: put the mouse over the app in the taskbar, press Alt+Space, happy moving. You're welcome. 😉

Tip for when your top part of the window goes somewhere unreachable, just press the windows key + any arrow key to move the window back into view. Also, doing shift + win + left or right arrow lets you move windows between different monitors.
Best thing I can think of for the "Top of the Window is hidden" issue, is to make sure the window is selected and hit Windows + left, down, right, or up, and it'll snap it to that direction. Should be able to move the window with the mouse then!
Full height docks is huge, i could only have my twitch chat show 6 messages at a time, huge fan of this update. Thank you OBS and thank you Harris for another fantastic video, keep up the good work sir!
Having the RUclips inside obs will be so helpful for those like me who don't have high performance PC's. It's going to be a lot nicer not needing so many things open at once taking up resources. Super pumped about this. The chat window being top to bottom also helps a ton. I actually used to just use my phone as a "third monitor" for chat, but now I might not need to.
If ever again you have a window getting stuck "above" the screen (so you can't possibly click on the top of the window to move it) you can do WIN+Left/Right Arrow (which will stick the window to the next available edge of the screen) OR WIN+Shift+Left/Right Arrow (which will move the window to another screen, this is useful for games & stuff too)
The problem with updating OBS is that everything breaks and so you have to update all your plugins and make sure everything works again. Also that little speck on his eyebrow is triggering my OCD

Hi.Why is Elgato software so bad for livestreaming,getting blackscreen,no audio and crackling audio?( ps I really like Elgato but....)The fact that you have to unplug your capture card and plug all cable's back in to make it work says alot about how buggy these capture cards are even brand new ones.😢
Does the audio splitter that he mentioned about Mac also work on windows? Because I've been on the 27th version of ods so I can have my audio splitter plugin and I liked it for when I'm recording because I can have separate audio sources on different lines when I have it on mvk for editing
Pretty sure if the chat opened up above your screen preventing you from being able to move it you could shift+right click the icon on your taskbar and select move and it should allow you to move it down enough

I just want Obs to have The one feature Streamlabs has that I really like. and thats the ability to tell what parts of your overlay appear on stream, Recording, or both.
If you are using Studio mode you should be able to see this in the preview window. One thing I did like about OBS30 is that it allows me to make changes in the preview without affecting the Program (live view) until I click on the transition.
FINALLY some better RUclips streaming tools... Man it was a hassle to have a browser open too for the dashboard so I really appreciate OBS finally taking those matters into their own hands and fix it. Also, full height docks is SUCH a big win for them too, my docks do not look weird anymore and I can have a much smoother experience with chat interaction! Good stuff all around and thanks a bunch for the video run down of the new update!
Unfortunately the full height docks feature is very bad. There is only all docks or no docks full height. Why we can't not select a specific dock for full height?
Since we are on the topic of docks, how come there is no guide or discussion or demonstration of different wayt to configure the docks for streaming? Where do people put the point redemptions? Where do they put the chat? Where do they put the scenes and the stream details? How large of a preview do people have or should have or ... you know. Why do we not have this discussion? I think HH should do one such video and speak of ways to configure OBS docks :D

Harris and everyone else who might want to know, if your windows window is somewhere where you cant move it or forced fullscreen you can use win+left/right arrow key to force the programm to align with your screen or even switch screens on multi monitor setups.
I love that my chats are so much bigger, but as usual we gain something, we lose something. In this case, network drives and sources are once again disabled. I open it up and I got the dreaded missing resources box and had to go through everything listed, copy them to a local drive and remap them.
THE fix for "out of bounds windows": focus the window, press ALT+SPACEBAR, select "move" and then press the arrow keys on your keybord to move the window in that direction. DON'T USE YOUR MOUSE. Once the window title is visible, press Enter and Bob's your uncle.

Hey man, first of all, I love your videos. I've been facing a problem with my stream in the last few months, and I just can't seem to fix it at all. I've tried everything I found on the internet-new Windows, updated drivers, changed my router, and experimented with different OBS settings. However, after 2-3 hours of streaming, my bitrate starts to fluctuate a lot, and eventually, my stream dies for no reason. My game and everything else work perfectly fine, and the internet connection is stable. I've never had this issue in 4 years of streaming. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. I feel ya on the hour of messing with ops, use it for so many different things I wish there was a way to keep scene set ups for different applications. Streaming drums, vs video games, recording various videos, be it music, fish breeding, mechanics and builds in the shop, gaming content. If I don't delete scenes from the list the scene switcher will use scenes I don't want it to use. So I find myself removing and redoing scenes over nd over again. is there a trick to it?
I like they're moving towards the multistreaming idea. The resizeable it's BRILLIANT! I think it will be game changer if they implement all the pluggins and make them user friendly and intuitive BUT I understand that it is a HUGE cost on that. Anyways, really happy with OBS. Ever since I updated to this version there has been nothing but frame drops. I've been using obs for 3 years and never had this issue. My Internet upload is perfectly fine. This version needs it's frame drops fixing. My streaming buddy in the USA is experiencing the same thing at the same time as me. Kinda strange that it happens at the exact same time in the USA and the UK. Defo an obs issue.
The full-height docks are great, but I want to have place a full-height chat and my Twitch activity feed both snap into place on the right side of the screen, but it seems like I can only have one on the right and one on the left. Can anybody confirm? Edit: Less than a minute after typing this, I rewatced, saw what Harris did, and copied it, so I'm good. 😎
I just wish they would make browser-based docs like the RUclips chat and dashboard accessible to blind people, as a blind user of obs myself it’s extremely annoying that I have to have other windows open to do this when OBS has an integration for it. But I do since they do not have accessibility for those things, everything else works fine, but those browser-based docs do not work at all.

This is not really about the new update, but I went to my OBS immediately- not even waiting to finish watching. I had to open my OBS and adjust as the video went. Curious question, but do you know of any integration that allows me to see 7tv emotes in OBS? And not like seeing it in the chat window that displays to stream. Like what we see on the streamer's end... it would be nice.
YES THIS, every time some of the docks get resized like went does my "start streaming" button always fill like half the damn screen while my audio mixer gets squished into like a tiny box??!

at one moment when I was trying new things, I change my main stream account to youtube and I got both twitch and youtube controls, but it was a type of bug, cause I return to twich as main and the youtube dock disapear, also when the bug happen I didn't have twitch chat and my streamelements feed, I'm using 30.0.2 obs

Sizzle is dog crap. The edit are very basic but maybe it's better depending on games. However, the social media integration is very limited. Twitch and youtube are the only stream channels you can connect to Sizzle videos and X and TikTok the only social media BUT it's not possible to connect to TikTok atm. Sizzle is just the beginning of a good idea but as now it has been nothing less than a waste of time.

2 minutes of commercials in a 5 minute movie, Come on now... Adjust the length of the commercial to the ratio of the length of the video.

I've recently discovered you can make the audio sliders vertical to save space and mimic an audio mixer. Worth considering

Curious question, but do you know of any integration that allows me to see 7tv emotes in OBS? And not like seeing it in the chat window that displays to stream. Like what we see on the streamer's end... it would be nice.

shift-win-m is the fix moves your mouse to the window title and activates move mode so you can just drag back down to your monitor.

YES THIS, every time some of the docks get resized like went does my "start streaming" button always fill like half the damn screen while my audio mixer gets squished into like a tiny box??!

How can I update my plugins? I have to be on an older version of OBS otherwise my plugins stop working. I believe I'm still on OBS 28

at one moment when I was trying new things, I change my main stream account to youtube and I got both twitch and youtube controls, but it was a type of bug, cause I return to twich as main and the youtube dock disapear, also when the bug happen I didn't have twitch chat and my streamelements feed, I'm using 30.0.2 obs

Sizzle is dog crap. The edit are very basic but maybe it's better depending on games. However, the social media integration is very limited. Twitch and youtube are the only stream channels you can connect to Sizzle videos and X and TikTok the only social media BUT it's not possible to connect to TikTok atm. Sizzle is just the beginning of a good idea but as now it has been nothing less than a waste of time.
Any word or leaks on if there's a Stream Deck Plus with more buttons on the way soon?
