It's a compact yet powerful tool that offers both vacuuming and blowing capabilities. With its high suction power and versatile accessories, it can help you keep your setup and even your car's interior spotless. Definitely worth considering!
I’m joining everyone else when I say that this is one of the best desk set ups on RUclips today. Not only is the desk set up stunning but it looks like the entire office is spectacular. Love the Herman Miller Eames chair and ottoman speaking of Herman Miller the only one item that could make this set up literally 100% perfect is if you replace that very cool looking gaming chair with, a Herman Miller Aeron chair in black Onyx Matt finish. It too is their gaming chair. The agaming chair is special in that. It comes in a very dark black onyx color. That is truly amazing and would look perfect with your set up. Outstanding job on your office.
You're very kind mate thankyou. You're right, I definitely need to update my desk chair for sure, it'll definitely be the next point in my office setup. Cheers!
@@DesignedbyKirk I'd love to see the full office tour, with all of your office furniture detailed, if you have the time to make one as nice as this one. Take good care....Mike
Looks verry nice, thx for sharing! A tip for your next project….. integrate the desk into your cabinets at the side, ( you can create an opening in the top panel of the cabinets then have one leg of the desk sitting inside the cabinet, visually it will look as if your desk is resting on the cabinets ( make sure the cabinet has the right height.), you will still be able to rise the desk to standing height if needed. this will allow no cables in sight, and you can even store your laptop in the cabinet, which makes it even more minimalistic.
Thank you for a set up that is not facing a wall. I can NEVER find set up videos like this. Like my setup, your faces a window so you have a view of the world outside. Only challenge is with video calls. Back lighting doesn’t work so I’d love to see how you do that.
Thankyou! Lighting is a bit of a challenge, but when I turn all my overhead lights on, and I have a light on the ceiling just above me and infront, it works all well!
Finally a desk setup not against the wall. This is how it’s done! Facing a wall and leaving back to others is considered to be extremely bad “Fengshui”!
But in this case it makes no sense since he can’t see past the monitor and everything on his desk. His desk layout it built to be placed facing the wall

Love this setup! Been looking for a video like this for ages. Don’t need to be the nth person to comment how it’s not against the wall, but damn the cable organization is top notch. How the space looks at night is unreal. I could sit in there for ages.
Very nice setup. Little pro tipp ;-) Even though it looks sleek having the speakers in a 90 degrees angle, you loose quite a bit of fidelity shooting straight past you.
Committing a war crime with the colour of that brew 👀 unreal space mate, I'm extremely tempted by the Studio Display so 100% looking forward to your review!
I know you probably would rather the aesthetic look but for best audio quality you should slant those studio monitors toward you in a triangular fashion; lining the tweeters up with your ears when sitting/standing with the desk. You usually do this for music production but you'd be surprised at how much better they sound if you do that
although i love the closed macbook with the logo in the right direction, i switch mine over upside down for better cooling. the air flow out the back is much better and less blocken by the stand… just saying ;) but it's a really nice looking Desk Setup
Super setup. A very nice place to work. I have only one suggestion: drill a hold at the bottom of you speaker stands and in the desk and then wires will be invisible from the front. (You could sneak a USC cable through also so you don’t haven’t to use Bluetooth ;)
Thanks Justin, appreciate it! nice suggestion too, I did that with my last setup and it really gives off the invisible look. Without a dock though, it would mean another cable I'd have to run up to my display, so maybe once I get a dock ill go for it!
I like setups where the back of the desk is open. It makes things so much easier whenever you need access to the cables or rear ports. Keeping it looking clean is a whole other matter! Cable management needs to be thought out even before the desk is located. In my workspace, I have a bundle of Ethernet cables that comes to my desk. I had to plan a path all the back to the router.
Thankyou! appreciate it, it does make it very very easy, there are so many benefits, with the main drawback being cables on display and space. Zip ties always help and some nice cable tunneling!

heyyyy Kirk ! I'm building an Airbnb that values the concept of "anywhere office". Do you find comfortable working LONG HOURS using dark or black DESK? Pls if anyone else also have opinions about that, share bellow! Thx a lot !
Hi there, that's cool! I highly recommend avoiding an all black desk, and go with a darker timber instead if you are contemplating the too options. I had an all black one for years, and although they're cool in theory, they collect a lot of dust (no matter how clean you are), and they aren't as inviting to work at. Like my desk here, I've got with darker browns and black accents, which i've been loving!
woooww its amazing, i got this position too and very similar items on it, but this is very nice! the only thing i dont like from this position is i lose a lot off bass sound from the speaker, dont you?
What size is the desktop..??? if you don’t mind… Top job mate 👌🏻 Have you looked at the IKEA Alefjall chair (golden-brown), I believe it will take your desk setup to the next level.
@@DesignedbyKirk Thanks for providing the desktop size. About the chair, you’re 100% right looks cool but isn’t suitable for extended seated time. Looks cool behind my Desky desk thou. Saw you review on the 🍎 studio display, very helpful… keep it up the nice work 👍🏻
Looks dope! What i dont get with most Setups is the ergonomic factor when you place a monitor that high on a desk shelf. Any reason for doing that other than straining your neck?
Hey! Got a question about your Kanto Yu4's... I have the same ones but amfinding issues with them playing through a docking station. They play fine when plugged directly into my macbook but when plugged into my docking station after about 4 seconds they start to skip and jump video and audio. Have you had this issue by chance? Thanks so much!
Strange! I’ve never had that issue with my old dock system. What cable are you using? Try using optical audio cable, it’s the best you can probably get. Never had that problem!
For me, absolutely it is, when I use my MacBook pro with the lid open, (as a laptop), it's usually on low battery mode, meaning 120hz is turned off and down to 60hz. It comes to personal preference, but for work, I just don't need it at all
This looks so clean. Your speaker alignment is setting me off though! 😅 You should have them angled towards your ears so that there's a triangle shape between your head and the two speakers. I know you said they're mostly for aesthetics but as an audio engineer they're extremely triggering hahaha.
not really, it depends on the room you put it in, black furniture typically gets dusty quicker than lighter shades, so notably the speakers get dusty the quickest
My setup is similar, because the monitor is facing in front of you, do you have the wall effect that the monitor creates? For example if someone walks in your office the monitor blocks the field of view?
nice clean setup, but ill never advise anyone to be eating or drinking at their workstation, spills and crumbs are not good. I keep it super clean, over all great setup and great information.
This is the first time I see on youtube setting up desk facing against the wall like a “director’s desk” and what mesmerizes me is your cables are almost invisible…

Thankyou! It's the braided Thunderbolt 3/4 cable from Apple, I have one in the long 2 metre length, and the others come with the studio display
Hi..!! Great video... The link of the cable managemet is not working, could you giveme the maker and brand or patch the link?
It’s by Omnidesk, so if you visit their website it’s on there. Otherwise those server cable magnetic racks are awesome. The thin ones
@@DesignedbyKirk Thank you very much..!! I'll look for it.
Amazing video. Can I kindly ask, where did you get that pen holder, I’m completing my ideal desk set up and really want a nice pen holder for my mount blanc pens
Link is in the description it's from a company called Oakywood
heyyyy Kirk !
Love what you did with the new arrangement, overall setup is amazing!
Thanks Lloyd, really appreciate you watching!
woooww its amazing, i got this position too and very similar items on it, but this is very nice! the only thing i dont like from this position is i lose a lot off bass sound from the speaker, dont you?
I do rotate the speakers to face me a bit more
@@DesignedbyKirk i did it too, but still not helping. i guess it is because my speaker is a rear ported bass, so it need wall to reflect the bass
So cleannnn. I would have liked to see 3 year kids in that room.🤔🤔🤔
not gonna happen 😅
First, very nicely done!
Was wondering what speaker stands did you use?
Thankyou!
Those are the Kanto Speaker stands the taller version
What size is the desktop..??? if you don’t mind…
Top job mate 👌🏻
Have you looked at the IKEA Alefjall chair (golden-brown), I believe it will take your desk setup to the next level.
The desk is 180cm x 75cm! That chair does look nice! But not very comfortable for long periods of time I'd say!
@@DesignedbyKirk
Thanks for providing the desktop size. About the chair, you’re 100% right looks cool but isn’t suitable for extended seated time. Looks cool behind my Desky desk thou.
Saw you review on the 🍎 studio display, very helpful… keep it up the nice work 👍🏻
can you re-post the cable management tray? link doesnt work. Thanks!
Thank-you for the note! I have updated the link :)
what is the size of your desk? Good video!!
My desk is the largest one Omnidesk offers at 180cm x 75cm I believe
Looks dope!
What i dont get with most Setups is the ergonomic factor when you place a monitor that high on a desk shelf.
Any reason for doing that other than straining your neck?
I’m very tall, and I always place the monitor so that the top of the display portion is at eye level, the monitor is height adjustable though
Awesome desk ! for the deskman do you got the S, L or XL?
Thanks! It’s the XL version
Nice setup! Who makes the back console behind your desk?
It’s called the Braddon Unit from L3 home. Link in description
Amazing !! Can you tell me your cable storage model name bro?
Thanks! I left all the product links in the description, it's from omnidesk :)
Hey 👋 do you think the Studio Monitor with 60 fps is sufficient for long working days or is a 120+ fps version more recommendable?
For me, absolutely it is, when I use my MacBook pro with the lid open, (as a laptop), it's usually on low battery mode, meaning 120hz is turned off and down to 60hz. It comes to personal preference, but for work, I just don't need it at all
Didn't realise there would be so many haters on a desk set up video!
everyone has their own preferences, in the end, build the space that you like most for you
Hey, great video. I’m in the UK I can’t see a UK based seller for the desk, your link is for AU, do you know where I can get on in the UK 😊
Hi Andy, sorry, I’m not sure if Omnidesk sell in the UK, let me get back to you and see if there are any sellers or similar products
@@DesignedbyKirk great thank you.
love this video! is ur macbook color space grey or silver?
Space Grey
This looks so clean. Your speaker alignment is setting me off though! 😅
You should have them angled towards your ears so that there's a triangle shape between your head and the two speakers.
I know you said they're mostly for aesthetics but as an audio engineer they're extremely triggering hahaha.
Don’t you worry haha, I turn them on a 45 when I use them :)
does this color scheme gets dusty quick? I'm considering the same color setup. pls let me know
not really, it depends on the room you put it in, black furniture typically gets dusty quicker than lighter shades, so notably the speakers get dusty the quickest
My setup is similar, because the monitor is facing in front of you, do you have the wall effect that the monitor creates? For example if someone walks in your office the monitor blocks the field of view?
Im not sure I understand what you're implying but yes it does block my fov of what is behind the monitor
If the desk is in the middle of the room that neat and organized how is the power supply to the desk hidden? I’m sure not an extension cord lol
It’s in the desk
how are you getting power to your mac? I don't see the large white adapter from apple
Straight from the studio display :)
nice clean setup, but ill never advise anyone to be eating or drinking at their workstation, spills and crumbs are not good. I keep it super clean, over all great setup and great information.
Agreed, shouldn't drink around your tech, but, tea is what powers this body most days
This is the first time I see on youtube setting up desk facing against the wall like a “director’s desk” and what mesmerizes me is your cables are almost invisible…
Appreciate it, was a bold decision, but I like how it worked out a lot!
The people who make the desks should put the power cable through the feet of the legs
That would be pretty awesome
