Wow. Your setup is such a big inspiration Matt! Absolutely love all these upgrades and you got me thinking about upgrading a lot of items on my desk setup too 😅
Hey there, {{3}}! I'm glad you found Matt's setup inspiring. If you're looking to upgrade your desk setup, I highly recommend checking out the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It's a versatile tool that can help you keep your desk spotless with its powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities. Plus, it's portable and perfect for other cleaning tasks as well. Happy optimizing!
You should try some isolation underneath the speakers - they might be a bit heavy for the usual foam pads that a lot of people use but you could get some Sound Isolation Pads - round or domed (silicone) pads which go under each corner of the speakers. They're not ever so expensive and could make the speakers sound that little bit better, reducing harshness/brightness and taking edges off high's, etc.
The quality is not bad and the led is built in, non replaceable unfortunately. I also wish I could at least change the color temp. It looks cool though!
Very nice! Love the slats. Thanks for fixing your desk shelf so that it matches your desk better. The OCD in me was calmed by that move. But then you positioned your computer so the logo faces the wall. Easy come easy go. Beautiful setup none-the-less.
there is definitely a benefit to using xlr -> preamp rather than a usb microphone for audio. Love the desk setup, particularly the vibe the panels and wall mount key light give off! Well done!
the thing about the AM compact touch is that its based on the HHKB layout. The option key is there but the way your using it is not the recommended way. If you google HHKB layout, the control key is actually where the caps lock is and the option is where you have the ctrl on yours, the cmd remains beside the space bar
How do you connect 2 monitors to your MacBook, I’ve been thinking about getting another monitor but not sure what I need to do to have the 2 monitors connected to my MacBook.
I believe the 2018 MacBook Air has two Thunderbolt 3 ports. So you can add a dock to run dual external displays but now it depends what kind of connection your monitors support. I personally like using monitors that support USB-C or Thunderbolt. If your monitors only have HDMI, then you will need to find a dock that offers two HDMI output. I hope that makes sense?
Music to my ears when you mentioned the circle saw. We should always have respect and a healthy fear of these tools. It only takes one mistake to lose a finger
Great video. Watched your last desk setup and now this. Wall panels look fantastic. Another step in the continuing setup journey. Also a Klipsch fan. 👌🏼👌🏼
Hey, I recently came across the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule and it seems to be a great tool for keeping your desk setup clean. It offers powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, which is perfect for maintaining a spotless environment. The price seems reasonable compared to other brands. Definitely worth considering to optimize your cleaning routine.
Man! I think that's the best setup I've ever seen. Basically everything looks like it was made to be there. And I think that now I will think about leaving the rustic colors brown wood and black. I'll try the clear ones. Congratulations and i'm pretty jealous haha cheers
Hey there! As a fellow tech enthusiast, I highly recommend checking out the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule for your cleaning needs. It offers powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, making it a versatile tool for maintaining a spotless environment in your home, car, and more. Plus, its durable build and reasonable price make it a great choice compared to other brands. Give it a go and let me know what you think!
@Matt NVZION I definitely love your setup, just by looking at it I feel in a space full of peace, tranquility, concentration and even motivates me to work on anything. Best regards brother, from Bogota, Colombia
You should try another port for the monitors instead of the usb, because the xlr it's way better, and of course with and dac/amp. That will provide you a better audio quality response.
0:44 My office coming out as the first result in Pinterest got me off guard 😆 Love the final results Matt, I can't wait to also install the panels on the wall, it's going to be epic! Great job 💪🔥
You should have no buyer’s remorse over the ID4, it’s one of the best interfaces on the market with some of the cleanest preamps and useful features, head and shoulders above the Scarlett Solo everyone’s getting. Looks super clean in the setup too, whole office looks awesome. Great job!
this is so inspirational man... your entire setup is beautiful... i have a base model macbook pro as well did you do edit this video with it? what did you use to record this video? its so crisp
FWIW regarding the power cables routing through the speaker stands, it wouldn't be too difficult to nip off one of the ends, thread the cable through the stand, and then reterminate the plug with uh, I think either an IEC C13 plug for the speaker-end, or a NEMA 5-15P for the wall-end, whichever you choose to replace. The latter would probably be easier to find at your local hardware store.
Hey there! I saw your comment about optimizing your office setup. Have you considered the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule? It offers powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, making it perfect for maintaining a spotless environment on your desk and beyond. It's compact, reliable, and reasonably priced compared to other brands. Definitely worth checking out!
Great set up, looks clean. My only gripe is with grovemade.. as a woodworker, I can’t believe what they sell small pieces of plywood for, absolutely insane and over priced. Find someone local to you and have something custom made. Most likely it will be better quality and cheaper, and support local small business.
Do you think the USB connection is causing the delay? I didn’t want to use the audio interface because I wanted to be able to control the volume through the keyboard.
@@MattNVZION yes it'll be more delay than the interface, and if im not wrong, you can still controll the volume through the keyboard if you plug the speaker into the interface
so ummm... First of all -- GREAT VIDEO. Always love your videos like this. Huge inspiration!!! Secondly, I am going to need you to bless me with your old stuff.. lol. Help a brother out!!!
Hi Matt. As I mentioned on your last video, the natural wood of the desk adds a lot of warmth to your setup. Unfortunately the Grovemade Desk Shelf, in my opinion as a woodworker, doesn’t look as good as it should on the desktop. I say that because the uprights on the one you have stands on are made from particle board and so is the tray you showed in the video. For the price they charge for these shelves they should use solid maple there too. The particle board makes it look cheap especially when compared to the solid maple.
I had to crinch pretty hard seeing these super nice Klipsch Sevens on that lousy stand. In order to have proper separations, get yourself some IsoAcoustics and they will sound even better.
The reason you see so many youtubers use grovemade is because they got them free, not because they reccomend them! They look good, sure. But with basic diy skills you can recreate them at a fraction of the cost!
I am always inspired by Matt. Thank you, man. Your amazing desk setup is on point
Thank you so much Royal!
Always come back to that Sonnet ;) Well done with the setup. I think this is your best one yet!
Hey Matthew, thank you so much from dropping by! And yeah, the Sonnet is irreplaceable. I'm currently looking for new keycaps and switches though 😄
the goat!!! amazing new setup my friend!!
Thank you so much for your support Nicolas, I really appreciate you taking the time to drop by 🙏

Do you have any recommendations?
Probly one of the best setups I've seen, I love how it's not centered also, having the monitor riser on the side is quite a nice look
Hey thanks! Yeah the riser was probably designed for a single display setup but with two, off to one side was the best way for me.
Love the new look man. Lots of hard work going into this project while recording.
Thank you so much Michael! It was a hustle for sure, had to carve out a few hours here and there for weeks to make this video.
@@MattNVZION I really like the HAY Turn On Table Lamp, how is the quality and dies the LED light bulb replaceable? Thanks!

so helpful and satisfying video, wanted to like this video twice but can do once only.
Nice video looks great but we’re do you guys get your money? For all this stuff?

Hey Matt, you have a serious stuff there’s congrats. By the way, nice editing !
Thanks!
Hi mat I was curious what monitor is that, that you are using the one on the left not the mac looking one?
I love the panelling
How do you keep the TS4 from moving around when you plug things into the front?
I grip the side lol 😅
Could you please let me know the monitor arm you are using to convert the monitor to landscape
such a beautiful set up. love everything you featured in this video. the accent wall really bring out a lot of character to the space.
How do you connect 2 monitors to your MacBook, I’ve been thinking about getting another monitor but not sure what I need to do to have the 2 monitors connected to my MacBook.
Well it depends on what model MacBook you have. Both displays are connected to a Thunderbolt 4 Dock and then the dock is connected to the MacBook.
@@MattNVZION thank you! I have a 2018 MacBook Air, might be too old for that setup? Not too sure.

Been eyeing up the white version of that filing cabinet for a couple of months now 👀 Another fantastic video man 👌🏼
It’s built like a tank! The drawers are not as smooth as I expected though and thanks Colin!
May I know the current size of your Desk Shelf that you are using in your video? Thank you
Bro what is that on the top of the moniter tube like and for what purpose do yo use that. I am seeing this first time
It’s the BenQ ScreenBar Halo Monitor Light. It’s like having a task lamp without sacrificing desk space.
The speakers without the grills look so much nicer. Great video, Matt!
Yeah I completely agree Lee! Thanks for swinging by 🙏
How are you keeping the mx master in white clean lol
Great setup man! I'm building my own and am excited once I moved to my new place
Thanks! And I'm sure you're going to have a lot of fun building the new place 🙌

May consider this in the future 🙂
