I really like the way you did it it's so much easier some of them show to gather it and I tried that and it's difficult I like it your way thank you for sharing
I just made one and I just love 💘 it. Sooo much easier than the other videos that put a basting stich and gather them up and you use an entire towel instead of half. Thank you so very much. This is great.
To make the loop smaller, just stitch across it in the location where it'll fit the button you have selected. It's rather like taking in the seams of your trousers after you've lost a few pounds. My daughter hangs her hand towels on her oven door, and this will be perfect for her. Alas ... it'll have to wait til next Christmas, so that gives me plenty of time to hunt for the right towels. Great idea!
I teach the 7-11 year old girls in my church all different types of activities. I'm totally going to use this! Depending on the time of year, I'll adjust the theme of the towels. Thanks for the video ❤️
I just found your channel!! I love your idea for this towels!! I have hard time sitting for for awhile however I love to sew so this perfect for me!! I would love to see what you come up with now! Thanks for your share
I think the lemons would look good with a green towel the same color as the potholder border you used. Really cool. I have that rooster towel from dollar tree so I like that one best. And I love how you repurposed those buttons. I love old buttons!
I love these. My neighbor showed me and I made the mistake of sewing the towel side down and it kept jamming. I also used a walking foot and now I know I don't need that. Thank you so much for sharing this
I love this idea too. We are trying to use less paper towels - less of everything - during the shelter-in-place order. Kitchen towels with loops are expensive - $7 and up! I hope my sewing machine still works. It's in the garage and hasn't been used in years. I wish I could go to Dollar Tree - I'm trying to stay out of stores this week! Thanks for this!
Hi Laurie, how are you you doing. Gee what a great diy! I love those towels to put on stove or cabinet handles. This is the easiest way I ever saw. These are great gifts too to add with other items. Thank you, for sharing. So nice of you. 👍👍❤️❤️🌺🌺🌻
That is so funny you are making these towels, I was going to video for my channel how to make some of these towels. I do mine a bit different so maybe I will still make my video.
These are a great idea! I'm a brand new sewer & I can just imagine Christmas ones. Did you use any dif or special needle because of the thickness of the pot holders! Tfs :D

You could hand sew or use hot glue.
