I love your diy idea. I used to make a sunglasse case out of the potholder. If you don't want to sew the design on the potholer, you can also fuse it on. Iron heat transfer. You can get it from Hobby Lobby. Happy Crafting. ❤
I just came across your RUclips videos today and I’m going to do some shopping today at DollarTree! What great ideas and you do a fantastic job of explaining. I am a seasoned sewer but always looking for projects simple enough to recommend to new sewers!
Very beautiful and thoughtful i am going to try it sewing is one of my craft hobby we cannot do with out the older generation . And also never too old to learn A Bless Day.
Hi Natalie, I am so glad to see your video. What a beautiful job you did. Thank you for sharing. Great gift idea. Greetings from North Carolina. God bless you. 🧵🪡🧵🧵🧵 I will look for more videos. Thanks again
I made a sewing kit years ago with a placemat and different sizes of zip lock freezer bags they were sewn down the middle with grosgrain ribbon and Velcro closure, also used a strip of soft side of Velcro to hold a few needles. It was handy to take to classes, or on the road. I also put handles to make it easy to grab and go! You have such great ideas! Gonna go tomorrow for potholders! Thanks a bunch!!
what a great idea - there are so many uses for this - and for those who do not have Washi Tape - maybe they can just cut a 1/2" wide strip from the same fabric that was used for the front panel embellishment - that would look so pretty - tfs
Very nice. Would be great for kids to do. I've been making lined zipper bags of various sizes for years. I could make a little tube with a zipper on each end. Sewing that in the middle would make a long-lasting purse caddy with 2 zip pockets. I just bought two potholders that were too cute to leave behind. (One was a sunflower design.) You've inspired me.
Hi Natalie! I just ran across this video and I quickly pressed that subscribe button and the bell. I used to sew a lot, but not anymore. This project has made me want to start sewing again. Thank you for sharing. 🤗
Love how good things come back. I did one of these years ago. I use it to hold my crochet hooks and markers. I never though of decorating the outside of it. LOVE your emblishments. Thanks for the tips on sewing in bags. Have to go back to dollar store and get some potholders and do this. I have many things I can use this for.. thanks for sharing. Hint: you probably know, a teflon foot works well over plastic.🙂👍 Love your new shelves, wish I had room for something like them.. lol
Hey Laura, thanks for the suggestion about the teflon foot. I will have to try that. These are so handy for so many things. That is probably the reason things come back around!
What a sweet little purse organizer and a great way to show your faith, for those with embroiderery machines, you could do a little embroidered verse before adding the baggies.
I just found you, too. Been looking for some different things to do for Christmas gifts and this is perfect to go with the aprons I’m making! Tifs. 🥰. If you don’t have Washi tape you could cut a strip of fabric, maybe to match the one on the front, and use that.
Hi, I just found you.im just learning how to sew. Doing good. Patterns are my problem but I'm determined to master them. I'm excited about the series you are working on. Thank you.
This is a fun idea! Thanks for the inspiration and for the printable. I really love the look of the labels! ♥️ I had to smile at the fact that you have lots of scraps from making scrub caps. I sewed several for my daughter who is a nurse to share with her colleagues, last winter. I still am using the scraps! 😃
YAY!!! I am so glad you made caps for your daughter. We were blessed to be able to help those that were on the frontlines of this mess! It makes me happy that you were inspired with another idea all those scraps! Happy Sewing!
@@mywithallmyart Thanks! I already printed the cute labels you offered and I’m hoping to make a version of what you showed for Operation Christmas Child gifts. ♥️💚
Love these! I think they would look good to just sew up the sides and leave the top open for the button. This would make a nice little bag. You wouldn’t even need to sew in plastic bags.
I have been looking for an idea that I can put my insulin pump in and run my belt threw it to hold it in place and I am not knocking the clip off the pump and this is a great idea that I can do to hold it securely! Thank you!
Love your beginner tutorials and the awesome ideas. Instead of washing tape 🤔 could I use fabric? I started making face mask during the pandemic now I’m just learning everything I can. Sewing is very calming.
Great idea, thanks. I think that the washi tape adds a little more strength to the bags. Do you have a link to your boutique so that these can be purchased?
Terial Magic is a spray that temporarily stiffens fabric enough to pass through your injet printer, and you can print photos on it that are hand wash safe.
It's not really about how many bags can be used. It's about what might be put into the bags. Absolutely, you can stitch by hand. That would be sweet. And hand stitching on the embellishment would be cute. Add some embroidery!!!
Donna, I know it has been a month or so and I hate that it has taken me so long to get back to you. I just listed 10 of these little purse pouches in my Etsy shop. If you are still interested, here is the link. www.etsy.com/shop/myhallcloset
I forgot to add it to the description. Here it is. amzn.to/2PI9akS It is an affiliate link so I am a small commission but it doesn't cost you any extra. Thanks for asking
I just found you tonight! Yay, what a great idea. Thank you !
Awesome!!! So glad you found me!!!
Super idea sewing endearments or verses. And the piece of fabric on top makes it unique and feminine. Love your ideas.
Thank you, Yolanda
Thank you for the great idea you explain projects so well!!!
Glad you like them! And thanks for the compliment!!!
Very nice. Thanks for sharing and walking us through!!💜 I made scissor holders out of potholders and old shoulderpads!!
You are welcome. And what a great idea to make scissor holders!!! I might have to give it a try!
This will be great for keeping planting seeds as well as different items.
Yes it will. That is a cool idea!

Yes you can use fabric! I love that you find sewing to be calming. It is a peaceful place for me, too.
Very clever! Also thank you for not being ashamed of using Christian sayings.
Thank you! Not ashamed!!!
Great idea, thanks. I think that the washi tape adds a little more strength to the bags. Do you have a link to your boutique so that these can be purchased?
I think you are right about the washi tape. I will be adding these to my Esty shop hopefully very soon.

Great suggestion. I don't think I have ever heard of that producr.
I'm a beginner I might make one. It's a good little project.
Oh good!!! I really hope you give it a try!

Are you sewing the ziplock bag into the final product?
Yes!
Is there a maximum number of bags that can be used? Also, can this be done by hand sewing?
It's not really about how many bags can be used. It's about what might be put into the bags. Absolutely, you can stitch by hand. That would be sweet. And hand stitching on the embellishment would be cute. Add some embroidery!!!
Where did you get your cabinets from? Nice organization
Michaels!!! I love them. They are so much better and prettier than the plastic ones
Is there some place I can purchase a couple of these.

Is there enough room for money in the bags, to make a money organizer for bills?
With the bags stitched in the middle of the potholder it is too small for bills.
Would you do a tutorial on how to make the pincoushion that you have?
I would have to think about that. That pincushion came from Walmart. But thanks for asking.
What are scrub caps?
Nurses caps
Do you have a link for the canvas cloth? I've looked but not finding it
I forgot to add it to the description. Here it is. amzn.to/2PI9akS
It is an affiliate link so I am a small commission but it doesn't cost you any extra.
Thanks for asking
How many bags did you add?
4 bags
I don't sew or have a sewing machine is there any other way i would love to make this?
Let me think about it. And if I come up with an idea, I will come back here and let you know.
@@mywithallmyart ok thank you so much
I was just checking to see if you came up with anything
Seam gauge is the little measure thing lol
Yes!!! lol!
What if you don't know how to sew, is there another way to do it?
I really don't know. I don't know if glue will hold it. You could hand stitch!
@@mywithallmyart I will try it. Thanks.
Christian good…
Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion.
Sad we can find the products used for this DIY
I am sorry that you can't find the supplies.
Sorry it looks so messy 😢
I like messy. And I like precise!
They are cute, but pretty much useless for anything I would put in my purse.
Yep, me too! But they are cute! Thank you!
