- I’m always excited and inspired by other artists in our community and I came accross a video by Darlene McConnachie the other week where Darlene created a mini journal from a couple of file folders. I've created one with a few changes to suit my own style and I thoroughly recommend watching the original video where the end result is slightly different.

Hi Ceri, I just wanted to say I never fast forward your presentations, I do with many others, but never yours. I love your very engaging chat, it relaxes and captivates the attention and therefore cements my learnings in an easy flow. Thank you. ( I also thank you for not putting music to your tutorials or interrupting your demonstration with a fast forward, as we all know, we can do that ourselves) Have a fabby time in the USA)

If I could thumbs up your comment a thousand times, I would!!! Often crafters think that everyone watching a video is a crafter too, but not so and when you’re just starting out, you truly need all the help you can get!
I have to tell you that there is not a moment of boring watching your entire process. I believe how much care you put into precision is inspiring. I learn so much ! There is no rush, the less rush the better because art is a form of meditation. Thank you.

I loved this video! So practical, so clear, so inspiring and relaxing.... Got my pen and paper out to make notes! 😁... And then you brought out the boxes of journaling cards and tags and I said to my hubby" look how tidy his stuff is!! ". I wanna be like you when I grow up! 😁
Lol…I struggle to work in clutter as I’m OCD, for some people it works for me chaos makes me shut down.
Absolutely ❤ this little book. I intend to make one ( it will be my first!) to gift to a friend who does journeling. Ceri, I SO enjoy watching and listening to you as you go through the process of each project...even if it's something that I 've never done. Doesn't mean that I never WILL, but I'm on the homestretch, so I 'd best " put a skip in it" !!! 😉😁

Very sweet mini journal that would travel well in my purse. I think it would be a great idea to have one for each month. Then I would have a portable diary.
Fantastic idea and then maybe make a box to store them all in at the end of the year, you could theme the covers per month or per season as well. Thank you.

It was inspiring to see your organized boxes of journaling cards/tags. I’m a very organized/methodical person as well, and the boxes were a great idea. I get overwhelmed and have a difficult time trying to make decisions if things are in a hodgepodge. Love this journal. It’s nice to have something I can create in one afternoon, when I’m maybe not feeling well and need that wonderful boost I get from creating something. It doesn’t seem that ive wasted a whole day feeling bad. Thank you!

What an adorable little journal! I think I want to do one for my daughter, but Halloween themed, as she loves Halloween. She decorates a lot, and I feel this mini journal won't take up lots of space, but make a fine addition to her decor. Possibly laying at the base of a spooky calendelabra she has. Thank you so much for sharing, and for your excellent style of teaching! I also don't fast forward. My brain seems to need the repeating of the process anyway, to get it to stick in there. *~*

This Journal is Absolutely Stunning! I'm so Honored to have found you after seeing a video where Gayle mentioned you! I love getting to see your entire process & I could listen to you talk all day long with that fabulous accent! It blows my mind what you can create in such a short amount of time! I'm trying to create a Fairy Journal in time to gift it to my Daughter on her 21st Birthday on September 11th! (She was born on 9/11/01... The very day planes were crashed into The Twin Towers in New York here in the US!) I'm having trouble finding a piece of Sari Silk Ribbon I'd like to use for a Closure. I've gone all over my State & even people who worked at the main Craft Stores had no idea what I was talking about! I found it for sale online, but it's for a larger amount & I just want a little something for this special journal for my Daughter. I'm fixing to go check your Website & Etsy Shop. Do you ship to the US? Do you ever Swap HappyMail or do you do the PenPal thing? I recently retired from teaching & have turned to Paper Crafting & Journal Making to fill my time. Hi Erica, thank you for your comment and good luck with your project, I get my sari silk from Etsy I just search for buyers in my area, have you considered wrinkled seam binding as an alternative as I’ve seen lots of journals makers using that instead.

These pockets are the perfect size for Sprocket photos! (HP photo printer from phone pics)
I’ve contemplated getting one of those but just never seem to get around to it.
@@CeriGriffiths I love mine! It's the only way I get any pictures off my phone into print. They print as stickers, which is super cool.
