Great new song. I love there's many "lead" singers in this band. It prevents a predictable one sound, but never heard a bad song from thses guys. Their covers of classic rock songs are amazing!

Altho most of the time they are catchy or are using some things that is populair/trending, it just makes me dislike populair music even more. So this kind of music just feels somewhat refreshing. Atleast that's my take on it. There is not many out there that get attention, and since i watched this band before i guess it got back on my feed. Now i am subbed lol.

I just want it on record I’ve been complaining about lack of Danny lead songs for years lol. But fr, Danny’s vocal contributions, since the beginning, have been so underrated. At first, I thought TDS was 2 guys harmonizing, but the more I listened, the more I heard Danny. And just how important Danny’s voice was in that actual 3 part harmony. He has always had a beautiful, soulful voice. And they have really always been doing 3 part harmonies, lately 4 with Colton singing more. My ear can’t pick up ALL the nuances that make this band genius, but ya just gotta appreciate and give props to one that is so talented.

It's like when Peter Criss would get a song on a Kiss record! OH!!! BONUS! This other guy that's an amazing singer in this group that already has two top shelf lead vocalists. The analogy also fits because Colton "Crawdaddy" Crawford is the sort of oddball like Ace who only wants to sing harmonies and do his lead parts. Although, Colton did a really good job singing the cover song "Scrape The Mucus Off My Brain", his first and only lead vocal so far on "Easy Listening For Jerks, Pt. II". It was pretty solid I'd love see him become the "Ringo" of the group that takes a delightfully odd song on vocals from time to time.

I was a late comer to The Dead South too. Radio stations don't play their music as much as they should. If it hadn't been for the Umbrella Academy on Netflix and the Shazam app.... I fear I would be missing out.
I do like The Dead South but there are an absolute crap ton of great bands in this genre. Trample by Turtles, Devil Makes Three, Mean Mary, The Builders and the Butchers, The Heavy Horses, The Graveyard Train to name a few.

I've always listened to rock/metal/punk and don't generally like other genres, but recently fallen in love with bluegrass, no idea what it is about it, but can't get enough!
Was so blessed to see them live in their home country 🇨🇦 at a small music festival in northwestern ontario, before they were famous!! Amazing talent, they were playing so hard they were busting guitar strings & a close friend of mine was replacing strings as fast as she could!! Love their Music & All Bluegrass!! ❤❤❤

You always wonder where the idea comes for the lyrics to a song ... and when you see the video, you're like,,,, *huh*! 😂💖❤🔥 I see real growth in Chains & Stakes, more experimentation and perhaps an effort to highlight individual member instrumental or vocal contributions and Colton's banjo interpretation and nuances are nothing short of genius.
