      R/T Life yea but whats he have in cost to do that? I get the whole build thing its exciting and feels awesome but at what point do you take into consideration the value and cost u have? I mean u can get a used a hellcat now for 40k pulley tune and some mods for 5k ur at 850 whp am i rt?

      Pretty sure stangmodes 9.5 second mustang would say ither wise with his 5 second 60-130 time- oh yeah on a stock bottom end, heads, and cam with just a blower on it.

      What size turbos is this the standard sleeper system with 62mm cast standard or the ball bearings. Look like standard? I woundering if he did the upgrades intercooler 4.5 inch

      @@pmac5386 no, demon is more than power and has many performance components that hp cannot always make up for. Plus someone can just add more power to it, and will be further ahead

    Upgraded to the 392 a few weeks ago. Might save some cash to fully forge and get the twin turbos.... a few years down the line lol. Thanks for the update. Some crazy numbers. Keep it up!

    I am working towards the sleeper Hellion twin-turbo in my challenger R/T as well. Going forged 392 stroker, may over-bore like you did for a little more air. This is my favorite mopar channel and I have watched all your videos, you are my hero. From watching your vids and reading your comments, I am thinking you wanna go turbo as well, there are more gains than anything else it seems and they are efficient, AND throughout the power-band rather than off the line like a whipple, or mid to higher rpms like a centrifugal and its easier to daily drive a turbo. You have the 392 intake manafold so you would want to keep that investment so another option would be pro-charger and keep the manafold, or after the turbo, you could try the victor if it's worth it (or leave it be, see how it goes for Peter right?), and if you go roots blower then you would have neither of those. With all that said, you already have a sleeper R/T, but not only does the hellion sound amazing, you would outrun Hellcats and the Hellion is an efficient screaming sleeper!

      WOW thats amazing hope you go with the Hellion (personally) I'm waiting patiently for the machined parts to arrive at Jannetty so they can build and install the 426 Stroker.Keep watching cause iy should be sooner than later. The Hellion can go on a stock block with out any modifications and put down some serious numbers for a 5.7. My other challenger R/t put down 500 WHP with an Edelbrook E-Force bone stock.

      That's the goal - having hellcats watch an R/T's tail lights! It's fun having an R/T that can hang with anything thrown at it. We will see how the forced air situation works out - it will happen at some point. Thanks man for the support & keep on enjoying that Hemi!

    I saw that coming with the amount of boost that the thing was pushing. You gotta have forged internals, which is the downside to the 392 HEMI. That Victor II intake is awesome, & definitely needed for boosted applications like that. I hope Peter looks into replacing/upgrading the rest of the drive train as well. Last thing anyone wants to do is blow out a driveshaft! That's something that can total out a car.

      My 2014 Challenger R/T runs 500 WHP with an Edelbrock E-Force SC at 7.5 Lbs of boost. Just makes me want MO POWER-MO POWER. its addicting!!!

    That thing is going to be a beast. Hellion makes some great kits, but it would scare me having the turbos on the bottom to get ripped off by a pothole.

    My 08 300C SRT8 6.1L pretty much stock apart from HP Tune, long tune headers muffler delete & CAI with a 150 Nitrous Express Max4 progressive controller makes 600BHP and 1580Nm. The engine is stock!

    9psi boost
    I’d love to make this video soon to show what a V6 can handle till this day I still daily drive it but it’s down for a week until my oil cooling housing arrives water leak on the O rings

      The TT if we had left it at a low boost could have run well over 700 to the wheels all day long. Pushing it over the limits in combination with a boost controller to 900 ft lbs of torque was the absolute sign to STOP!! Damaging the block was not an option. Adding the cost of replacing anything to an already costly build was out of the question.

    I was looking into that turbo setup and a shop that does a lot of high-end quality work said that twin turbo setup was not very good quality....any input on that or the shop that installed it....i would like to know their opinion....i understand no one wants to put down another company but it would be nice to get some real 3rd party input on the quality of hellion

      @@wilheimreis8272 I would if your into Dodge products. If your open to any of the big 3, the Gen 3 Coyote Mustangs are hard to beat. They'll run 10's with simple bolt ons, and 9's very easily with a blower

    So would this setup run safely at 6-8lbs of boost? Can the engine withstand that much horsepower? I understand that the boost level is not that high but the power it’s making still seems too high for a stock motor.

    Not a Mopar expert or anything but aren’t those 6.4 basically glass when you add anything upwards of 5psi? Getting it to hit single turbo coyote numbers is a lot more expensive too no?

      Agreed they are like glass but boost on a TT puts a lot less strain on the block the conventional forced air. I run 7.5 on my 2014 Challenger 5.7 and its been a champ for 2 years now. Yes this is not a cheap system and most likely more expensive than a single Stang set up.

    So, at 6lbs of boost and an otherwise totally stock 392 you would have a reliable daily driver that yields Hellcat level power and performance without the daily wear and tear of a supercharger?

      garyp57 that was the whole point of using my Scat as an R&D build to prove Hellion’s TT could put you in Hellcat territory with a stock block.

      Not reliable, sorry but all the parts in motor are under extreme duress and rather poorly made. If you wanna play with boost sleeve the block, forged internals. On a side note a haven't seen a heavily modified 392 with boost that didn't constantly break\ not work and I've seen a lot. I hope your friend I prepared to be visiting jennety on a weekly basis for fixes.

    Would Mr. Jannetti recommend just the twin turbo with 3 to 4 PSI on a stock 2019 Charger Scat? Just looking to get it into the 500 RWHP range.

    A 6.4 with twin turbo is my dream build. I would prefer a manual challenger though. How much does the twin turbo cost? I love the sound of a 6.4. The hellcat sounds nice but I love the deep sound of the 6.4 better, without the supercharger whine.

    That amount of boost would last about a week on most stock engines that 392 would have A bombed.

      Thats exactly why ted told me to stop and go to the next phase of R&D. All the forged internals were already in the shop ready to go and time reserved with the machine shop. The handwriting was on the wall you just have to be willing to read it!! lol

    Turbo kit is making just as much torque then Hp, you sure this isn't a Cummins diesel. With is amount of TQ you better invest in a tire company, spinning its winning. Looking forward for further updates on this setup.

    Honestly wish I could get a cheap Scat Pack, take it to Freevalve/Koenigsegg and have them create a camless Hemi. Thing could probably push 600Hp easy w/o much other work.

    It’s so sad 6.4Ls can’t uphold boost. I wish Dodge would at least forge the internals for the both the 5.7s and 6.4s and match the price they are trying to sell them for. If so, these cars would definitely be sooo much fun to build with boost.

      If the 392 cam forged it would crush almost anything including hellcats. A supercharger with 10 lbs of boost & you're good to go

      I believe the 392 has a forged crankshaft. I remember in another video, Janetti said the ring lands on the 392 are too high on the piston for big boost and is a potential failure point. The 392 is an optimized N/A motor that isnt overbuilt from the factory. I dont fault Dodge for this bc the Hellcat is an option if you want more power. You either buy the Hellcat or spend $$$$ to rebuild a 392 + $$$$ for turbo/supercharger kit. The 5.7 is prob better suited for boost due to its lower compression ratio.

    First of all, great vids. What kind of numbers should my 2019 challenger scat pack run? i see all the mods you have done and the car looks great but my totally stock scat pack with 3/4 tank of gas interior complete running streets on the rear does the 1/8 in 7.640 best time and 7.75 seconds constantly and runs the 1/4 in 11.590 best time and 11.8 to 11.9 consistently, depending on the weather. is the car normal or a freak?

    Will a stroker kit make your engine fully forged? And is that twin turbo kit street legal?

      414 Pyro there are different types of kits some are cast and others fully forged just check the descriptions before ordering. The turbo kit is street legal according to Hellion. Note: my Edelbrock E-Force SC is legal 50 states by comes with a disclaimer that I will not be installing it on a street car. I’m sure it’s their legal dept. trying to cover their asses against legal action.

    just casually bought a 392 widebody 45k car then added a 10or 15k turbo kit, then decides to do another what 10k stroker kit? man rich people have all the fun.

      Fun yes I agree-but I'm still working at age 65 more than 60 hrs a week as a small business owner. As far as anyone looking over my shoulder criticizing how I spend my $$ she passed away 4 years ago.

    My friend has a 2016 might be a 2017 challenger r/t with a procharged 426 stroker and he also has the edelbrock intake manifold and he has had a lot of issues with oil blowing out of the intake everywhere making a big mess under his hood

      I would tell him step 1 is check the install, #2 is get an oil catch can

      @@RTLife has a catch can and his builder tried everything he could think of before contacting edelbrock who said the intakes have a flaw in the design causing the issue and that they are working on a revision

    I thought that was the hellion guy. If he would've stayed at the 769 wheel horse power could he run it or would it blow. What was the cost too bore it and do the forged kit with the twin turbos. Can you do it for 20K?

      I don't think they would have kept it at 10lbs of boost. Pushing the boundaries a bit doing that

      @@RTLife I have always heard 6lbs of boost is safe to run on the 392. I'm guessing that would get you to maybe 650 wheel. A stock 717 Hellcat runs about 630 to 650. I'm good with that. What do you think the cost is on that?

      The original bolt on TT's with the stock block would have run like a champ all day long. That was the max and anything beyond that was flirting with disaster. We all know the piston rings are too high up and the weakest link in all Hemi's. So...could I have stopped-yes but we all wanted to see where the limit was and we found it at almost 900 ft lbs of torque.

      liquidmetal90 I’d let Ted make the call since my car was an R&D build. He played around with boost starting at 5 lbs and has first hand knowledge of which boost is best for what you want and for a stock block. Be prepared you’ll need a unlocked PCM and a bypass cable installed before he can tune it. R/T life featured videos of this process. Good luck you’ll enjoy the finished product.

      D.I.Y With The Richardsons I’m only upgrading the clutch to a Monster triple plate clutch. The trans should hold up just fine it’s a 6 speed Tremec manual.

      theTT 8 lb boost amazingly should not put the same stress a conventional forced air would. the 392 could go for years without a problem.

    That sucks, id liked them to turn it down a bit and see how long it held...we learn nothing of coarse a built engine will hold power like any other.
    The point that would help most is to know how much more power a stock 392 will live at with turbos vs Supercharger.....wasted opportunity now its just another built race car...

    It's his money but i would have just bought a Redeye Widebody and still have a warranty. What if later on down the road the owner decides to sell his Scat Pack for the next latest and greatest, like a Chrysler Cuda ? We all know selling a highly modded car is not easy. Sorry but i don't get it.

      I used to give out prices after every upgrade. The only thing I haven't give is this new stroker engine because it was sponsored. My cammed 5.7L build had all the prices in the video. This engine though is pricey because it was a complete rebuild - everything brand new.

      Kenny Lauderdale it’s too early to tell since there were many custom mods made during the R&D process of this build. Understand there are no two identical installs since everyone’s goals are different affecting the final costs.

    Yes - an engine perfect fitting for this widebody challenger. A big car needs a big and powerful engine. Not saying the 392 isnt. But theres a much MUCH better one
