HellHound_392 I jumped the gun and voided my warranty after 500 miles. Oh well I’d have done it differently if it was a primary vehicle. Its a build I’ve been planning with Ted at Jannetty Racing since last fall.
P Mac yeah I purchased a 3yr warranty when I got my scat. So I’m definitely not going to break it since I paid 2k extra for the warranty. Still came out on top. 30k total and I put 6k down so my payment is 430
I really like this channel and have been following for a long time. I’m an American muscle car person. Mustang, all the mopar cars, and the c8. Each one is unique. I personally have a mustang, scat pack challenger and a c7. Dollar for dollar, my base model gt with the twin hellion turbos is the fastest. My built c7(the expensive build) is faster. This is way up there on interesting builds, this is going to be eventful, to see what the stock parts will take, before the fully forged lump goes in.😎😎

Schizoaffective ok here’s the formula for calculating displacement. Bear in mind this engine has oversized forged pistons which made it a 430 cu in. How is engine displacement calculated? Engine displacement is calculated by multiplying the cross-section area of the cylinder (determined by the bore) by the stroke length. This number is multiplied by the number of cylinders in the engine, to determine the total displacement.
Sleepy Logic the Stroker kit is rated at 426 but the cylinder bore was 5 over which translates to a 430 displacement. It sounds like Greek to me too but there’s a specific formula that’s used to determine it. It’s all above my pay grade. 🤡
Wow, stock motor 700+hp maybe I should turbo my 392 Daytona. Don’t think trans and diff would like it. I was scared after everyone saying don’t do it because casted pistons
Michael Peery I’ll b honest this build actually is a little scary for me. I asked ted how much is this gonna crank out. His answer was “how much do you want?” Coming from someone who pushes out cars every week with well over 1200 to the wheel made my jaw drop.
Nyffboi well...it’s pretty tame sounding so Ted did a rear muffler delete. The explanation is the turbos actually act as sound buffers unfortunately interrupting the exhaust air flow.
mark teixeira yes indeed it’s a stock trans. I questioned Ted on its ability to hold up. He reassured me as long as I’m not drag stripping it regularly it will hold up fine. He’s pushed them to well over 1300 hp and they take it. Factory rates them much lower but that’s to protect them from liability.
@@RTLife I thought so. I'm from the area and know Teddy Jr all the way back to the Wendy's days, if you were around back then you know what i mean lol. Great shop and great guys!
Josh Matlock Ted has weekly flow of cars coming in from all over the country. Be prepared there’s a long waiting list. So many people here in CT have nothing left to do but get our babies modded.
Kevin Hodges yes it would have been-but this build of mine is just so much more fun. I’m a huge fan of sleepers and this is my dream wolf in lambs clothing.
Kevin Hodges my first sleeper was the 2014 challenger R/T with an Edelbrock E-Force SC reviewed on this channel. It’s bone stock looking on the outside and the SC doesn’t have the typical whine so it sounds NA cruising around. It freaks a lot of kids pulling up to roll race lol.
Lol.... spend a $100,000 on your Dodge gasser to have your ass kicked by a hybrid or electric for 2/3 the cost! I’m no fan of electrics or hybrids but they’re the future and given the cost of gas in Canada... I’m onboard 100%!
R/T Life yeah I got that. I was just clarifying that means it’s not stock cause you could do a lot of mods with out taking apart the engine block. You could literally do forced induction without opening your engine block. It just comes off like you’re sandbagging when you could just say what one mod you did off the bat. That’s not saying that I didn’t like the car.

Sleepy Logic the Stroker kit is rated at 426 but the cylinder bore was 5 over which translates to a 430 displacement. It sounds like Greek to me too but there’s a specific formula that’s used to determine it. It’s all above my pay grade. 🤡
@@pmac5386 what do you mean "me too"? I know what I'm talking about. I just simply asked why not a 440
Imma put a 454 stroker kit in my truck
damn. That's healthy sized displacement
Wow, stock motor 700+hp maybe I should turbo my 392 Daytona. Don’t think trans and diff would like it. I was scared after everyone saying don’t do it because casted pistons
I like that take it out on the street and torture it, wow 758 hp good lord.
it would come back with some bald tires hahaha
Lmao, no doubt.
Michael Peery I’ll b honest this build actually is a little scary for me. I asked ted how much is this gonna crank out. His answer was “how much do you want?” Coming from someone who pushes out cars every week with well over 1200 to the wheel made my jaw drop.
It’s kinda weird cause it’s not really that loud lol
Not loud at all - sounds like a stock 392
Nyffboi well...it’s pretty tame sounding so Ted did a rear muffler delete. The explanation is the turbos actually act as sound buffers unfortunately interrupting the exhaust air flow.
Run open waste gates and it'll be loud again!
🥵 🥵🥵
Such a cool build!
Was that a 6, 15 or 18% ati damper?
How is the clearance with the piping underneath the car? Looks like the intercooler piping hangs low from what I’ve seen
Once he officially gets it back I will take a look under - check the fitment
@@RTLife ok cool
This is my dream set up how much it cost now ?
Stock tr6060 transmission?
mark teixeira yes indeed it’s a stock trans. I questioned Ted on its ability to hold up. He reassured me as long as I’m not drag stripping it regularly it will hold up fine. He’s pushed them to well over 1300 hp and they take it. Factory rates them much lower but that’s to protect them from liability.
@@pmac5386 good to know! Plan on putting some power to mine in the future!
mark teixeira “Nothing succeeds like excess” lol you can’t have enough alcohol, tobacco, firearms or power!
How much on that build? Price
Once he has it back I will do a final video on the build. Will ask what something like this ended up costing.
Say what 🤩
haha
how much does something like this run?
Janetty Racing in wtby,CT?
Yes
@@RTLife I thought so. I'm from the area and know Teddy Jr all the way back to the Wendy's days, if you were around back then you know what i mean lol. Great shop and great guys!
Can this be done to the 6.4 ram 2500
yes it can
That air filter must suck in a lot of hot air
Not with the turbos hooked up
On stock transsmu??
Does he have a channel to follow too? This is the plan for mine!
It would be really cool but no he doesn't
R/T Life Okay bummer... I’ll keep watching yours for that build too 😁
Where are they located...my 5.7
needs this setup
Waterbury Connecticut
@@RTLife thanks...do I gotta ship my car up there or can i send my whole engine
Josh Matlock Ted has weekly flow of cars coming in from all over the country. Be prepared there’s a long waiting list. So many people here in CT have nothing left to do but get our babies modded.
Why not just FBO/pully a Hellcat? Would have been easier/cheaper.
Kevin Hodges yes it would have been-but this build of mine is just so much more fun. I’m a huge fan of sleepers and this is my dream wolf in lambs clothing.
@@pmac5386 I gotchu
Kevin Hodges my first sleeper was the 2014 challenger R/T with an Edelbrock E-Force SC reviewed on this channel. It’s bone stock looking on the outside and the SC doesn’t have the typical whine so it sounds NA cruising around. It freaks a lot of kids pulling up to roll race lol.
Was that a 70 charger I just see@6:54
I can't get a good enough look
R/T Life I can pick out that car a mile away . Lol
I'm waiting for the 440 and 454 hemi
I would love to see a 440 happen
I believe dodge didnt attempt the 454, others did.. I could be wrong but would love to see a mopar version
Wonder if that cuda and gtx are coming back too. I remember years ago when the first srt line came out they spoke of it at the dealer.
i want those cams where to order
Hey yo where you shop ?? Men
Don't forget to mention costs
Should find a real hemi like the king of the v8s the 1100 cid ford 32 valve Dohc Hemi called the ford GAA
All aluminum block and head and from the 40s
Lol.... spend a $100,000 on your Dodge gasser to have your ass kicked by a hybrid or electric for 2/3 the cost! I’m no fan of electrics or hybrids but they’re the future and given the cost of gas in Canada... I’m onboard 100%!
To many views and not enough likes.. yall all can't be haters huh..🧐😂
Thanks man - I really appreciate the support
I'm out of gas
#yellowchinitis
Wee Man the nose guard? I had mine painted to match the calipers.
I can hear the Honda kids complaining about the "hot air intake" already.
omnipresent video Not if they use their brains and realize I have a monster 3” thick intercooler lol
@@pmac5386 right. Haven't like 20 different channels proven that intercooled engines don't really matter where the intake is?
omnipresent video yup the last stop the air makes is the intercooler and dumps right into the intake.
One bolt on... stock... soooo it’s not stock then lol
it's a stock 392 engine with 1 bolt on. Meaning there hasn't been any other upgrades & the engine hasn't been cracked open.
First
damn you even beat me
iExplixite if I’m not mistaken this build will be the first Hellion “Twin Turbo Street Sleeper” out on the with a stroked & forged engine.
You guys wre spending way too much for HP.
Why?
@@RTLife Like I tell the underworld rubbish. Just listen and stop talking back.
Maybe you need more $$$
@@RTLife Yes, indeed the chase of the hustle and the fake money trap.
What a waste of cash. He has already surpassed hellcat money. Pointless build and went about it all wrong. Better hope it's faster than pullied hellcats.
A rotating assemblies $2,700 with an upgraded custom cam of 500 and $1,500 of installation and engine work and that's for a 427 SRT8 10.7 a quarter mile were you at GT boy
@@ktwosrt8life LMMFAO STOCK UNOPENED BLOCK 18 MUSTANG PUT DOWN 8.2 IN THE 1/4 . Sit down you gum bumpin chump. FBO 10R80 MUSTANGS RUNNING DOWN STOCK HELLCATS.
