- Fallout 4 is a fantastic open world rpg apocalypse created by bethesda! Naturally they wanted the game to be a sandbox for the players whereby you could tackle any challenge using whatever method you could come up with! Want to just use a giant pipe gun nuke sure why not! What about just being unarmed and punching people. Ok that works too but you are insane! And finally the school of fallout 4 that only deranged elder scrolls Skyrim fans would want to pull off. The Stealth Only challenge. Whereby you ignore all logic and create a character who is entirely focused on becoming invisible! Thats right we are exploiting fallout 4s stealth mechanics to create an invisible character! By Stacking a stealth boy, bobble head, covert ops, stealth perks, and chameleon armour. we are able to create a stealth stat close to 200% making our character pretty much invisible to every possible opponent you might face! So can the spiffing brit pull off becoming invisible in fallout 4 or is this perfectly balanced game home to no exploits making this stealth only challenge and build impossible!

You forgot the "muffled" armor upgrade. Most armor types have it. Reduces noise.
Pointless when you're at rank 4 stealth because that already gives Silent Running, which means you make no noise when moving anyway.
Would be better to go with the Shadowed upgrade, which reduces your visibility even further in the dark.

You can become even stealthier if you use the SPECIAL book to raise your agility to 11, then use the agility bobblehead to get it to 12 and you get the Ace Operator and Deacon's Cloak & Dagger perks.
Spiff actually missed something. Shocker, I know. Grabbing a stat bobblehead post rank 10 boosts it to 11 so he could have had more agility
He did mention it in the video
He could also have upgraded his armour to make it shadowed and muffled.
Additionally, he could have raised agility by two points by wearing the military fatigues to give base 13.
In theory you could then use a host of chems and foods to temporarily boost well past 20 AGI.

There's the shadowed mod you can put on armor. Extra boost in stealth.
Theres a perk you can get from helping the operators in nuka world that gives more stealth in dark areas and also increases the damage of silenced weapons by 15% its the main reason I side wih raiders with all the perks for stealth, silenced weapons, and all other perks you'll need, you can take the unique pistol Deliverer and basically become John Wick

I feel that it's appropriate to remind everyone that according to Fallout lore, repeated stealth camouflage use slowly drives the user irreversibly insane. Insane enough to murder everyone in Diamond City and then eat their corpses. He's almost blameless, really.

Omg the frame drop is real. Reanu Keeves has a stealth rate so high that even the capture feature of the card has problems recording where he is. Deadpool would be proud of the fourth wall breaking stealth strength.

I was thinking to myself, "Why haven't I played Fallout 4 in a while?" Then I saw Spiff's average FPS and remembered.
Relatable. Even with my RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 9 3900×, Fallout really doesn't like having good framerate without a decent modlist to fix some major issues, and even then it can be wack sometimes, though as a Skyrim modder I'm just going to assume from experience that THAT'S just because the Creation Engine is entirely held together by scotch tape, toothpicks, and navmesh triangles.... I see those shapes in my nightmares.

Interesting, i have 1660 and just tried couple weeks ago and no issues. Only problems i had was from mods and from the game. That has been my experience since i bought FO4 years ago. Graphics looked ok/nice with couple of mods, later in summer gonna have to play it again just for the old times sake.
Put shadow distance on medium it fixed the fps drops for me.

If you do this with the Ninja and Blitz perks you become the ultimate stealth melee build. Some of the criticals are perfectly balanced with no exploits
Let's not forget the beautiful power of lvl 3 Ninja perk: ×10 damage for melee sneak attacks. +Rank 2 Rooted perk for +50% melee damage when standing still (VATS melee attacks are considered stationary, even when Blitz teleporting from 30 feet away) + rank 4 Big Leagues melee attacks become Area Effect and +80% damage (rank 5 for +100% dmg)... 1-hit sneak attack kill anything with a moderate melee weapon. I like using Krevhm's Tooth or General Chao's sword against meat or robotic enemies respectively.
Just more proof that spiff has infinite content provided by Bethesda game studios

@@Jamal_Tyrone The horse was named Artax, not Aatrayou, i remembered that name wrong. Ya, the jist of it was that the mud bogs were a symbol of hopelessness and you had to have the inner will power to keep yourself from sinking. The horse unfortunately gave up and just sat in spot to sink into the muck.

I could be remembering wrong, but when save scumming for better legendary items: reloading your quick save completely re-randomises the item, but once you get the type of item you want (armour in this case) you can reload the AUTOsave and the item remains the same, but the special ability is random each load.

"Muffled" armor add-on also boosts stealth in a stupid way that works even better than chameleon.
A Fallout 76 build uses it with thorn armor and a drill to kill enemies with stacking bleed effect and not be detected.

My favorite thing to do in New Vegas is full stealth with unarmed. There's a perk called Paralyzing Palm that gives you a 30% chance to paralyze the enemy for 30 seconds. You sneak up on them and if you knock them out with the first hit, it still counts as stealth damage while you wail on them on the ground in VATS.

Did you know if you somehow get a full set of legendary sentinels armor, enemies will run away from you everytime you stop moving due to you being
100% immune to all damage?
Chameleon armor stacks, as noted. Would’ve been nice to see a full set tested. Good video. Most of them have too many shenanigans to use in legit runs, so this video is appreciated for being actually useful.

There are a few more things you can do to get more invisible.
First, mod all your armor to be black at Armory Workbench. (Easy - you need armorsmith perk lvl 2 or 4 depending on type of armour)
Second, use a stealth boy. (Easy - they can be found in Diamond City)
Third, farm to have only Leather Chameleon (it does the minimum noise while moving) (v hard)
Forth, more armor options such as:
-Get a Garment (like blue Vault suit) which has +2 Agility.
-Get a Hat with +1 Agility.
-Get Glasses if there are such to have agility.
That should be perfect perfect stealth build.

Spiff you forgot you can install the "Shadowed" mod on armor to increase stealth even more "SHadowed leather/Metal/etc"

For anyone wondering. This can be increased more if you side with the Operators in Nuka World.
Giving you the Ace Operator perk that makes it so that you are even harder to see when underneath a shadow. And also as a bonus, suppressed weapons deal more damage
The queen was actually born at the same time as the universe, she just used this exploit until 1926.
And will keep using it after her apparent death once she tires of ruling
