- Fallout New Vegas is often regarded to be by far the best game in the legendary Fallout RPG series. It has a fantastically large and still active following from release in 2010 up till the current day. Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 whilst being newer entries into the series in many regards do not hold up to this perfectly balanced game. So today join The Spiffing Brit on his wild adventure into Fallout New Vegas in a quest to see if it is A perfectly balanced game with no exploits or if the One Punch Only Challenge might show off a few glitches and exploits that perhaps the developers did not expect in their 100% fully balanced game. The developers have since gone on to create the perfectly balanced The Outer Worlds and if you would like to see a Spiffing Exploit for that video game give me a shout.

@@randomdude2546 I'd say the issue is that Bethesda keeps trying to do more and more with their engine (gamebryo I believe) without scripting properly, hell fallout 4 crashes if you build too much in settlements even with no mods.

It is possible to hit 70 because the base game cap is 50 and all dlcs add 5 max levels each
That trading exploit is actually really easy to do. You give them a damaged weapon when they have the same weapon except not-damaged, you buy back the damaged version, and you have the fully repaired one. You don't have to back out at all. You buy, sell, repeat.
Yep, an exploit so busted in the engine it was also in Fallout 3 and 4 lmao.

This video is a great showcase of the best iteration of the deathclaws. Even with a cracked out character, more than 2 deathclaws at once is a near death sentence at all levels of the game. Lore accurate deathclaw.

I tried doing this and had that same question. Must be using some mod to boost max level cause 50 is as high as I go....
well I think he used console commands multiple times throughout the run. I think he used them here and Im 99% sure he used god mode because he had unlimited vats points and didndt die when there were like 10 ppl shooting at him. Hes fun to watch though

I can't imagine having a product I love actually sending me a personalized version. Spiff, you're a legend.
I remember one of the OG bugs where you could kill anyone, with no negative consequences without ever attacking them. If you had the Anti-Materiel Rifle, at least one .50 MG Incendiary Round and targetted someone in VATS with the two equipped, when you untargetted them (without firing) they'd spontaenously combust.
I remember that one I used that one a little bit. The main OG bug I exploited was the one in the Vicki and Vance casino where you can get unlimited caps. For whatever reason you could cash out your chips and they wouldn't be removed from your inventory. So then you have unlimited caps from them not taking your chips.

Well, folks, I did it.
Took about 3 hours on Xbox. Ended up with over 4850 Leather Armors, and over 150k 9mm rounds.
With INT 6, all 3 tiers of Swift Learner, and Lessons Learned as soon as I could get it, that's approximately 50,000 speech checks.
...and boy are my arms tired!

@@Hugealligator254 but he’s already leveling up a ton in the tutorial zone. 2 level ups is enough to completely compensate for any lack in Speech/Barter from dumping base charisma at 1. It really only takes 1 level if you’re accounting for the fact that he made Barter/Speech 2 of his tagged skills. And even if he needed those skills in order to start performing the xp trick, there are plenty of Skill Magazines in the immediate area that can be used for exactly that

Hey spiff, I have in fallout 2 in a perfectly balanced way had a luck of 10, the slayer AND sniper perks on one character. If you don't know that is about as broken pre finish you can get.
So basically your luck is critical chance in fallout 2 UNLESS you have said sniper or slayer perks the it is your luck x10% capping at 95% so weather I was popping deathclaws at range in the eye with my vintage red Ryder bb gun, or using my super sledge to knock a knife wielding bandit literally across the screen almost every time I hit critted.

Slayer and Sniper don't combine and needs level 20.
What you need is actually the Speedrun AND combat implants . Run through the temple, go to Navarro and get power armor from I work for a living.
With 9 luck, you can get infinite money by gambling . Unlike Vegas, the game doesn't lock you out for winning, although you need to use the slots.
Just keep running away even in power armor but get the combat implants, including mk 2.
You now virtually invincible and can now play the early game. Want to exploit it further? Finish the game by getting the FOB and etc, gas the rig and then even talk with people/turrets to help fight horrigan, since you might not have enough stimpaks because hard to hit due to you being level 2. But as you almost invulnerable, you can tank everyone in final fight and then use melee to hit.
Once you finish the main quest, you can find the Fallout 2 Guidebook and get infinite XP.
Then go to Dragon and learn the strikes. Voila.
By just clicking the book over and over, you have infinite XP and can skill up. You already extremely hard to kill. You have infinitely money because gambling. Each implant allows you to top up 1 attribute. I think the similar tricks used in this video is patched out, so you can't just goose through the perk.
But skills and just going into melee, then learning the unarmed strikes from Lo Pan/Dragon, then paralyze again and etc and you can kill everyone using your bare fists. The only limitation is with AP.
@@PainRack slayer and sniper don't mix, this I know but I found a way before beating the game to get both on one char, it takes a chip (str) and taking hits in a stat (chr) to do it but it can be done having slayer sniper and 9 luck making a 90% crit rate with melee and ranged weapons. I killed so many wendigos by popping them at range with a red Ryder bb gun in the eyes outright one shoting them it bored me, so many super mutants with a super sledge I got up and did stuff while they slid knocked back by a crit it lost its wow factor.
I played the hell out of FO2, if I could find my disk I'd still play it.

It doesn't matter which way you choose you can get the xp from the first or second option.
And over 3333 times from level 2 to level 50! About 5 hours of just doing it so your a beast.

@@ICECREAMane1017 charisma governs two skills: barter, and speech. Barter is pointless because caps are plentiful even in hardcore very hard mode, and speech can just be leveled as a skill.
Charisma changes basically nothing, especially when compared to other SPECIAL like agility or strength.
@@learnmore8771 It also affects companion nerve, which I guess is useful in hardcore mode, and it has animal friend behind it, which isn't entirely useless. But yeah, overall, it's really underused in the game.

Still haven't played through the DLC ten years later. Took me about ten years to play through Fallout 2. Not beat it, beat it a long time before that. Play through side quests. That is what I used to love about Fallout. So much to do, so many ways to play. Awesome game.
With all things aside if you rise your endurance to 6 and barter to 70 you can get the long haul perk so you can fast travel with all the leather armor to trade for any supply you need
