- Skyrim is a fantastically balanced game in the great elder scrolls series of RPGs. Anyway today we are discovering that skyrim is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits well excluding the Skyrim Paralyze Only Challenge. So today I chose to revisit the game and ask the question. Can you paralyze ever npc in skyrim? and Can you beat skyrim with only a Alchemy? These are the important questions which have gone unanswered for too long! So yes today we are going to break the game with the power of Alchemy and Paralysis!!! Reanu keeves adventures is set to continue and take new exciting turns as the Spiffing Brit also takes the alchemy of skyrim to the next level of video game exploits on his quest for the Most Overpowered Potion. Honestly all of this is one big experiment gone wrong :D So we sit down and watch the spiffing brit find all 1000 npcs of skyrim and give them paralysis potions. So lets Paralyze every npc!!! This best be possible in Elder scrolls 6.
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. Spiff here has 1018 paralysis potions, each of them with 92353 seconds duration, which is around 25 hours, 39 minutes and 13 seconds. He had two options at one moment: paralysing Skyrim for around a day, or paralysing a single NPC for 3 YEARS, 8 days and 21 seconds.

Fun fact: Netch jelly is the only ingredient in the game with paralysis as its first effect, meaning you can paralyze yourself with it. Supposedly this can be used to save yourself from falling damage, though I've never tried this myself.
I've tried it, and it does save you from fall damage. I spent longer than I wanted to getting some, then jumped off the throat of the world. I was completely fine. Perfectly Balanced, As All Things Should Be.
If you use Netch jelly with the Whirlwind Sprint shout you can travel large distances. Thank you Ymfah for the info
I never explored Solstheim that much in my first playthrough so I just got some Netch jelly the other day, and my first instinct was to consume it to see what it’s effect was, I was so confused for like 5 seconds as my character just froze and fell over and then unfroze again. Then I put two and two together. So, that was an interesting moment.

With the paralysis poison bug(?), you can actually remove some essential NPCs from the game. There should be a few different way to do this, but the one I've seen work the best is with the sawmills. Paralyze someone outside, drag them onto the cut logs that come off the saw mill. When a log is cut, it falls off the mill, sits on top of the pill and then despawns after a few seconds. Any object or character, player character included, that is on top of this log when it despawns will be launched into orbit. The force is enough to launch people out of the loaded in area. Unless I am mistaken, launching an essential NPC out of the loaded area will cause the game to lose track of them and result in them disappearing from the game.
That sounds like a LOT of fun!

In 2011 shortly after getting the game, I reached the bloke who blocks entrance to soveringard on the giant skeleton thing. He challenges you to a fight to get in. I paralyzed him with a spell and he fell down, slid off the ribs of the skeleton bridge and fell to his "Death" He reappeared in front of me and told me something about it being an honorable fight lol. GG.
It makes you wonder about all the "Dishonorable" fights he's seen in his time. After standing there for millennia, one has to winder: How low does his bar go?

Imagine playing Skyrim for so long that he comes back
The fastest way to get alchemy ingredients is to plant them at your hearthfire home. get the garden addon indoors and the garden outdoors. Just plant imp stools and swamp fungal pods and wait 3 days. With the alchemy perk to pick double plants you get 6 from each pick. And I think there are around 25 spots in total so 6x25=150 ingredients every 2 min or so.
That's how I always level my alchemy with paralyzing pots ^^

False, the fastest way to do anything is to use console commands properly. I’ve “played” video games so much that I can execute console commands blindfolded, drunk, one arm behind my back, after a night of no sleep, and with the most awful migraine of all time,

@@Jaknife101 no i tried this using the chest in breezehome which shouldnt have been affected however even being a seperate hold doesnt stop its use. using a unique item registers anything else with the same item number null i think.

You could also just enchant a wooden sword with paralysis if you don't want to spend a million years duplicating ingredients, and then you can paralyze children too. In that case you'd probably just want to duplicate some black soul gems
I've done this. It can take one hit or it can take 20. I couldn't get it to work on children. Not that i really tried that hard 😏

Hey y’all, so I just found something out while doing the restoration glitch, if you take off your armor, drink the potion, and put your armor back on again (as normal) but when you put your armor back on, find the strongest one (the one that increases the potion highest, dosent matter what it is) and keep putting on and taking it off (keep in mind you haven’t left your inventory after drinking the potion) it will keep staking, so you could go from a potion that increases restoration by 15% to 5000% just by taking off and putting back on the best potion increaser in your inventory

I don’t know if anyone mentioned already but the Ebony Warrior is resistant to paralysis, frost, and burn damage. Also, since he’s a redguard, he’s resistant to poisons.

He's not "resistant" to poisons, he's straight up immune due to being an end game level boss. I believe he's also immune to paralysis, being disarmed by the Disarm shout and being frozen by the Ice Form shout. Basically any cheese strat that isn't just a straight up nuke of damage from a weapon one-shotting him they made him immune to because he's meant to be a challenge.
Edit: Okay he's SUPPOSED to be immune to poison, but Spiff somehow made him take damage from one in the video lol

10:50 never do the dupe trick next to barrels, walls, or any other objects, and be on a flat ground. Some items clip through walls and objects really easily because of their size and shape. Also, if you do it in town, the guards are going to get upset with you if any of the items were previously stolen since they're still internally tagged as "stolen item".

Actually most NPCs resist enchant paralysis so potions are better....but... Coat a weapon with the potion instead would have cut the need by 10x I think...Also lets you paralyze even children....If your into that sorta thing

Invention of tea in ancient China is far more plausible than it being invented by the fictional character Reanu Keeves, unless you're claiming he lived in ancient China at some point and made the discovery there.

RE: Mage Build
The Augmented Shock perk, the Impact perk and the second tier lightning bolt spell will stunlock anything. Impact staggers enemies hit by your dual-cast magic and it isn't listed but Augmented Shock lets you stagger large enemies too. IE dragons, mammoths and giants. I don't know if it works in Skyrim Special Edition but it trivialised most fights once I had enough magicka regeneration, including all the final bosses.
I chose the second tier lightning spell for two reasons; Shock because there's no travel time and Lightningbolt because the lower teir spells are far more efficient on damage-done:magicka-cost. Teir 2 is the lowest that procs Impact. Thunderbolt would work just the same but I wasn't abusing enchanting/smithing stacking so the magicka cost was way too much to consider.

I nearly sprayed my coffee over my monitor when the warning about remaining stale and hard came up.

Top tip: when wanting to just drop or sell 1 item at the time select your stack and press the home key on your keyboard, this will take it straight down to 1, helpful for this glitch or power levelling speech!

I've tried paralyzing NPCs for extended periods, but sadly when I fast traveled away, then returned they were back to normal. even though they were paralyzed for 12 real-time days. :(

Just so you know you don't have to pick them back up. You can just drop the ones in followers inventory and have them repick it up. Makes this 10 times faster. Tried this to see how long it took only 1.5 hours with my way (just to get all the ingredients)

In a game such as red dead redemption, or any call of duty, if a thousand NPCS spawned the Game would crash. Not to mention that that count doesn't include most bandits, dragons, and drauger.
@@Santisima_Trinidad Well considering it was made to run on the xbox 360, I guess it makes sense. Granted you expect to see a lot of them on newer hardware nowadays, with Assassin's creed unity being the closes to seeing hundreds of npcs on screen that isn't zombies (World War Z).

@@inserisciunnome I meant the original RDR, RDR 2 has an adventure in being made for the PS4 (I know PC's are more powerful, but those aren't consistent in capabilities, a console is) and an unfair advantage in not being a Bethesda game, so obviously more NPCs could be spawned in without the game crashing.

When you warp back for the glitch, don’t pick the stuff up on the floor, have your follower do it, then trade, then drop everything on the floor again.
So drop 5 (have him pick them up), warp out and back, have him pick up whatever’s on the ground (say, 5), then trade and drop all 10 on the ground. Rinse and repeat. 5 to 10 to 20 to 40 to 80 to 160 to 320 to 640 to 1280. 8 warps per ingredient to get over 1000.

You know what’s funny about this with the paralysis time and with the speed of game to world if you paralyzed all of them for that long their muscles would probably atrophy and they would not be able to move afterwards anyway
Dump on the atrophy of their muscles. If you paralyze someone for that long, they will suffocate to death.
