  • 🤤 Oatmeal is my go-to for a satiating, nutritious breakfast or snack.
It's extremely nutrient dense, and it's easy to make savory or sweet, depending on what flavor profile you're feeling.
Try this overnight oats recipe (an absolute favorite in our house)
    🥣 OVERNIGHT OATS:
    1/2 cup oats
    1 scoop protein powder
    1 tbsp nut butter
    1 tsp cocoa powder
    1 tbsp cocoa nibs
1/2 banana or apple (cut up)
    1 cup water
Shake it up, store in your fridge overnight and enjoy warm or cold the next day!
    Macros:
    Carb - 43 grams
    Fat - 14 grams
    Protein - 33 grams

Let’s look at this realistically. If your not working out everyday to burn of the sugar from the oatmeal you should probably not eat oatmeal it makes you feel great because it raises your blood sugar period. I’m so tired of people trying to make sense of of nonsense. What spikes your blood sugar isn’t good to eat and if you partake enjoy in small quantities and not everyday. The average person doesn’t work out like this silly guy

It’s still a grain.. it has phytic acid .

  • @otterguyty

Careful! Most oats are contaminated with glyphosate.

You can't deny he's in great shape. But I would urge you to look into why you should definitely not eat oats. Start with professor bart kay. Then that will lead you to countless other doctors telling you to avoid oats.

Flapjacks and flapjack cookies are ok on cheat days. Otherwise, I will never waste my stomach capacity or taste buds on trashy oatmeal again.

    Full of sugar dangerous

  • @biffbyfford6890

They are not super filling at all, they spike your blood sugar like crazy, im always hungry an hr after eating them.

  • @Sharbecca23

I take oats, protein powder, pb2, and milk. Its like crack. Low sugar and about 40 grams of protein and about 400-500 calories.

  • @ramoee359

I make a cream of rice. Just blend up leftover refrigerated rice and a bit of Greek yogurt and milk and then add your favorite protein powder, some fruit then boom. I prefer this over oats

  • @johnw3952

YES! Oatmeal is very satiating. When I eat in the morning, I'm not hungry for several hours.

I just finished looking at short where another fitness person claims oatmeal is the worst thing to eat. It just seems that fitness experts, and enthusiasts do not agree.

  • @itsonlyapapermoon61

So many people saying oats are bad😅

  • @jamesmillward

    Oats are fantastic!!

  • @nemesis1487

My mum has dementia and since I have added oatmeal to her daily diet ( a cup in the morning with pure honey and and same in the early evening) she seems so much healthier and stronger. Don't know what the doctors say but I have seen a real difference. It also seems to make her happier.
