What's The Best Sounding Truck in America? You be the judge: ruclips.net/video/Z8tw957sfK8/видео.html
The nissan titan sounds like mustang gt
Hey TFL, I live in Colorado and would love to help out any way with your videos for free. I didn't see any other way to contact ya. Take care!
Why no raptor?
I don’t know why but I always cringe when they rev engines to redline in neutral :(
Up next f150 limited
I have a 2018 Titan pro 4x, I absolutely love it.
I always poop before a 1/4 run to decrease Dung Drag.
The Olympic committee will ban that.
Is that why they call you shitbrick?
Lmao hilarious! I really needed that laugh
I'd go with the Nissan for reliability I own a Chevy and a Gmc but gotta say I love my Titan the most its just reliable as it can get
Damn bro how u get all that!?
@@ms1406 ditto my Titan requires less work than my Chevys and Fords have and it was cheaper to begin with
@@misterbulger how many issues have u had with chevy and ford
@@issavibez394 a few bad chevy motors and a few bad ford transmissions mostly
Nissan is ugly
I'm surprised by how good the Titan V8 sounds. Definitely the best sounding with the GMC the second best. Even though the Titan lost it held up well
The VK56 is such an underrated engine, they are basically a Japanese DOHC LS 😂 take boost just as well and have 6 bolt mains
Andre is the most humble guy on the channel...
That Titan sounds fantasticly fabulous!
Everybody always says the Titan is a lot faster than they were expecting 🤣My friends tell me that all the time when they try to keep up... it's like a cool looking sleeper. And for sound, you need to hear my 2013 Titan with an X pipe and dual exhaust thru a flowmaster super 44 dual in dual out. Makes that VK56 really breath nice.
U need to hear my 2019 titan with true duals and a super 10 dual in dual out
1st gen titan would prob pull all 3 of these lol
You guys do great reviews, thank you!
Drag racing is fun to watch but completely irrelevant in my purchasing decisions.
Exactly!
Totally, like comparing which car can tow the best. I have truck to carry shit
@Terry, remind me not to follow you, I won't tailgate for sure.
@@jthompson6189
Good chance if the truck is faster in a drag race it's going to tow better as well. It's very important to know that when you hammer down to get on the highway that you and your 29 foot travel trailer does a strong 0-60 for peace of mind.
I base my decision on who wins u want a fast truck to get u outta jams if needed.
Good Job guys with the film!! Can't wait to see the rest of the series!!
So no one's gonna point out the fact that the Rebel is a quad cab and not crew cab like the other two?
Damn I thought the 6.2 wouldn’t even be close
Surprised the Nissan did as well as it did.
The Titans have always been pretty quick.
@@connergallagher1815 it's Japanese. Americans don't make engines of that kind. The Vk56 has been around in japan since the 80's .
Pretty damn good for an older Nissan to keep up with both newer trucks with more horsepower. Should have ran a tundra also.
Great review, all 3 are so close.
The Nissan has the best exhaust sound most definitely.
The Titan is definitely the best sounding out of the 3.
Nothing sounds better than a Hemi
The hemi and the 6.2 sound better
God damn chevy
They made the 6.2 sound like a asthmatic weezing in a thin metal room
Seriously, my stock 03 4Runner sounds way better with a "dinky" little 4.7L
asthmatic
They should have fitted the GMC with the factory cat-back exhaust and performance air-intake.
Fun to watch video, waiting on tow competition on Ike gauntlet but be fair and include the Ford and the Tundra in the mix.
I love the look of the new gmc trucks. I like the at4 with the 6.2 better than the new trail boss. Cool video. Thanks. 👍
GMC for me.
not surprised
Agreed
I do like that 6.2!
Me Toooooooooo
Gotta love that torque management and throttle response slow enough to keep your grandma happy!
Gotta launch it in off road mode!
I remember going to an informational meeting about being on this show over at Galvanize years back. I think it's a better production than I ever could be have been part of lol. Great work guys. I'm the guy that's a pro off roader in factory base vehicles (powerline right of way inspector driving a stock f150 through the sketchiest "trails" imaginable with over 300k miles on the clock)
Awesome job guys
Wow that very Nice Looking GMC Sierra AT4 won overall. Can't wait to see how it does off road. Sure you did it with the Trail Boss, but this is a AT4 😃
I'm guessing the Ford broke down on the way there. LMAO!.
The ford probably did! Well that and it’s a v6 and real trucks have v8’s
@@9fishwm but you drive an Xterra lol
There is a reason the biggest ranch only uses Ford...also have you seen a Ford raptor?
Prob true they have already had 2 fords in tests that did not finish cus of issues.
Buck's Shots I drive an Sierra too. Had a 2014 f 150 and it caught on fire. Never again would I own a ford
Great video guys.
You guys are hilarious :) I enjoy all of your videos
Titan sounds great. 5.7 did well against the 6.2 despite giving up half a liter.
The 6.2 is still just a pure badass
Only 7 speed! The Titan needs to a new transmission.
Thank you, great video.
Thanks for the discount at IMI! I’ll use it the next time I go to the track
Great job Nissan! Smallest engine and still hung with the big displacement
has the lowest gearing if I remember correctly. The big three have horrible gearing in their trucks :/
@@lespaulplayer1234512 lol
@@lespaulplayer1234512 that titan has at best 3.36
casey chance the other ones also have more gears
@@lespaulplayer1234512 Most titans have a 293 gear ratio the Pro 4x usually get a slightly better gear ratio like 327
I love this 5.6 liter V8 it's just transtastic. @3:35
I own a 2015 pro 4x and after owning ford and gm in the past.. it hurts me to say but i like the pro 4x alot more
It's true because it's a better valued and more reliable truck the Titan is..
That ram is gorgeous!
GM took the Nissan Titan front end for the Sierra and mixed the tundra and f150 for the Silverado
I like the Titan the best. Its the most all around capable of all of the current pickups, like a swiss army knife and can be purchased at a much lower price with comparable features, doesnt rust as quickly as the GMCs and Dodges’, and has behind the rear seat storage which is my fav feature that no one talks about
Yeah Nissan is good man
I added a sprint booster to my 2019 Titan and it’s a beast. Cut a full second off 0-60. Hemi would also do amazing with better throttle response.
GM clear back to 07 has had it to where if you try to power boost the throttle over 1500ish rpm it causes traction control to jump in. It only took me one race to figure that out. Let's go boys!
2:30 is the exhaust pipe trim piece real chrome or some plastic veneer? Looks like it's got some plasticy ripples in the finish.
Titan sounds amazing
I like the AT4 and it’s 6.2L but I’d have to go with the REBEL. The 3.92 axle ratio and it’s excellent interior is enough to sway me.
Nooooooo don’t they have terrible reliability..
Still don't want a Titan??? 🤭 I'm in love with mine ❤️
It seems like at least 90% of the comments are going to be biased towards the Sierra AT4 or Ram Rebel. But out of all the three trucks in this comparison, I'd buy the Titan Pro-4X. Why? Because the Titan Pro-4X is more affordably priced than the GMC or Ram. The Titan's 5.6 V8 makes a reasonable amount of power (390 hp). Despite the fact that Nissan doesn't have the name recognition like Chevy/GMC, Ford and Ram for half-tons (although they have been making compact/midsize trucks since the 70's when they were still Datsun, the Titan has only been around for 15 years), Nissan has a far better reputation for quality/reliability compared to the Big Three (but not as great as Toyota). The Titan also has great handling.
Barely noticed it in another recent video that you're a steeler fan!! 👍🍻
Isn't there a pretty drastic price difference between these 3? I think you could afford to put a supercharger on that Titan and still spend less than the GMC.
AGREED. My Nissan was like 20k less than other trucks i was looking at at the time. Even with a lift kit, rims, coilovers, color matched topper, custom roof rack, hitch, upgraded stereo, I'm still way ahead of a stock base model of any of these other trucks. Even if I have to replace the entire powertrain I'm still coming in cheaper. Not that I'll have to...
I'll be waiting for the next episode. Great race and go Nissan!
Whats the max towing a payload on the Ram Rebel 4x4 for 2019?
Like your videos TFL. Reminds me of run what you brung. But In y’all’s case it’s “ Run What They Gave You “
Nothing like GMC....
I'd go for the GMC !! It's a beast !! ;-)
Christophe Tessier me too 👍 so nice
Nope. Not as reliable. I went from GMC to titan pro 4x. Never saling it.
@7:14 he says micrometer, which measures thickness or outside diameter(O.D.). What he meant was caliper, which will not only measure O.D, but also distance and inside diameter(I.D.).
You guys have a good sense of humor.
I wonder how it would do now with the updated engine and the nine speed transmission.
I thought that 6.2 gmc was one of the fastest trucks on the market. I’m amazed that titan and the ram kept up with it as well as they did with smaller engines
Part of the reason I love the Hemi over the 6.2 is how easy it is to beef it up. Those things can handle a lot more than 395 horsepower lol
I was very surprised that the 6.2L didn't destroy the other two trucks. That Rebel is an amazing truck. If I ever went back to a 1/2 ton truck it would definitely be a Ram Rebel.
The Winner of this race lost twice against TITAN, good job guys.
Wow that Nissan was impressive as hell! But I’ll always love my hemi
Got the 2019 Denali today😍
Can't wait for that off road video
Still glad I bought a Titan! Not the Pro4X, but still! Also costs a heck of lot less than the Ram & GMC.
The Ram was not a full four (quad cab), wonder why they did not mention that.
Man I love that yellow truck and that 5.6L V8
Wow!! What a pack you guys got here!! I'm not biased towards any automaker, but the NISSAN sure sounded the meanest!! Also the GMC has way more horsepower and Torque, shouldn't it of slaughtered the other 2 no questions asked?? Guess power numbers aren't everything!! Keep up the great work guys!!
It's the off road package!
Has bumper fairing 3 inches above the ground.
Nissan needs to make a gt-r mutant where it's awd mid engine but with the 5.6 v8 twin turbo with two electric motors in the front for instant torque it will be Nissans hyper car
Nissan v8 revs so fast all the way up to 6k, the GMC engine revs much slower even as you can hear his foot thump into the floor.
that's how all my Nissan's are
Go Stillers! We'll have to start calling the Titan "Big Yellow!" :D
3.92 rear in the Ran vs 3.23 in the GMC is a huge advantage. If GM put a somewhat more aggressive rear end ratio, it would run mid to low 14s.
Nissan TITAN IS THE KING OF trucks.
Yeah, for the like 12 people that would buy them.
Wut about that tundra trd pro
A wonderful truck but all 3 of these trucks are faster. Toyota should update it’s already beastly 5.7.
i own a titan platinum select 4x4 and this thing is way faster and stronger than anything i have ever owned as far as trucks goes. engine sound awsome, gm engines sound like they are going to loose a screw. good match up
Right on Andre, 6.2 always wins.
GMC at4 ? Does that mean you'll go through 4 automatic transmissions 😂
That means they have a 4 transmission limit before they buy back the truck under lemon law.
That means it has 4 wheels that are 4 wheel drive dumbo!
Have you read a Ford Forum lately and the complaints about the 10 speed transmission? GM is going to have a blast when driveshafts start "thunking" on startup.
Nicholas Coucoularis probably gmc/Chevys are just complete trash 😂
Nicholas Coucoularis I think your thinking of the ram.... every fiat piece of shit goes through transmissions.
I hope you guys know that the GMC has an off-road mode
OptionalTundra so does the raptor
Plus safety features. He's brake torquing it with the traction control and svc on. It's literally pulling all power away when he goes. These guys can't race for shit. Turn all features off. Ac off. Auto 4wd on. Sport mode on. Brake it to 2500 and it will shit all over that junk Nissan. Chrysler corporation of Japan.
Man that GMC looks great in black
"Doesn't make no sense! Doesn't have to." LMAO
Interesting, especially interesting considering the 6.2 uses premium, 5.7 uses mid grade, and the 5.6 uses regular fuel
@@inforthewin3231 yes tat is the recommended fuel grade for the 6.2L ecotocec3 V8
Maybe they used 87 on it
I've owned tundra and now 2017 titan. Titan is way quicker IMO.
How's the mpg 14 on a 2019 tundra even if I don't carry anything is it really a gas guzzler
The active torque management in the missan is why the ram initially pulled and then stopped pulling on it. It limits the power in 1st and second gear on the nissan. It looked like the Nissan might have slowly started reeling in the ram if the race was longer.
My 2015 Sierra RCSB Z71 5.3 was 3 tenths faster in the 1/4 mile with traction control off. Definitely feel the difference taking off the line.
Since these yahoos wanna play the “they are all winners” card, the gmc was fastest, then ram, the the titan. There can only be one winner. (This only applies to the drag race)
the titan beat the gmc in all races but 1 lol
You guys should have switched drivers.
The 6.2 would sound great if they would put a catback or something
I like that they are all naturally aspirated. No terbo eco or boosters. Of coarse the Ferd terbo would win at a mile high.
A big difference here is availability and cost. It's super easy to get a Nissan Titan or Ram as tested. Trying to buy any GM truck with a 6.2 without spending darn near $70k is next to impossible. The real motor in GM trucks is the 5.3 and it's a DOG!
that's not even close to being true
C G I am 2/3 correct. Of the thousands of Silverado's available to purchase in my area right now, there are only 12 that include the 6.2. Where I was wrong was the cost. Cheapest one in my area stickers at $57k. Most are $60k plus. Not the $70k I said above. But, I stand by my statement that the 5.3's are complete dogs.
@@mattautomotive5738 Depends, if you fill up the 5.3 with E85 they're not slow by any means.
@Andrew Postma wrong the 5.3 is one of the best engines so shut your yap do some research. 5.3 is a very good engine.
@Andrew Postma Gm has made the best v8 engines of all time look it up. There is a reason the most powerful V8 you can build are chevy small block and big block just saying. And we have 3, 5.3s never have a problem with any of them and they have alot of power if you get the 373 gears. If 323 gears I agree then they are a dog.
The ram wasn’t a full size cab compared to the others
That's the lovely drive by wire for you. Delay delay delay
Turn traction control and stabilitrak off on the AT4. Both limit power to the wheels.
The Titan is very underrated. Ive driven all 3 of these and the Titan felt like it had the best low end torque despite its 2.93 axle. Definitely slower than the F150 tho.
Chris W I beat a 10 speed 5.0 f150
@@zanelucas512 driver error haha its 0-60 is 6.4s
Yoh this race is kinda unfair.... We have 5liters v8 ram and titan...but a 6 liter GMC...it should've been a 5.3 GMC a 5.7 ram and a 5.6 titan
Or a 6.7 ram power wagon vs 6.2 GMC
It's the Allison Transmission that causes the delay when stomping the gas. It does this to prevent damage to the transmission
just stomp on it a tad earlier
GMC frame rust is pretty fast too
The 6.2 won.😁😁👍
Alot of guys commenting that have no clue keep the dumb posts coming. I drove all these trucks and bought a Titan. The new Ram is nice but its still a Dodge. And the F150 is nice but more common then any vehicle out there. Good truck but they just blend in. The Titan all the way except yellow. And the stock exhaust sounds great. My fbo 2011 Camaro SS with the 6.2 and Corsa exhaust sounds great...Chevy always sounds good with nice after market exhaust.
I test drove a 1500 Titan last year. I found it very underwhelming compared to the other brands. However the Titan XD with the 5L Cummins now that is a good truck. Nissan should adapt it to the 1500 and sell that truck.
@@foxwithshades7080 Its a matter of opinion. Dodge and GM did nothing for me but the F150 wasn't bad. I liked the Pro4X version of the Titan over the Ford.
@@modernmusclecar1904 I mean that is fair. It is also a matter of life style. I work with heavy equipment and construction and I own a farm that I work on. So I need a truck that is tow capable. The light duty Silverado and F150 worked well for me on the farm. The heavy duty ram and f350 work well for me in construction.
@@modernmusclecar1904 also I love your Camaro. I had a 1969 SS and currently own a 1973 GT500 Mustang.
@@foxwithshades7080 Ya the Titan is a little light in the towing dept . Its hauls my 24ft Cruiser so I'm good with that.
Wonder how this would work out with the 2020 titan? Better tuning and a 9 speed
How does the new Tundra fit in this mix guys?
Can we see a race between a 2018 or 2019 F150 5.0 and these trucks?
Sorry no junk was allowed.
Raptor... or an eco 3.5... wouldn’t even be a race. Say what you will but they will beat those other trucks in a 0-60. Ridiculous to be drag racing trucks in a segment anyways.
@@santosbarron3754 Why was the Fiat there then?
@@santosbarron3754 They had to keep it fair so left the Fords out of this one lol.
Nathan McDonald for sure any of the ecoboost trucks even the 2.7 would have beat these trucks in the short burst especially
AT4 looks by far the best and the others actually look really good too
I agree. Huge Chevy fan and I think it looks good, BUT I have to give it to the Ram when it comes to the interior.
I'm pleasantly surprised at how good the Titan did here.As for colors, the Rebel and Titan will be easier to find in a Parking lot at night.
