    Great comparison! They're both very nice trucks... But I really like the sound of the V8 in the Titan; it's solid steering feel is a good addition also. Analog is fine for me - I'm a little old-school.

    Titan because:
    All steel body
    Adaptive cruise control
    Handling is better
    Cooling seats
    Sounds better
    More reliable
    No auto stop start

    Ram makes a nice truck. I’d take a Ram over a Chevy or Ford, but there is something about the Titan I can’t get past. I am getting a Titan, even over the Tundra.

    As much I do like the looks of the ram rebel and it sounds good from the hemi5.7 but I would go for the titian for three reasons,1= 5.6 engine sound better from stock,2= old school column shifter,and 3=NO engine shut off/On feature

    • @michalp2362
      @michalp2362 3 года назад

      Column shifter is an automatic deal breaker. I like that truck but the column shifter is way too 90’s for me. Hopefully they upgrade to something more modern in 2022 model

      @@michalp2362 Same. I would literally choose the Titan if it had a console shifter. Other than that I think the Titan from a longevity perspective is way better.

      Your reasoning is what I have heard a lot of people echo on the Titan and I can agree. It is sorta the last of a dying breed of "normal" trucks.. i love my 2017 Titan.

    • @Mixwell1983
      @Mixwell1983 Год назад

      @@jaredcarroll483 can I ask why youd prefer a console shifter? In my Titan i can raise the console up and have a bench style seat to fit 6 passengers.
      Do the console dedicated shifters allow movement of the console to accommodate a 3rd passanger up front? Im genuinely curious because ive not been in a truck that had a console shifter.

    Thank you for these reviews. With everything I’ve been watching I am completely sold on the titan pro 4X Especially with the five year 100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.Now just to find one since I can’t find any available Titans here at any of my local Nissan dealerships or nearby city Nissan dealership. Hopefully by the end of this year or the beginning of next year production will have Caught up to the demand.

    I got a base 2017 Titan S and love it. No start stop and has an actual column shifter. Mine is really bare bones, no power mirrors and vinyl floor (no carpet) which i actually prefer now in snow conditions and having a 6 year old kid.
    Mine didnt even have the mandated backup camera (I guess it may have been built early 2017) as I have heard they mandated them in 2017 and newer vehicles. Had the dealer throw in an aftermarket one and have it installed. Didnt have the tow package but previous owner installed a Curt hitch so the dealer also ran the 4 and 7 pin wiring to the bumper included for free .
    I do have push button start which I hate and prefer a key because once the key fob battery gets low I have had to literally hold the fob next to the push button for it to recognize the fob.. big thumbs down for me.
    Was in the market actually for a 3.3 v6. F150 or the 3.6 V6 Ram but nothing really available.
    For the same price I got my Titan with 4x4 and lower miles than the other brands in the used truck market last year.
    Loving my Titan soo far, slapped on a cherrybomb extreme muffler and she sounds awesome.
    I think all the big 3 come with auto start stop which I dont care for personally. I know it can be turned off but Im curious how much fuel savings it's actually doing if you did a comparison over a month.
    Edit: sorry for writing a novel of a comment.

    I recently switched from a 2021 trail boss 5.3L to a 2019 Titan and the Titan build quality, fit and finish is much better. Also feels a lot tighter in general. Got to say tho, the Rebel looks badass and ram has the interior figured out. I would take either of theses trucks over Ford ecoboost.

    Both trucks sound bad ass but if I’m right, on the titan you are more able to rev higher rpms than the ram due to the governor which might be the reason why it sounds louder.I was expecting the titan to be just a hint faster than the ram but there both the same. Either way both trucks are great and they are worth the money.

    Ive heard that the Titans still use hydraulic steering vs electric power steering which I heard you mentioning the difference.
    Seen a lot of vs vids on the big 3 and even including Toyota and Nissan I have to admit the Ram interior is far superior than all of the other 1/2 ton trucks.
    I have heard people say that the Titan still has the "real truck" features that some of the others are missing.. no start stop and column shift seems to peak a lot of preferences in some people from what ive seen in comments in some of these videos.
    Hey you have a cool gig, i wouldn't mind test driving vehicles and give my opinions and input on them. Thanks for the video

    I think one big thing to be mentioned is. The new titans aren't based on the first gen vk56de. It's a vk56VD and if you search High mileage you really don't see many past 150k. I have the new titan and am hoping to get atleast 200k. But the carbon build issue from being direct injection. Just Google infiniti m56 or q70 or any infiniti with the 5.6 and you'll find they are very bad about carbon build. A catch can. And premium gas is hopefully the ticket. I've got about 70k on mine so far. And hope it's as reliable as the old school titan.

    • @dave3682
      @dave3682 2 года назад +1

      Nissan recommends having fuel induction service done every 30,000 miles. It is likely that the people having carbon buildup issues are abusing their vehicles by not maintaining proper maintenance and service.

      Not stiff, most American trucks have electronic steering versus the Titan which has hydraulic steering…it’s heavier. For those of us that like trucks to feel like trucks, we prefer it. With that said, if your misses drives the truck often, I’m sure the electronic steering in the grocery store parking lot will help them a lot.
